Chapter 98: Show Starts!

One by one, the students began to appear in the remaining twelve arenas.

Seconds ticked by and then the last two people entered the arenas. A student and Atlas himself.

As soon as Atlas appeared, each Sage remained where they were with excitement. Placing their attention on the young man, the Sages flew away from where they were. In the centre of the Colosseum, they paused over the area where Atlas’ arena was located and started to fly watching over him, he couldn’t see outside but everyone could see him from outside.

Of course, everyone was intrigued by what Atlas could do.

The fact that Cassandra had told Cordelia and the others how he fought, how he used his efficiency and speed, had excited them all so much that they didn’t even know there was a way to tell them directly.

Just watching and enjoying it all would be what they wanted to do.

Atlas took a deep breath.

As he stepped into the arena, a small goblin formed in front of him, it was quite normal, the beginning of the exam continued to progress like this every time.

When he looked at the ranking with his eyes, he thought that he had to pass the place reached by the twins, that he could pass it. Even if it was quite difficult, it would be possible to achieve this. Both twins managed to last exactly 15 rounds.

This meant that they had killed 16384 monsters in just one round. Add to that the monsters they had killed in the previous rounds, and only one of the twins had destroyed over 24000 monster influences.

Atlas, on the other hand, wanted to pass round 16, where they were blocked. This meant he needed to kill 32768 monsters and that means he needed to kill more than 50000 monsters in total.

He didn’t need to prove himself, he already had incredible achievements. The goal here was not to prove himself, but to show that he was better than everyone else. He was aiming to use every bit of his power...the best of the more than a thousand spells in his encyclopaedia of magic and his aura to the fullest.

He chose to take another deep breath, then, without even drawing out his holy sword, he lunged forward and, with only his bare hands, strangled the goblin like a brute and tore its head from its body.

When the beast turned to dust, the second round began. freewёbnoνel.com

Two goblin warriors had formed in front of Atlas. The spell Constantine had created controlled and changed itself according to Atlas’ strength and potential. Just like he did with the twins and everyone else.

When Atlas saw this, he pulled a small knife out of his inventory and without waiting, he lunged forward again, avoiding the attack of one of the goblin warriors running towards him.

Sliding across the ground, he managed to get between the legs of the other goblin warrior and jumped onto the goblin warrior’s back, then stabbed the goblin warrior once in the throat and jumped onto the other goblin warrior.

As soon as he jumped on the goblin warrior, he threw the knife in his hand right into the chest of the goblin warrior and then punched the goblin axe that the goblin warrior had swung towards him once with his bare hands.

The huge goblin axe was shattered into pieces at that moment, and the goblin warrior fell to the ground and died from the blade thrown at him.

Atlas had managed to mercilessly kill three monsters in seconds without using any magic or aura with his bare hands.

Truly speaking, everyone knew that this was, needless to say, unbelievable for a teenager.

As the two monsters turned to dust, Atlas became aware of the hissing sounds coming from behind him.

When Atlas took a few steps back and turned around to see the four monsters in front of him, he sent a confused look at the monsters and muttered, "What the shit?"

Four of the lizardmen that had appeared in front of the twins in their seventh round seemed to have formed in front of him.

Atlas wasn’t the only one surprised by this.

Constantine was smiling, and those who saw him continued to be even more surprised. His magic was special, a magic he had created after thousands of years to allow the possibility of training to exist. Sage of Illusions was able to create this perfection after all that work.

It was a spell that existed so that the caster could be prepared for any eventuality. If he wished, he could create a person he had seen before, up to the capacities they had learnt. It was a spell that allowed an illusion to turn into reality.

Constantine had created this spell differently just for this academy.

As everyone knew, the more powerful the person in this spell was, the greater the potential he had, and what kind of fighting style he had, he would bring a type of monster that he thought he could withstand against someone with that kind of power.

The magic itself was almost as if it were alive. This made it one of the few sacred spells in the world.

That was why Atlas was surprised. This alone was enough to show that his fighting style was many times better than the twins’ fighting style after two rounds.

The twins were surprised. It would be a lie to say they weren’t jealous, but it wasn’t hateful jealousy, but rather jealous that they couldn’t get such praise from a Sage’s magic.

After all, they had fought thousands of Wyverns, Eternal Droids, and even Small Hydras in Round 15.

Atlas, on the other hand, was not far from that side, if not too close.

An involuntary respect but a jealousy that suppressed that respect had formed in them. These twins, a boy and a girl, couldn’t help smiling.

"Unbelievable..." Thalia said suddenly, and even the High Elf Queen couldn’t help but be surprised.

Once Atlas had managed to clear his astonishment, he reached into his inventory and pulled out his Holy Sword from the small space opening he had made in his inventory with his hand.

He wanted to kill 4 monsters quickly.
