Zombie Queen transmigration into a book-Chapter 133: Madam, you’re back
Eva quickly entered her space while still falling. She noticed Foxy’s white fur, which stood out more in the darkness. Reaching out, she grabbed Foxy’s tail and pulled them into her space.
Lying on the grassy ground, she let out a depressed sigh, her face pale and covered in sweat.
’What am I going to do now...how deep is it?’ This question flooded her mind, and she felt her situation was bleak.
She needed to rest and recover her energy before facing the unknown depths.
Eva closed her eyes, savoring the breeze against her skin as she absorbed the energy in the air around her, and gradually, her pale face gained a healthy flush.
"Hhh... time to check on Julian and head out," She muttered as she got up from the ground—patting her dusty behind, she moved toward Julian’s tent.
Upon arriving, she felt relieved to see Blaine sitting by the tree, clearly watching over Julain after what had happened the day before.
"Madam, you’re back," Blaine rose to his feet. He looked behind her but didn’t see Ethan or Aaron, so he assumed they might have gone somewhere else.
"Hmm. Did he show any sign of waking up? And have you fed his lunch?" Eva asked as she opened the flap and entered the tent.
Blaine followed behind her and answered her questions promptly. "Still no signs, and I’ve fed him and wiped him down."
Eva nodded as she moved closer to the bed, caressing his growing stubble. She traced his brows in concern before lying down close to him.
Blaine quietly left the room, allowing Eva some alone time with Julian.
"Today, we entered a dungeon, and pitiful me was separated from the others, but there’s nothing to fear—I’m strong enough to protect myself even..." Eva started to talk animatedly about her day, excluding the part that she was currently free-falling down an unknown depth, of course.
Julian didn’t react; his body was as still and perfect as a Greek sculpture, only the rise and fall of his chest showed he was alive. Eva grew quiet, perched from talking, and simply enjoyed the rhythm of his heartbeat close to her.
A few minutes passed, and she left the tent after giving Julian one last glance. Outside, Blaine still sat beside the tree.
"Butler, can I get glowing stones or crystals?" Eva asked, though she held no hope that Blaine might have what she needed.
Blaine didn’t speak for a moment, trying to remember if he had brought something like that with him. "Um, I think the chef might have some. Wait a moment—I want to go ask him," he finally said, recalling the chef, who used to use extra glowing stones when he cooked and might have brought some along.
"Okay, I’ll wait. If he has, could you help me with two? I need them for something important," Eva added, hoping with all her heart that the chef had some with him.
Blaine nodded and strode off, as Eva took his place keeping guard.
After some time, Blaine returned with a small bundle in his hand, and a wave of relief swept through Eva. ’Haa! I’m saved, I can use the light and assess my surroundings.’ These thoughts drifted through her mind as Blaine handed her the bundle.
"Madam, here’s the stone. He didn’t have crystals, but these are good as well," Blaine said as he watched her open the bag. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
"No need, thank him for me." Eva’s tone was filled with gratitude and relief.
"I’ll be leaving. Take care of Julian. Bye." With those words, she disappeared, catching Blaine off guard for a moment before he composed himself and sat back in his post.

Ethan looked around at the different ice sculptures he had made to mark the stairs, so he wouldn’t keep running in circles.
The one he and Wolfy were on didn’t have any ice sculpture.
Ethan had been wandering around for what felt like hours or minutes, but he had no sense of time, trapped in the stairs maze.
He rode on Wolfy as they ascended the spiral staircase. Wolfy was nearly dizzy from reaching the top, making it look like they were walking upside down.
It shook its head to clear its mind as it kept climbing. Ethan’s eyes darted around, looking for the connecting stairs since they were about to reach the end.
"Stop," he ordered Wolfy, his eyes darting toward another set of stairs, searching for one that would connect to his current path and lead him closer to the exit—the rugged, rock-covered door at the far left.
After being stuck here for hours, he realized this place wasn’t just a maze of stairs scattered around, with some crisscrossing others and reaching up to the ceiling in strange curves — it was also a puzzle, all leading to one exit.
He tried to destroy the stairs to reach the door, but the dungeon instantly rebuilt them — this was the dungeon trap section. He had once heard rumors about it and didn’t realize he would face one someday.
"Here," he muttered under his breath, as his eyes focused on a set of stairs, which he had mentally linked together.
He pointed to the stairs with a rabbit sculpture, and Wolfy jumped onto it just before Ethan sealed the edge of the one they had been on earlier.
Ethan managed to connect the stairs through trial and error, but the process left him with a pounding headache.
Time passed, and they finally reached the stairs leading to the door, a sigh of relief escaping Ethan and Wolfy’s lips.
Ethan rubbed his forehead, trying to ease the tension as they entered. The darkness around them made Wolfy’s electric blue eyes glow mysteriously, before a burst of light appeared at the exit.
Ethan closed his eyes for a moment to adjust to the light. As he opened them, he took in the moss-covered walls and the shards of crystals scattered across the ground.
What caught Ethan’s attention was the countless giant black wolf monsters lying still on the ground, their chests moving up and down, showing they were sleeping.
If Eva were here, she would have been angered by the monsters having a blast while their opponent was stuck in a trap room; it was as if they had no hope of Ethan ever coming out.
That thought brought a smile to his face, but his eyes grew serious as some wolves stirred; one sniffed the air and disappeared from the ground with remarkable, inhumane speed.
Wolfy sensed danger and quickly dodged to the side.
"Boom!"
The wall behind them was riddled with crystal shards. The wolf that attacked them slunk out of the dust, its claws glinting ominously in the light as crystal shards began to materialize in midair, floating above the monster and pointing toward Wolfy and Ethan.
Ethan frowned, already sensing it would be tough to defeat these monsters.
All around him, the sleeping wolves woke up and howled angrily at the intruder.
Ethan swiftly shapeshifted into a wolf, and along with Wolfy, they charged into the monsters’ midst as the battle commenced—loud bangs and whines echoed from the room. Ethan was exhilarated to feel the golden glow flowing through his body, which only intensified his drive to defeat more monsters.
He had been thinking about increasing his powers, and killing the dungeon monsters was helping him do that.
He sank his fangs into a wolf’s neck, tearing out its throat as blood splashed across his face, then tossed the corpse aside. He formed icy claws and swung to his left—but he couldn’t dodge the attack that ripped through his back.
He hissed in pain and slashed the wolf’s throat with his claws, dodging a crystal shard aimed at his neck.
Hours of fighting left his body coated in wolf blood, and the ground around him was littered with the corpses of the monsters.
Wolfy panted, its fur dripping with blood, as it moved closer to Ethan, who had returned to his human form.
