Neil and Ileana slept peacefully inside the healing hut, completely unaware of the danger approaching them all.

During the middle of the night, his eyes opened and Neil was feeling way better already.

His wounds had mostly healed, his body was getting better and better at healing it seemed.

He glanced at sleeping Ileana in his arms, who looked even more beautiful and innocent.

Wrapping his arms around her tighter, Neil went through the loot he had obtained earlier.

He glanced into his inventory and found that the total number of Bogus was actually nearly 580.

The 1st Origin ones would just remain in his inventory, they were pretty much useless for him.

First he collected the shards, he had given some to Ray, with such a big army the food consumption was no joke.

Slowly shifting, he moved up and sat back, Ileana hummed in her sleep and hugged his legs.

Without disturbing her, he began to pull one vial after another and began to gulp them down.

’I will go check that place for a Link tomorrow, if it really exists then Magnar could evolve to 2nd Origin Diamond Class, he would be a great help then.’ While thinking he looked to the side.

Magnar was sleeping on another bed not too far away, this guy was just sleeping most of the time.

Many times, Neil even forgot he had a familiar.

After devouring the Bronze Class gene potions, he started drinking the Silver ones.

Which brought a comfortable feeling, each one increasing his strength.

The difference between Bronze and Silver was huge and then even more huge was the Gold.

After finishing all the Silver ones, Neil moved to the Gold.

He had really gotten lucky, obtaining so many things without as much difficulty.

As the energy from the Gold Class gene points spread through his body, Neil released a contented sigh.

Gold really made a significant jump in his strength, his energy cores and more.

’I have 29 Golds, damn killing them otherwise would have been impossible, thankfully killing Bogus is as simple as stopping their feet.’ Neil couldn’t help but smile as he enjoyed the feeling of getting stronger.

In this hellish prison, the stronger he was the higher his chances of survival.

Finally he drank the last vial of the Gold Class gene potions, blood rushing through his veins, and body strengthening.

’Now, finally, the Diamond Class gene point!’ He pulled out the last vial, the fluid inside glistening with a bluish color.

Just holding it made Neil feel its energy, he removed the cap and slowly swallowed it.

As the fluid broke into energy, a hot current ran through him, veins bulging and pulsating all over his body.

Neil trembled, feeling the changes to be more absurd than even when he had consumed the 1st Origin Mythic gene points.

But there was no pain, he felt extremely comfortable.

Sweat quickly began to appear all over his body, even the internal organs undergoing a rapid evolution.

It took a few minutes, before finally everything calmed down.

Neil panted heavily, his heart still thumping like war drums, the jump in his strength was quite big.

Neil had noticed, after arriving here he had stopped trying to find a way out, it happened so naturally he didn’t even notice.

There was something that wanted to keep them all trapped here, something that was stopping them all from going past 2nd Origin.

After thinking for a while, Neil just sighed and laid down.

He hugged Ileana, but his heart was restless.

The night passed just like that, thankfully he had Ileana with him.

Waking up the next morning, Neil was as good as new or maybe even better, all his injuries were gone, not even leaving behind a mark.

Kissing Ileana on the forehead he got out of bed, then went to take a bath.

Leon had already arranged the army outside the domain, as he waited for Neil’s command.

There were no guards from the settlement, Neil had told them he no longer needed their protection.

"Lord, what are your orders? Do we hunt those things that injured you previously?" Leon asked in a solemn tone.

"Huh? No, they are all already dead. Anyway, send the vultures out to look for any Links." He said, and walked towards the healing hut.

Before going on the search for the Link, he wanted to meet Ileana first.

The seductress had just woken up, she gave a sweet smile upon seeing him walk closer.

"Good morning, hubby."

"Good morning, I will be going out to look for a Link, so take care." Neil said, gently pinching her soft cheek.

All laziness disappeared from her eyes as she heard this, nodding she quickly got up.

"Be careful outside, remember that I am here, waiting for your return." Ileana said, as she gently embraced him.

After exchanging a few more sweet words, they finally parted.

Neil took Leon and twenty elven archers along while leaving the rest of his legion to protect the domain.

After charging up, the guardian also stood at the entrance.

Today the blizzard was so bad, nothing even two steps away was visible, it was extremely cold and wind hit like blades.

Neil had moved his domain a bit closer to the warmer side, so it was still better than what the people at the settlement were facing.
