Chapter 503 - 503 Invincible: The Threat of Angstrom Levy, Another Universe, Omni-Man Escapes, Allen's Children and Evil Invincible.

(GDA Control Center)

Cecil looked at the screen showing the aftermath of the battle and its reconstruction. Part of his job was dealing with external threats: alien beings, interdimensional creatures, mythological entities, divine beings awakening from slumber, etc. However, seeing the destruction that a Viltrumite could cause in battle, Cecil reconsidered his views.

He had prepared a prison for Viltrumites, or so it could be called. Nolan was imprisoned in a structure made of a thousand tons of tungsten, unable to move in the slightest. If he tried, it would explode. If it were anyone else, Cecil would be sure they wouldn't escape, but Nolan was no ordinary man. Fortunately, from beginning to end, Nolan showed no intentions of moving or trying to escape.

Nolan had been there for over a week while Cecil visited him daily to question him about the Viltrumite empire, but Nolan refused to provide any information.

– "Even in this state, I still haven't abandoned the Viltrumite Empire, Cecil..." –

His words, full of determination, seemed tinged with exhaustion. Cecil tried sending Allen to talk to Nolan; perhaps he would share more with the one who defeated him, but Allen refused. He distanced himself from the matter when they intervened in his fight. If they wanted Nolan to speak, Cecil could use Debbie or perhaps Invincible.

With that in mind, Cecil grew frustrated and decided to focus more of his energy on reviving Immortal. After all, Allen might be the strongest human, but Cecil still desired more power. He didn't have what it took to face Viltrumites, and Allen wasn't always available. His best option was Sinclair and his ReAnimen, but Sinclair refused to create them, saying that humanity didn't need fixing if it could give birth to someone like Allen Walker.

– "Cecil Stedman, if I were you, I'd do everything possible to ensure Allen has children as soon as possible. With his personality, in a decade, he'd have hundreds, and those hundreds, in ten generations, would be the new human race..." –

At that moment, Cecil grew angry, thinking that Sinclair was mocking him, but in hindsight, it wasn't a crazy idea.

'What am I thinking?'

Cecil knew Allen's personality. If he tried to manipulate him even the slightest bit, Allen could snap his neck.

"Sir!"

Donald rushed into his office. The man was Cecil's most trusted figure, so if he was acting this way, it was for an important reason.

"What's going on, Donald?"

"Sir, you need to see this!"

Cecil was teleported to the location of the wormhole portal, which was originally designed to send Nolan to another dimension. The special team had kept the portal semi-active to ensure they could use it when needed. During that time, they received an SOS signal from the other side.

Cecil observed the portal, a large machine with an enormous arch. The GDA had been so focused on creating something to dispose of Nolan that they never considered where they would send him.

"Prepare a team..."

"Director, that's too risky!" Donald immediately opposed it. "If someone is sending an SOS from the other side, it's because there is something dangerous there."

Donald's words made a lot of sense, but Cecil needed to find something that could help him in this war against the Viltrumites, even if it meant taking a risk.

"Donald, I'm not reckless, but we need to do this..."

"In that case, we should at least warn Allen in case we don't come back..."

"I'm more concerned about something coming through that portal..."

...

While Cecil was investigating the other side of his portal, another one opened in Nolan's prison. The man who had remained silent lifted his head to observe his visitor.

"Nolan Grayson..."

Angstrom Levy appeared before Nolan. It was very strange that this happened, but this wasn't the first time Nolan had seen something like this.

"What do you want?" Nolan squinted.

"Please, don't look at me like that. I'm not your enemy," Angstrom Levy carefully chose his words, unsure if Nolan would try to escape from his prison.

"..."

Angstrom sighed, "My name is Angstrom Levy. As you can see, I'm a human with the ability to open portals between dimensions."

"I don't see how that has anything to do with me..."

Angstrom opened several portals to other worlds, most of them in ruins. This made Nolan's eyes widen.

"I know you, Omni-Man. Nolan, I've seen what happens when your loyalty to the Viltrumite Empire surpasses your love for your family..."

Nolan watched as another version of himself murdered his son. He thought it was an illusion, but the Omni-Man of that universe stared back at him, stunned, before turning toward the portal, which Angstrom closed.

"...!"

Angstrom looked at Nolan with sincerity, "I must say, this universe is strange, yet fascinating. After all, no matter how many versions of Invincible and Omni-Man I've seen... I've never seen an Allen Walker..."

"Walker?"

"From what I understand, he's like me, a traveler between dimensions. Naturally, he doesn't exist in other universes, but that's why I fear him. My goal is to help those other universes that have evil Invincibles and Omni-Mans, for that, I need the Mauler twins. The version of them in this world is intelligent, which is why I need them..."

"You want me to help you?"

Before Nolan could refuse, Angstrom interrupted.

"I swear all I need is for you to keep Walker from catching you long enough to get the Mauler brothers, that's all..."

"Why are you so afraid of Walker? He should be someone similar to you..."

"Because of his power. He has a power similar to mine, a power that would allow him to follow me to another universe. Something like that is terrifying. I don't know if I can trust him, as to me, he's a total unknown..."

"And if I refuse?"

"You know what I'm capable of. What would happen if I opened a portal for another Nolan to come to this world? One that might not be as kind to his family."

