Sooner or later she might not have been able to control herself from closing the distance between them and given Lukas’s lust, they might have reached a point where he would have tried something and she wouldn’t have stopped.

Both Emily and Elena were a little surprised. Emily had a little inkling but for Elena it was new.

"Sigh, I keep hearing things which make me doubt if I am living in a different world." Elena shook her head.

"Just give up on your original morals. Although I am the last person to say this but that is the only way and we definitely need more hands in this apocalypse." Emily said while reclining back with her eyes closed.

Lukas dragged two trolleys filled with food back home while thinking that sooner or later food would become scarce too.

Surviving without having a proper channel to obtain constant food would be almost impossible for the camps so how would they cope with it.

Farming is the only option but would they be able to do so? Farming just sounds easy, doing it definitely requires expertise.

The real problem isn’t even expertise. Once dead walkers become smart enough, will they allow growth of crops? Nope definitely not.

It will be a headache which can’t be solved unless you protect your crops against them constantly.

Was that even possible? Maybe if you have enough evolvers but currently he doubted any camps had enough humans to get that many evolvers, not to mention the rarity of successfully becoming an evolver.

Even the biggest camp here would have around only 50 or even fewer survivors. This is considering the average number of people who didn’t get infected in the initial wave and have survived somehow.

The future of humanity seems bleak but he had a feeling that it won’t be extinction of the human race and he had a feeling it won’t be just because of him.

While thinking he entered inside and saw that they were all still sitting in the living area with a little tense environment and when Elena looked at him she immediately averted her eyes.

’Should I take it as no?’ He didn’t want to guess since women are hard to predict and he was worse at doing so. It’s better to hear it from her herself rather than assuming the worst.

"Should I help in gathering food?" Emily said as she can drive.

Lukas nodded. "It will be better."

"I-I will do it too..." Elena spoke as she can also drive and her vehicle was still with full gas and in proper condition.

"Fine let’s go and gather as much as we can..." Lukas smiled as he saw her speaking while avoiding eye contact with him. It’s quite ironic since in the past he was the one who used to avoid eye contact since he never used to complete his assignments.

Slowly they began gathering food while Lukas killed and collected all the level 0 and some level 1 crystals. Level 0 is useless for him but his sisters and aunt need them, while he absorbed all the level 1 ones.

They kept doing it for a few hours and collected all the available food from the society they could get their hands on while killing as many dead walkers as they could.

After coming and storing all the food in the storage, Emily and Elena slumped on the sofa. "Finally..."

They had picked quite a lot of heavy food grain bags and it definitely left them exhausted completely.

"I should have come to help." Hannah sighed but due to need of using all the available space in vehicle for loading food , both her and Grace didn’t tag along.

"Tomorrow teach me how to drive, Aunt..." Lukas was interested in learning it as quickly as possible. "Here, absorb this. You all should get to level one first."

While killing the dead walkers he found more drops and there was one more skill orb in his inventory now. This was an uncommon Lightning element skill, a tier above the last water skill.

Nonetheless, it was still useless since no one was having this element among them.

He still had a rare skill box so he could get one skill of desire element and he was planning to give it to Hannah.

Light and Dark elements are the rarest and finding their skills in drops would be almost an impossible occurrence. Maybe in the future when dead walkers become stronger these skills would become a little less rare but right now he has to find a way to earn more of these skill boxes.

’If only I could exchange all these loots with some good item in the shop... it would have been so much wonderful —’

Just as he was thinking that while keeping his status window open, a notification appeared which was related to his thoughts.

Lukas got surprised before becoming elated. He sighed internally...’ It seems opening the Heavenly Catalogue is now the most important task’

Hannah, Grace and Emily looked at all the crystals placed on the table and sighed in amazement. There were a lot of them. Emily and Elena had seen him kill those dead walkers who had given them nightmares like nothing. He really was far stronger than the evolvers they had seen.

Grace immediately picked one and did what she had seen till now and felt the crystal melting in her hand. "Wow... it feels so surreal."

Lukas looked at her and nodded. "It is. Now absorb 20 each and get to level one."

There were total 63 crystals so they would get to level one easily.

"Also there is one more thing I want to talk to you all. I just saw that having five harem members is very important to access main features of powers so I have to find two more or... maybe one more if Miss Elena agrees.

Nonetheless, I have to go out in the search for someone since it’s very important as we can have desired skills and weapons once it is activated."
