Chapter 70: Sages Will Take Care Of It (2)

Each of them spread their spells around and monitored the karma of those who were too weak to even be their enemies and sent the right people out of the cities.

Soldiers are moving out, and the karma of each one is seen by the Sages.

Talon, the current leader of the group, waited for the entire city to overflow and after a while said the following words that echoed throughout the city:

"If you have positive karma, have no fear, we are here to hunt down the devil worshippers. If you do not leave your homes, you will be considered criminals and executed by the hands of five of the seven members of the Sage Council!"

The voice travelled through the sky and earth and echoed across the land.

At Talon’s words, tens of thousands of people suddenly poured out into the streets.

The karma of each person became visible to the naked eye.

"From this day forward, you are no longer citizens of this kingdom. Those who have positive karma, those who want to learn how to become stronger, you will grow and develop with the opportunities we Sages will give you. From this day on, you will be citizens of the Epsilon Empire. These are the orders of Cordelia, the head of the Sage Council and the most powerful person who has ever lived!"

As soon as Juliet finished saying these orders to give determination, the sky darkened. In just a few seconds, as many people with positive karma had disappeared from the small city. The places they went were the places the Sages used as their territory. Even Cassandra’s territory was travelling by the thousands.

The rest were doomed.

Talon raised his hand in the air and said, "My name is Talon, known as the Sage of Earth. With the elemental authority granted to me by Gaia and the permission granted to me by Cordelia, the Sage of Eternity, I have been given the task of executing you. I wish your soul to be burned by Hades, and I hope that the death of Thanatos will haunt you until your soul is gone."

As he uttered these words, a ball of fire, perhaps as big as half the city, appeared in the sky.

"Devil worshippers, your execution has begun," Talon said. With his words, the huge fireball in the sky began to descend to the earth.

Every second, screams rose from within the city, and the sounds of chaos could be heard by everyone. However, it was too late for everything. The huge fireball had hit the Earth.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!"

As soon as the gigantic fireball hit the Earth, an incredible energy began to spread around. A huge cloud of smoke covered the entire city, and even the Sages could not see what was in front of their eyes. The Sages, who had immediately moved away from there, tried to watch the situation of the city from afar.

The sounds of chaos that had just risen had disappeared.

Juliet raised her hand at that moment, and then a large amount of mana spread around with air magic. The burning city was soon extinguished by the wind, and only a huge crater remained on the earth.

"Cain, is anyone alive?" Bellatrix asked.

Cain clutched his long staff tightly after these words, and his body suddenly glowed green. The green light spread for kilometres and then Cain uttered these words:

"There are a few. They must have escaped from the city."

As soon as Cain uttered those words, Bellatrix raised her arms into the air and sealed the huge area of almost fifty kilometres around the city in a sealing spell.

"They can’t escape now," Bellatrix said.

When Cain heard those words, he said, "They’re three kilometres from the west wing. Which one of us is handling it?"

As soon as Cain uttered these words, Juliet disappeared from where she was. It looked like Juliet was going to be the one to make the final attack.

In just a few seconds, Juliet appeared in front of a group of almost forty people who were busy running away. Seeing this image, the group members were frozen in place.

The woman standing in front of them was not an ordinary woman. She was a Sage. She was a person who managed to create exactly 48 magic rings around Magic Hearts. She was a woman who symbolised power and majesty.

It would be foolish to try to attack such a person; they had no choice but to wait for death.

Juliet was aware of this, there was no one she should care about in this group of nearly forty people, their death would not even make a difference in the world.

"I hope the gods and goddesses will be the ones to give you your punishments," Juliet said, and with these words, a small mana emerged from the palm of her hand.

As soon as the mana spreading outside turned into air magic, the bodies of each of the devil worshippers seemed to be separated down to their atoms until only their feet remained.

There was nothing left behind but the feet with blood spilling out of them.

Nothing but a good death given to the dishonourable creatures themselves.

After killing the devil worshippers, Juliet burned them with her flame spell, then returned to the other Sages.

"All right, is there anywhere else to go?" asked Juliet.

"No, nine cities, large and small, each one cleared out, their inhabitants transferred to our territories, a population of almost a million. I can’t see what Lady Cordelia is aiming for; it will be next to impossible to get the loyalty of these people," Constantine replied. freeweɓnøvel.com

"That is not for us to question, Constantine. Remember, it is not our place to question Lady Cordelia. Do your duty and shut up. It was our lady who saved you and killed the dragon emperor ten thousand years ago when you lost an arm on the mountain of dragons, when your life was targeted just because you were half-dragon," Talon retorted.

Bellatrix moved to the centre of the duo after hearing this speech, and then prepared to move by saying, "It’s time to report, let’s go. You two gotta stop fighting."

They had to get back to the Lady to hear Cordelia’s next orders.
