Courting Death System-Chapter 54: Aura Release:Starvation

"Loli, please schedule an appointment with the managers of this shop for me."

"Sure, just a sec...Alright, done. Your appointment is due a month from now."

"What? Why so long?"

"They have many appointments made already with other people."

"I see. How about touring the place then, since we’re here, might as well make the most of it." said Lucius.

The two ended up not touring the place. Turns out there was an amusement park not far from Yezi’s shop and they spent the rest of their day there. After that, they went to a nearby restaurant to get themselves something to eat.

"That was so much fun, especially the scary house. You should have seen your face when the ghost appeared, haha, classic."

The couple chatted happily while sipping some fine wine over a cosy table for two.

"Evening again guests, sorry to interrupt but I was just checking to see if you’ve decided on your menu." said the octopus waiter who wore only a bowtie.

"Ah yes, I’ll have the galigon ribs, czyon stew, bollom dipped fish with hot sauce and mash potatoes." answered Lucius.

"Alright Sir, what about you madam?"

"I’ll have what he’s having."

"Alright madam, your food will be ready soon." said the octopus waiter while refilling their wine glasses.

Soon, their table was filled with delicacies and Lucius dug in immediately and moaned with every bite he took because of how delicious the food was. The whole time, Lucius ate with his eyes closed. Lolitron also removed the silk mask she was wearing and ate her food.

But she only took a few bites of her food then stopped eating. Instead, she gave it to Lucius. Time passed by and Lucius finished eating everything on the table.

"Wow, that was delicious! Simply out of this world but the salt..." Lucius suddenly stopped talking because Lolitron leaned over and wiped something off his face.

"Lucius, I’m sorry. I’m truly sorry for what I did to you. Please forgive me. It wasn’t my intention to make you suffer the way you did so I’m sorry. I’m so sorry." Lolitron apologised while crying.

"Apology accepted but why are you crying? Apart from being lonely, my situation in that world wasn’t bad." said Lucius.

"Don’t lie to me."

"I’m not lying to you. I really wasn’t having a hard time in that..."

"Lucius, stop it! You were crying the whole time while eating. The salt that you’re complaining about is actually your own tears so if you weren’t suffering, why would you cry when eating. You were obviously starving in that place, all because of me and I’m sorry for putting you through hell, I am sorry."

"My tears..." Lucius didn’t know what to say so he remained silent. Lolitron also kept quiet and wiped away her tears.

Lucius was rudely interrupted by one of the customers that was sitting not far from their table. This man had the lower body of a spider and the upper body of a human male. His upper body was covered in thick hairs and he also had eight eyes and spider pincers, his overall appearance was ugliness mixed with terror.

[Shut up! Who fucking cares about your opinion.] said the spiderman after slapping Lucius to death. In fact, he slapped Lucius so hard that his head exploded like a watermelon. Even though Lucius was slapped to death, no one in the restaurant panicked or caused a commotion, everyone remained calm except for Lolitron.

Her eyes were opened wide in shock and her body kept shaking, her mind seemed to be failing at processing this information.

"Sir, the police are already on their way so please refrain from trying to escape because it’s futile." said the octopus waiter.

The octopus waiter didn’t respond but just disappeared back into the kitchen.

[If I scared you then I’m sorry. It’s just that this guy was interrupting us and I did what any sane person would do, silence him... for good. My name is Chod by the way.] Chod tried to explain his actions to Lolitron but Lolitron remained unresponsive.

[Waiter, I’m still waiting for that table!]

"I’m sorry to break it to you but a table for two won’t be necessary. But I do believe that funeral arrangements will be a top priority for you and your family." sounded Lucius’s voice.

[Mhm? So you’re still alive but no worries, I just have to kill you again to solve the problem.] said Chod while waving his hand to slap Lucius to death again. The speed was very fast but Lucius still managed to grab Chod’s hand and even crushed it which shocked everyone present.

Crack!

[AAAHHH!!!] screamed Chod at the top of his lungs.

"I think it’s a universal rule to not come between a man and his wife, especially when they are having a very serious conversation. You even went as far as to woo my wife in my presence, not cool man, not cool." said Lucius calmly but with glowing eyes.

[You weren’t this strong a minute ago!]

"Thanks to you, I’ve gained some strength, enough to deal with you but for your disrespect, I think you deserve more than just a swift death. This is my gift to you, I hope you "enjoy" it."

[Aura Release: Starvation!]

An invisible aura enveloped Chod and he was too busy enduring the pain on his arm to deal with it. Once the aura enveloped him whole, it disappeared and Lucius let go of the guy’s crushed hand.

[I’LL KILL YOU!!!] shouted Chod was attacking Lucius but Lucius easily blocked the attack again. Chod wanted to attack again but he suddenly became hungry. Not hungry in the normal way, hungry as in starving.

[So hungry... but there’s nothing to eat. I’m so hungry I could eat... myself...] Chod then proceeded to mutilate and gnaw on his severed limbs to quench the hunger but the more he ate, the hungrier he got.

He ate all eight of his legs then went for his spider abdomen, after the abdomen, he pierced through his human stomach, pulled out his intestines and ate them, the kidneys, the liver and finally the heart.
