Within My Sect, All Realms Unite-Chapter 12: Heavenly cloud palace
Lin Xiao Tian’s gaze locked onto the beast. Without hesitation, he raised his hand and signaled the disciples into formation.
In an instant, they moved precise and disciplined. "Attack!"
He, Yan, and Ciao took the lead, charging forward as the vanguard. Spiritual energy surged around them like a rising tide. Behind them, the other disciples unleashed coordinated techniques, their support strikes weaving together into a seamless assault.
The beast roared as killing intent filled the air.
As they pressed their assault, the beast suddenly swept its claws toward Ciao, instinctively targeting the largest presence on the battlefield. Ciao didn’t retreat.
With a roar, he swung his massive halberd in a brutal horizontal arc. The weapon tore through the air with crushing force, yet the beast twisted away with startling speed, its bulk moving far more nimbly than its size suggested.
But evasion came at a cost. The moment it shifted, talismans ignited behind it. Blades of wind, streaks of lightning, and burning spear-light rained down from the supporting disciples.
Though the beast was individually stronger and faster than any one of them, against coordinated pressure it began to falter.
Step by step, strike by strike, it was driven inward and encircled.
Realizing the trap, the beast let out a guttural hiss and lunged toward the weakest point in the formation.
Its body slammed forward with reckless force, scales scraping against defensive qi barriers as it attempted to break through.
At the same time, its chest swelled and a thick cloud of toxic gas burst outward. "Hold!" Lin Xiao Tian commanded.
Before the poison could spread, Yan Feng stepped forward. His sword aura erupted like a crescent moon. A single sweeping strike cleaved through the air and through the beast’s raised upper limbs.
Blood sprayed and the formation tightened instantly. Staggering and crippled, the beast tried to turn but Ciao was already there.
With both hands gripping the halberd, he thrust forward with unstoppable force. The massive blade pierced straight through the creature’s skull, emerging from the other side in a spray of dark blood.
The beast twitched violently.
Then went still.
Lin Xiaotian looked down at the beast’s massive corpse, a faint curve tugging at his lips. The hunt had gone exactly as planned.
"Rest for a quarter of an hour," he ordered calmly.
Then his gaze shifted as it landed on the unconscious white-clad youth lying several meters away.
The warmth in his eyes vanished. "Yan Feng. You. Follow me."
Without another word, he strode toward the figure. His boots crushed broken twigs and dried blood as he stopped beside the youth.
He did not hesitate Spiritual energy surged from his palm ferociously and mercilessly Piercing directly into the youth’s meridians.
"Aaaagh!"
The white-clad youth’s eyes snapped open, his body convulsing as violent pain tore through him. His face turned deathly pale.
He saw the beast’s corpse and the surrounding disciples and Lin xiao tian standing above him.
For a moment, fear flickered then it disappeared.
He forced himself upright, brushing dust from his sleeves with forced composure. "Fellow Daoist," he said lightly, "there was no ill intent. I simply believed you capable of handling the situation. One could say I... assisted you."
His gaze sharpened slightly. "Besides, you already struck me earlier and damaged my meridians. Let us consider the matter settled."
The surrounding air grew colder Lin Xiaotian stared at him as though looking at a corpse and without warning.
Bang.
His kick sent the youth crashing back into the dirt the ground cracked beneath him.
"Do you take us for fools?" Lin Xiaotian’s voice was calm terrifyingly calm. "You lured the beast toward us and waited to reap the benefits."
He stepped forward, pressing his foot against the youth’s chest. "Either take out something that you believe is worthy of your dog life or I will shatter your Dantian and let you live as a crawling cripple."
His eyes turned glacial. "Refuse... and I will make you beg for death."
For the first time, a shadow passed through the white-clad youth’s expression but instead of fear, arrogance surfaced. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
He laughed. "My father is an elder of the Heavenly Cloud Palace." The name hung heavily in the air.
"I have already shown mercy by not pursuing the matter of you attacking me. Know your place. Let this end here or the consequences will not be something you can afford."
Hearing this Lin xiao tian’s expression changed not in retreat but in cold rage and a impulse flickered in him to murder someone.
Alas... Lin Xiaotian sighed inwardly.
I really didn’t want to fall into such a cliché trope — killing a young master and then slowly destroying his entire sect.
His gaze flickered toward the white-clad youth but letting him go would be even more troublesome.
People like this never truly let matters rest if released today, he would simply return with elders and accusations tomorrow.
And if I back down now... What authority would remain for him as the Sect Master?
What dignity would remain for the sect if they were intimidated by some insignificant backwater power?
Lin Xiaotian’s eyes slowly turned cold some problems are better cut off at the root.
Lin Xiaotian looked at the white-clad youth for a long moment before speaking calmly. "Leave."
The youth froze for a moment before relief flashed across his face he turned and began to walk away quickly.
From the side, Yan Feng hesitated. His brows slightly furrowed as if wanting to speak, but Lin Xiaotian simply gave him a faint, mysterious smile.
The moment the youth’s back was fully turned Lin Xiaotian moved like lightning a cold flash of steel cut through the air.
Pierce.
The sword passed cleanly through the youth’s heart the white-clad youth stiffened. Blood poured from his mouth as disbelief filled his eyes.
He struggled to turn his head toward Lin Xiaotian, but his strength had already left him. His body collapsed onto the ground. Dead.
But the moment the corpse touched the earth a streak of light suddenly shot out from the body. Lin Xiaotian’s pupils shrank. He immediately tried to dodge, but the light was far too fast.
Whoosh.
It struck his arm and sank into his skin, forming a faint glowing mark Lin Xiaotian frowned. "A tracking mark... or perhaps a curse."
He looked down at the corpse with irritation and kicked it. "Even in death you’re causing trouble. How does trash like you possess something like this?"
Without delay, he contacted the system. "What do I do about this mark?"
The system replied calmly. [Wear the Sect Master Robe. Its aura will shield you. The mark will dissipate within thirty days.]
Lin Xiaotian glanced at the robe he was currently wearing Then his gaze shifted toward Ciao nearby.
"Alas..." He couldn’t exactly leave the boy standing there without clothes. Just then he noticed something.
"System... why do I have 750 points now?"
The system answered. [System points increased because the sect disciples advanced in their cultivation.]
Hearing this, Lin Xiaotian’s mood immediately improved. "Not bad."
He opened the system store and quickly purchased a Low-Tier Xuan Grade Robe. without hesitation, he walked toward Ciao and handed him the robe.
"Wear this." Ciao hurriedly accepted it.
Lin Xiaotian then removed his own Sect Master robe and put it back on, letting its aura conceal the glowing mark on his arm.
The faint light slowly dimmed beneath the robe’s protection Lin Xiaotian exhaled softly. "Thirty days"
His eyes turned cold again. "Looks like trouble is coming sooner or later."
Lin Xiaotian turned back toward Yan Feng he could clearly see the conflicted expression on the disciple’s face.
He calmy spoke to him "Whatever happens in the future, never bow your head to anyone."
Yan Feng looked up. "You are disciples of the Celestial Origin Supreme Sect." he continued "And more importantly you are Lin Xiao Tian’s disciples"
"So even if the sky falls, you will stand straight."
