Courting Death System-Chapter 28: Apocalypse Shop Officially Open

[Ding! Since Host has taken over or closed half of the shops in the Silver Cities, the Apocalypse Shop can be launched on four graded cities, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond Cities!]

Jeff received many System Notifications while checking out the information of his new staff. Before this, he didn’t even have any staff and the Epic Shop was complete empty. He read the notifications and was pleasantly surprised by the rewards he’d received. The are five types of Apocalypse Shop Attire, Beginner Rank Attire, Intermediate Rank Attire, High Rank Attire, Advanced Rank Attire and Peak Rank Attire.

Each attire correlates to the City Ranks from Bronze to Platinum. These attires aren’t just a shop uniform, they hold immense amounts of power with them. This was how Jeff had tricked the Earthlings early on into working for him. The Bronze Attire made him look like a powerful person in the eyes of those around him.

These clothes also helped him better utilise his Authority over the shop and do stuff that his current level wasn’t able to. For example, all of his new stuff were at least Lvl 100 or above, this was why he kept the first meeting short because he was afraid of being seen through as someone who was actually weak.

Jeff quickly wore his new attire, it was a black, pinstripe, three piece suit with black woolen overcoat and a French berret. In this outfit, Jeff looked like a certified mafia boss.

"Shoppy, give me leather gloves to go with my outfit and a scar on my left eye."

Black leather gloves appeared in the air and Jeff took them and wore them, a menacing scar also appeared on his left eye, making his pupil a clouded blue colour. In this outfit, Jeff felt like a god, like he could destroy hundreds of planets with just a wave of his hand.

He then took out the Apocalypse Walking Stick which was black in colour but would constantly glow in myriad colours. If one looked closely at the walking stick when it glowed, they’d see that these weren’t colours but the depiction of birth and destruction of worlds, galaxies and universes and the colour black devoured everything like an apex predator, this scene kept repeating itself endlessly.

"Shoppy, tell all the staff to assemble at the plaza, I have an announcement to make." said Jeff.

The staff chatted happily in the plaza, over the past week, everyone got to know each other. Those who sold goods and didn’t provide services wore formal waiter and waitress clothes while those who provided services wore black cotton overalls while the ladies wore stylish overalls and t-shirts underneath.

"Morning everyone, I hope you’re all doing well today." said Jeff as he appeared from thin air.

The staff didn’t say anything but carefully studied the imposing man in front of them. The middle aged Caucasian male wore a French beret but had a fully shaved head, a goatee beard, a scar on his left eye and an overall dangerous appearance. He looked like someone who’d take candy from a baby just to make them cry.

In Lucius’s eyes, Jeff looked like a gang boss, the type that he saw in movies, the vicious and cruel kind who only cared about filling their pockets with money.

"I’m sure most of you were wondering when your shops would be open to the public and customers would start rolling in. I’m here to tell you that the Apocalypse Shop will officially open today." said Jeff while looking at the crowd.

He could see many Lvl 100 to Lvl 200 but Lvl 250 were very few. In fact, there were only five Lvl 250 employees and as the shop owner, he could tell that these figures were extremely powerful.

"The Apocalypse will be accessible in the Silver and Bronze Planes and the Gold and Diamond Realms. No matter how weak or how strong the customers are, no matter their background or status, if they came with money to spend, please treat them with respect. And with that... I ANNOUNCE THAT THE APOCALYPSE SHOP HAS OFFICIALLY OPENED ITS DOORS!" said Jeff as he slammed his walking stick on the ground.

And as he did so, he released a ripple that spread out in all directions but didn’t destroy anything here.

"Oh my goodness! Grand Laws! Did he just execute Grand Law Manipulation with a walking stick?" softly murmured the crowd.

In the Bronze Worlds of the Bronze Plane, in completely random places, space distorted then compressed in on itself, creating these beautiful marble-like portals.

Whereas in the Silver Plane, all the shops that Jeff had taken over or forced them into closing, these shops suddenly exploded, destroying everything around them. After that, space compressed in on itself and created the marble-like portals.

In the Gold Worlds of the Gold Realm, things went in a slightly different direction. In every area that was occupied by powerful living things, the marble-like portals appeared there so if there was an organisation with powerful members, a portal appeared in their headquarters and there was nothing they could do about it.

As for the Diamond Worlds of the Diamond Realm, things went in a completely different direction.

There was a place in the Diamond Realm called the Chaotic Space. This place was in a boundary between the Gold Realm and Diamond Realm where there was a constant clashing of energy and kinds of other factors involved. This place was called the Chaotic Space because of that and anyone who entered this place would immediately die.

This was also a place where one could come to comprehend or improve Laws and many powerful beings would usually meditate close to this place. Today was no different, powerful beings floated around in what seemed to be a nebula but this nebula constantly destroyed everything around it including space itself. These experts were meditating peacefully when suddenly, two illusory hands appeared from nowhere and moulded the nebula into a perfect sphere which then turned into a massive portal.

Places like the Chaotic Space were also referred to as Forbidden Zones but today, all Forbidden Zones were turned into spherical portals. The people meditating around these places tried to stop whatever was happening but they failed, they were completely helpless against the illusory big hands. After all the Forbidden Zones were turned into spherical portals, a voice with immense authority reverberated throughout the Diamond Realm and below.
