Courting Death System-Chapter 85: Rus
"Captain, we’ve received life signals from Planet XX112, it’s eighty nine percent ocean and eleven percent land. We have reports that when this planet was discovered, Planet Explorers were sent to explore the planet but nothing was found, the planet was barren and devoid of life. I’m surprised by the life signals we’re receiving. Should we check it or not?"
"Let’s go check it out. Planet XX112 was once a planet that our ancestors once lived in and prospered before space exploration was introduced."
"Yes Sir!"
Two humanoid beings chatted with one another inside a massive circular spaceship. They looked hundred percent human except for their red skin colour and the golden third eye on their foreheads. The Captain had a moustache and looked middle aged while the other person looked like a young man.
"Wake up the others. Tell them to prepare for battle."
"Yes Sir!"
The spaceship then flew towards the barren planet that was visible from outer space.
...
"Oxygen levels are high, sunlight is able to reach the land yet there’s not even a single plant."
"Captain, did you really wake us up for a dead planet? I wanted to sleep for a few more years."
"Yeah, Captain, you must compensate us."
A group of about fifty five people wearing special, metallic suits and holding advanced guns explored the barren planet without causing. At first, they were cautious but after finding out that the planet was barren then they stopped being cautious.
<Life signals ten kilometres away.>
"Let’s go!" said the Captain and completely ignored their complaints. The team then quickly moved forward at incredible speed, decreasing their speed only when they were about a kilometre away from the target, then, they cautiously approached it.
Twenty minutes later, they stood about a hundred meters from the target and spied on it.
"Captain, it’s an Ancestral Human Species from a million years ago! I can’t believe it!" said one of the team members with address binoculars.
"What! Let me see that! Oh my god, it really is the Ancestral Human Species!" exclaimed the captain.
In their eyes, a browned skinned, blond haired and blue eyed male with a muscular build was relaxing in the Sun in the nude. He looked like a mixed race with both genes being dominant. The team then cautiously approached the human until he noticed them and woke up.
"Hello, my name is Kyro Bling, formally known as Captain Bling. We come from Outer Space on a Giga Planet called Taurus. Do you understand what I’m saying." said Captain Bling in fluent English. It’s not that he knew the language but that he had a translation device on his throat that spat out words in the language he’d selected and English was also recorded in the many languages he had.
"Yes, I can hear you perfectly well. My name is Rus, just Rus. Nice to meet you." said Rus, the naked man.
"Nice to meet you too Rus. Would you mind telling me how you got on this planet and what you ate for survival."
"I don’t know, when I woke up, I was already here. I haven’t eaten anything in a very long time." replied Rus.
"Can you give us an estimate of how long?"
"I don’t know but thousands of years ago, probably."
"Thousands of years ago?!" exclaimed Captain Bling.
"I didn’t count, okay, it may be more than thousands of years but something along those lines."
"I see. Then Rus, would you like to leave this planet with us but I’m gonna need a strand of your hair to check if you’re truly human. Is that okay with you?"
"Sure, I was getting bored anyways. Here, take it." said Rus while pulling out a few strands of hair. One of Captain Bling’s guys then stared at the hair, his third eye glowed and wrapped around a few strands of hair but then...
[What the...]
"What’s wrong?!" asked the captain while looking at Rus with a suspicious gaze.
[Don’t worry. It’s just that these hairs weigh a few kilograms that’s all.]
"A few kilograms?! Bring them over for a DNA Scan!"
[Yes Sir.]
The strands of hair then floated towards Captain Bling and he caught them and put them inside a small rectangular device. The hair was then broken down into smaller particles with the liquid the machine produced, after a few seconds, it released a number.
<99.%>
"Wow, so he really is an Ancient Human Species. Rus, we’ve completed your identification and we can now leave but to be sure, are you carrying any weapons on you?"
"No. As you can see, I’m completely naked."
"Okay, then for our safety, please wear these specialised handcuffs then we can leave." said the captain as another team member threw the thin handcuffs at Rus who then wore them without hesitation. After he wore the handcuffs, they tightened and pierced through his flesh, Rus then lost ninety percent of his physical strength.
Only then did the captain and his troop approach Rus, placing a small hexagonal device on his chest that then changed into a suit then they carried him and ran back to the spaceship.
...
Even though Rus had been tricked and was now physically weak, he didn’t have emotions of anger or betrayal, instead, he smiled the whole journey and even conversed with the team.
"Captain, the full body scan results just came back and he indeed isn’t carrying any weapons on him."
"That’s a relief. I don’t know why I keep getting the feeling that there’s more to this Rus than meets the eye."
"Obviously, how can simrjnr survive for thousands of years without eating? Even if he woke up a few days ago, the full body scan results show that he’s in perfect physical condition with only water in his stomach."
"Did you take samples of the water?"
"Yes."
"And?"
"Nothing out of place. There are no microbes inside the water and the water isn’t special in any way."
"I see, then let’s continue to monitor him and let the gang continue interrogating him."
...
"Are you expecting us to believe that you can survive for thousands of years with just water? We’re not children! If you don’t tell us the truth then we’ll keep you locked up in here for eternity!"
"Wow, you’re more beautiful without your mask on. I’m Rus and you’re... the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen in my life." said Rus with a charming grin. This person really was beautiful, red skin, brown eyes, black hair and a vertical line on her forehead with a golden glow, fully developed breasts and plump ass.
"Hmph! You think these little tricks of yours will work on me, sorry buddy but you’re not my type! Now answer the damn questions truthfully."
"What’s your name? I’ll tell you the truth if you tell me your name." said Rus.
"Juliet, now tell me the truth."
"Juliet, what a beautiful name, just like you. How about you and I have a private chat when everyone is asleep. Oh, and I drank water to survive on that planet."
"Aaahh! You’re so annoying!" said Juliet before leaving in anger then another person came in just after she went out.
"Another one. So, what questions do you have for me?"
"Not questions but a trade. I can see from the way you look at us that to you, we’re no different from food that bought themselves a few more days to live. I’ve seen carnivores and you, you seem to have reached the top of the food chain once upon a time. Am I right or am I right?"
"Hahaha! You’re an interesting one. Alright, you’ve got my attention but first, get me something to eat like you promised me and I like my food raw, with blood still fresh." said Rus in a slightly more serious tone.
The person then left, came back a few minutes later with a corpse of a creature Rus had never seen before but it resembled a rat with a protruding spine and segmented tail, also with protruding bones. It had six pitch black eyes, long and hollow ears, very long whiskers and four sharp teeth and sharp claws.
"This right here is the corpse of a creature known as Space Rats. They travel in large groups and target spaceships, their teeth can bite through even the strongest metals, they can hide in space and live in it for years. They are one of the few greatest threats when travelling in space. In exchange for this precious corpse, tell me how you survived on that planet, deal?" asked the man.
"Deal." replied Rus.
Then the man gave Rus the cow sized rat and Rus immediately jumped on it and bit through its fur.
"Use this to tear through the flesh. Normal teeth can’t bite throu..."
Splurt!
Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!
Gulp!
’Oh my goodness, what a powerful bite force that he has, only a few creatures are able to bite through the Space Rats with just their teeth.’ thought the person.
<Cedric, what are you doing?! Why did you reduce the Limiter! We don’t know what this man is capable of!> sounded the captain’s voice from the earpiece.
"Captain, I d-didn’t reduce the Limiter, I thought you did!"
<So you’re telling me that guy is casually biting through the fur of the Space Rat with a ninety percent weakened physical body?!>
"I-It seems so."
