After registering an alliance, Davis dragged his people to the mission distribution island.

Unlike the Alliance Island, the mission distribution island was populated. Many disciples still took missions. However, when they went outside, they used an Immortal King Grade Construct to traverse outside.

It could be said that they were smart about it, going to another region using an Immortal King Grade Construct.

Nonetheless, as Davis arrived and was forced to walk on the pathway by the all-powerful formation present, countless eyes fell on him, and so did some of their hands move as they took out a messaging talisman to share information.

Whether they were doing this to brag to their fellow brothers or sisters or was engaged in hostility that was driven against him, it didn't matter as he carried his foot to the third floor. It was empty, as usual.

However, there was a red-haired female receptionist here than the last time he visited.

"Welcome. Have you come to procure the Mercurial Blitz Ice Valley mission?"

"Indeed." Davis nodded slightly.

The red-haired female receptionist looked oblivious to Davis's identity as she smiled, "Unfortunately, the mission has just been completed by someone. But since the source has been found, a new mission is currently being distributed. Would you like to acquire the new mission?"

Davis blinked. Had Myria already completed it?

He shrugged and said, "Sure."

The red-haired female receptionist then elegantly moved to the side, took out a scroll from one of the many shelves, and extended it to him, sending it flying.

Davis caught the scroll and opened it, reading its contents.

"Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend...? It's the name of a savage beast?"

"Not exactly..." Ellia interjected, "It is a special lifeform made up of ice, somewhat equivalent to the Bloodsucking Vine Emperor you fought before but more powerful. After all, it can reach the Immortal Emperor Stage quickly if left alone in an icy environment and one of its dangers is that it creates an Immortal King Grade Ice Essence Orb upon stepping into the Mid Immortal King Stage."

"However, that Ice Essence Orb is extremely impure that if it is mixed with something else or explodes on itself, it is possible to create this kind of disastrous blizzard. But seeing that the blizzard is still lasting, I would say that it mixed with some kind of source."

"..."

The red-haired female receptionist was shocked at Ellia's explanation. She couldn't help but feel the other party was truly erudite, as she was right.

Davis also looked at the content once again and found that the source wasn't the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend but a natural windy gas vent that probably unleashed the disaster upon mixing with the impure Ice Essence Orb.

"It is through using this impure Ice Essence Orb that the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend grows quickly to the Immortal Emperor Stage. If left unchecked, it would have no more than fifty or sixty years to breakthrough to the next stage, but depending on the scale of the power projected by this source, it might even be faster, so the sooner the Aurora Cloud Gate acts, the better it would be."

Ellia further added, causing Davis to raise his head and smile at her. Reaching out his hand, he patted her head.

"I'm glad I brought you, Ellia."

"Mhm~"

Ellia lightly hummed in delight, causing the others to smile at them.

Nevertheless, lowering his head to look at the reward again, he was gobsmacked.

[50,000,000]

The reward for clearing the source has been increased by five times, becoming fifty million rather than ten million. Clearly, the Aurora Cloud Gate was looking at this event with watchful eyes. However, he didn't get it.

If the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend really does grow to the Immortal Emperor Stage, wouldn't the Elders be able to take care of it with ease? Even the Immortal King true disciples at the peak should be able to kill it once it stepped outside. However, with Tia's divination, he was able to understand that it didn't need fifty or sixty years to come out and destroy the island, but a few months or years were enough.

'Is this due to the windy gas vent being powerful enough to aid its growth quickly?'

Davis couldn't help but wonder.

"Oh, one final warning. The Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend is quite intelligent, so if it sees that it is in a desperate situation, surrounded by enemies that it cannot beat, it will self-destruct, trying to leave behind a seed for the future, but that act will blow up the region and cause more icy storms to appear."

"...!"

The red-haired receptionist went aghast upon hearing this matter from Ellia, feeling like she should inform her seniors about this matter. However, little did she know that the elders might already know about this matter and hence, issued an extremely generous reward to those that killed the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend.

On the other hand, Davis's eyes were also wide as he understood the scenario of Tia's divination.

'So no one was able to defeat it, and it eventually came out, only to be besieged by the elders, but it self-destructed upon noticing the despairing situation?'

He couldn't help but feel that he was not included in this scenario, feeling a bit smug about what would happen if he joined and killed it. Would the world finally look at him like he was not the one who caused disasters wherever he went?

Davis felt that it was unlikely as he smiled, "Register our names for this mission."

This new mission also had other objectives giving lesser rewards, so he felt that would be helpful for others.

"Oh, yes."

The red-haired receptionist came out of her reverie and got to work but halfway through, she couldn't help but frown.

"Wait a minute. If it's only you, the Emperor of Death, and your death-attributed wolf, I can understand as the prowess of you two is said to surpass seven levels. Hss... truly mons- I mean, divine beings. On the other hand, these people... they all have lower cultivations than required. I can't allow them to register this mission since the requirement is to have prowess at the peak of Late Immortal Stage at the very least if an even more powerful disciple is protecting them."

*Bzzzz!~*

Abruptly, Natalya and Tanya's cultivations which were suppressed to an extreme level, came loose as they brushed past the receptionist, causing her red hair to flail while her eyes went wide in utter shock.

"Are you convinced?"

"Al- Alright."

The red-haired receptionist felt like she had been slapped as she looked at his two women, wondering how fast these ascended mortals could cultivate as she saw that they were already at Level Four Immortal Stage. How they got to this level was beyond her, but she continued to fill the papers, letting them leave.

Davis got Nadia, Natalya, Iesha, Tanya, and Tia in, and since Threelotus, Lightsky, and Starlily weren't disciples, they weren't bound to its rules either. Except for Tia, who was a core disciple, the others were all true disciples. They had promoted themselves in the Proving Grounds as Nadia had the time to take and safeguard them with three doppelgangers in her arsenal.

She was literally the most hardworking and loyal magical beast and the most helpful woman Davis had ever seen when it came to survival, making him want to take special care of her later on as she more than deserved it.

Soon enough, they left on an Immortal King Grade flying boat that ferried them through the tumultuous blizzard, taking them to the Mercurial Blitz Ice Valley.
