His Witch Queen-Chapter 196: Capable Vampire

"You mean Princess Alice?"

"Maybe more than that." King Vilas muttered under his breath with his eyes narrowing under the beam of light. His focus didn’t shift from the main gates, in the hope to show the army he wished to see.

Whereas, General Shane could feel the shiver down his spine. Sensing the growing closeness between the Princess and Prince was still making him worried. Since he knew both of them belonged to different races, it would be highly difficult for them to cope up.

However, holding his breath at bay, General Shane didn’t bring his evident fest on his face. As he was pulled out from the daze very soon when he heard King Villa’s next words.

"Shane... come here." Hearing this, Shane stepped further to look where King Vilas had kept his stagnant eyes, "Yes?"

"Do you also see what I’m seeing?" King Vilas’s shutter tone made General Shane to focus. As his eyes swept across outside of the palace’s gate, he could see that at a very large distance, a crowd of people...

And to be specific, he knew what it meant.

A shock and surprise expression took over Shane’s face as his eyes bulged with pure amusement, "Highness, Prince Cyrus is back.... He convinced the Ontex Empire’s Kings?" General Shane can’t help but ask since he still believed it to be unreal.

But on the other hand, King Vilas’s shoulders were puffed in the proud feeling. He could sense that his decision was purely right. ’This Vampire is capable..’ he could see this on his face and this time, actions have spoken louder than words for him.

As Prince Cyrus and his troops approached the Palaces gates, King Vilas gave final orders to Shane with the evident shine in his eyes.

"Get our army ready, Shane. It is time for the Real Prince of Gazelle Kingdom to step in and defeat that monster..."

Alice and Cyrus arrived at the abandoned Castle where they had once taken the shelter while running from the Gazelle Kingdom.

But this time, they weren’t alone. With them was the army of the maximum people, mixed with humans and vampires. Along with this, there was a witch who was none other than the Princess of Suzania Kingdom too.

Since the news rushed to King Almen’s ears very quickly, they all knew that they didn’t have enough time to survive in this castle. It would be too difficult if King Almen decides to strike them unwantedly.

Currently, Alice and Cyrus stood in their chamber as Alice saw their huge army from the small window...

"We have to go today, no matter what Alice..." she heard Cyrus’s words from behind, as she rotated to look at him. "But,is it necessary?"

"It is, Alice. King Almen already knows that I have gathered the army. Chances are high that if we don’t attack tomorrow and knock at his door he will come tomorrow’s night to attack us without any call. This would be unfortunate because we have ladies with us too."

Cyrus tried to reason out with Alice and he knew she was at the back step in this. She won’t lie that it broke her heart into pieces. But knowing that it was the situation of war, she was supposed to keep her lips sealed..

"Then... Can I come with you too?" Alice tried her luck but failed when Cyrus looked at her with the obvious gaze, "You have more responsibilities and that’s why I’m asking you to guard the castle where we have all the stuff. If needed, I will ask someone to send you a telegram to come to the war place but it will not be my choice."

"But why!? I have powers too and I can be a great help!" Alice made a poor decision since she found no unreasonable reason for him to reject her.

But Cyrus was thinking more reasonably as per the circumstances that surrounded them.

As he saw that his wife was turning gloomy, he walked by her side to cup her face into his hands. He is wearing a war outfit with the steel plate wrapped around his body. "Love.. please understand. I can’t risk your life because of my family affairs."

"But.. I’m your wife with the vampire style too!" Alice’s eyes started to turn red, she wanted to be a help to him, not to stay behind in the castle with the ladies.

Even though she knew that their great assets were in this place that are the different kinds of arms, food for soldiers and other stuff, her heart didn’t let Cyrus go alone.

In fact, Cyrus was very well aware about this mere fact. Letting him go to nowhere else but in the lion’s den needed a courageous heart. And she, his new wife, was still very much wary from the situation.

Cyrus kept on caressing her face with his chin but didn’t let her escape. "I will be back very soon. It will not take much fo the time.."

"You know I’m afraid."

"No need to be. Your husband has maximum powers with him now." Cyrus muttered when he took another step closer to her and raised her chin to bring her nest his lips..

Similarly, sensing the proximity between themselves, Alice stood back on her toes to tilt her head to let and continued with the soft torture of theirs.

The kiss was simply an entanglement of emotions. Cyrus wished to absorb all her fears into his, and supply his positive energy via his lips. He wished to remain and capture her taste into himself for the time being which will also give him strength...

KNOCK! KNOCK!

The sudden noise pulled them out of their intimacy. They both lifted their faces to look back at their door, finding Kian standing with a powdered head. "Prince, it is time for us to leave."
