Antihero In the Hero Academy: I Can Connect the Past Heroes-Chapter 45: To The Interrogation
Chapter 45: To The Interrogation
It took almost a week for Atlas to open his eyes. To give an exact time, it would be correct to say six days, twenty-two hours and sixteen minutes.
For a long time, he had been trying to make the aura energy in his body stable and strong. Finally, he had succeeded.
He was very close to having a second-grade aura and becoming a Second-grade aura warrior. Still, this was something that could wait.
After recovering, he took a shower again, and after a short time, he got up and took a short shower to wash the sweat and dirt off his body, and then finally sat on his bed. He had a lot to do, and one of those things was, of course, to check the priceless treasures in his inventory.
He quickly went through his inventory and removed the ’King’s Might’ from the last row of the first page.
This book was one of the arts he had wanted to learn, or rather absorb, for a long time.
[King’s Might (Aura Art- Absorbable)
In one of the unknown ancient kingdoms, a stagnant king living in loneliness, decay and decay. Throughout his life, he has done his best to protect his kingdom with his aura, even when death overtook him. Are you ready to claim this honour?
This Aura Art is one of the purest and most aggressive arts in existence. Would you like to absorb Aura Art?
YES/NO]
Atlas smiled when he read the system window and then pressed ’yes’ without hesitation. freёnovelkiss.com
Atlas was sure that his head would ache deeply when he pressed this option, but he waited as if he didn’t care about it.
And yet nothing happened.
At least for a few seconds...
After only fifteen seconds, Atlas’ chest hurt like crazy. It was such a pain that it was hard to bear, even for someone who had walked and grown up in pain as much as he had. It would even be fair to say that his eyes were watering.
However, this pain ended after only half a minute, and Atlas took off his clothes and looked at his chest.
A tattoo of a crown sign...had formed on his chest, and when Atlas saw it, the tattoo faded. At that moment, two different system windows appeared in front of Atlas:
[King’s Might has been successfully absorbed!]
[King’s Might(Legendary+++++/Passive)
For a long time, the unknown king kept what he wanted to preserve, even in the grips of death, but now he has been erased even from the dusty pages of history.
Now this ability is all yours!
Passively, the user will be surrounded by an enormous aura that can only be recognised by high-powered individuals and monsters.
This aura is blood red.
Monsters that look at this aura will be afflicted with the {Fear} effect.
The Fear effect will reduce the monsters’ defence, strength and speed by 5%.
Fear effect will confuse monsters with a 60% chance.
This aura will be admired by high-powered people who look at it. The King’s Majesty is above all!]
Atlas had finally taken possession. He had stolen the ability that was in the hands of the Duke of the North in his previous life and managed to add it to himself. With it, he had achieved truly immense power.
He would be able to draw the strong to his side and weaken the monsters again, on top of all the weakening abilities he had.
Now Atlas didn’t need to stay in his room and do anything. There were plenty of things in his inventory that would give him dozens of ways to improve, but he didn’t need to care about that right now.
After all, he’d been away from his studies for a while, and he needed to get moving; even if it was now afternoon, he’d been sitting for far too long.
After standing up and stretching, he opened the door to his room and went outside.
When he went out, he saw several members of the student committee in front of him. Each of them was suddenly filled with a look of relief on their faces.
"You were in your room for a long time, young master. You have no idea how hard we tried to keep Lady Cordelia from breaking down the door to your room," Elise said suddenly.
Atlas smiled when he noticed the young woman and then said, "I was meditating, I’m sorry to trouble you."
Then, scratching his head, he said, "I must have caused a lot of trouble."
Elise couldn’t hold her smile any longer and said, "Since the presence of your sister Eva collapsed in the academy, we have become an academy that has become prepared for such things. Don’t worry, you will only be questioned a little."
Atlas shook his head up and down and then said, "Okay, that makes sense." and started walking. He was very hungry.
Several members of the student committee had left, leaving Elise and two other people with Atlas.
After the foursome had consumed their food in the cafeteria in a short time, Atlas was taken directly to Cordelia’s office.
Immediately upon entering the headmaster’s office, Atlas encountered several professors, including Dumgrith and Abraham. The professors had been summoned to the headmaster’s office by the student committee during the half hour Atlas and the others had been eating in the cafeteria.
"Well, well, well, look who it is," Cordelia said suddenly.
Atlas bowed his head respectfully to Cordelia and then said, "I heard you summon me, my lady."
Cordelia gently gestured to one of the chairs around the desk in the office and said in a rather commanding manner, "Sit down."
As Atlas sat down, each of the professors in the office moved to their chairs.
"I think you know why you’re here," Cordelia suddenly muttered.
Hearing these words, Atlas shook his head left and right and then said, "I have no idea, my lady, forgive me."
Cordelia smiled broadly at these words and shook her head while trying hard not to laugh, and then said, "Very well, my dear student, then let us tell you carefully."
Atlas had expected his head to hurt this much, of course, but he hadn’t expected to be surrounded by more than ten professors.
It was quite a new experience. Especially when one of them was someone who needed to be hunted.