Nolan sneered with contempt, "What kind of savior of shit are you?!"

The source of this c𝓸ntent is freewebnøvel.coɱ.

"I am... desperate..."

Nolan thought for a moment, "It'll only be for a short time, I don't think I'll reach Mars before Walker catches up to me..."

"That's enough..."

What neither of them knew was that Cecil had entered the portal. Once Nolan was freed, he had time to reach Uranus before Allen even found out. Once Cecil returned, he immediately called Allen, but it had already been half an hour.

...

Allen flew through space as the system used satellites to track Nolan's direction, but Nolan was clever and, upon leaving Earth, changed course. Viltrumites didn't have Ki, Reiatsu, or magic, and Allen couldn't feel where Nolan was.

'This is unpleasant...'

Makima – Don't you feel like the world is trying to steer the plot?

Wednesday – Allen, use "The Absolute"

"...!" Allen released his Schrift, and although his power didn't have flashy effects like others, something changed.

Albedo – Allen-sama, I just had an idea! Since Viltrumites are a form of life, use their Chi to track him, you should be able to feel a creature with such vitality!

"Well done, Albedo!"

Albedo – Hehe, being praised by you is the best reward🖤~ Though I'd also accept warming your bed if you allow me🖤~

Rebecca – Bitch...

Albedo – Huh?!

Ignoring the argument, Allen immediately shut down his senses and expanded his perception. Behind him was a bright light, the vitality-filled Earth. As he traveled further, he could feel life on other planets, including Mars. Beyond that, far out in the empty space, someone was flying toward him.

"What? Why is Nolan making a comeback?!"

The density of this vitality was comparable to a Viltrumite, so Allen had no doubt it was Nolan. No matter what Nolan was trying to do, Allen went to intercept him.

"Never mind!"

...

"Cecil threw his phone to the ground after calling Allen. He'd been gone for only half an hour, and someone had already taken advantage of the situation to free Nolan and let him escape..."

Angstrom Levy had managed to take the Mauler twins without anyone stopping him.

"Ah~... it's been years since I've seen a place in such condition!..."

Cecil looked at the man dressed in prisoner clothes, watching the laboratory. "Stop talking, Sinclair. Make ReAnimen for me, and you can live in that world..."

"Haha, I don't need convincing. I've seen what the Viltrumites would do to weak humanity. With me in this world and the necessary materials, that won't happen!"

"I hope so, I lost a viltrumite we had captured by rescuing you.."

Donald was worried that this might not be the right decision. After crossing the portal, they realized it was Earth, but it was being attacked by the Viltrumites. In this world, it seemed Invincible never existed, and Mark was raised in the Viltrumite Empire, going on to conquer the Earth as one of them.

Cecil saw a message from Invincible, dressed in white, the same outfit Nolan had worn when he first arrived on Earth.

The first thing Cecil did was order them to find Sinclair. He would be lying if he said he didn't feel sorry for the fate of that world, but he already had enough on his plate trying to protect his own.

Fortunately, some of the GDA's facilities were still operational, and they were able to access the database to find out where Sinclair was. In this world, Cecil didn't know the existence of the Viltrumites, as Nolan had never arrived on Earth, and he hadn't seen the need to use Sinclair. Of course, the original Guardians who were still alive in this world would oppose it, considering him an abomination both morally and ethically.

With his identity as the director of the GDA, Cecil was able to enter Supermax of that world and extract Sinclair, bringing him back in less than an hour.

But it seems his good luck was used in the other world so that the Invincible soldier wouldn't discover him. While Cecil was getting other Sinclairs, someone had freed Nolan, and not only that, it appeared the Mauler twins had also escaped.

"Damn!"

...

Allen prepared to clash with Nolan. This time, he wouldn't be so lenient; he would break all of his limbs if necessary and make sure he would never escape again.

Unexpectedly, the one coming at great speed wasn't Nolan, nor even a Viltrumite, but the orange alien "John" the Alien.

"Buddy!"

John grabbed Allen, whose eyes were dead from disappointment, and began shaking him.

"You have to be careful; there's a dangerous Viltrumite in your world!"

"..."

Artoria – This alien...

Bocchi – It's too late...

Harley – It's late! Hahahaha!

Nokotan – He's stupid! NUNUNU~

Esdeath – We should beat him to death.

Allen snapped out of his disappointment and gave John a kick to the face. It hurt, but instead of getting angry, John smiled.

"By the way, thanks for not killing me last time; thanks to that, I became very strong."

...

Allen, feeling down, knowing that his quality time with Kate would be impossible today, decided to start a live stream so everyone could see the charismatic alien.

"Buddy, are you okay?"

"No... but it doesn't matter, just continue."

Seeing Allen's apathetic look, John proceeded to explain everything. He had originally come to Earth to test if they could join the planetary coalition. However, he had gone in the wrong direction, because the one who made the request was the planet Urath.

"They went crazy when they found out I came to Earth, it's a forbidden zone because a Viltrumite lives there."

Tony – This guy really took his time to say that!

PercyJ – That would've been so useful a long time ago... Hahaha

Ruby (Jean Grey) – Allen already knew that, but if he didn't, and had to rely on this guy's information, he would be really angry.

Allen looked at the alien with disdain, not only because of his actions but also because of the inconsistency in his words. When he met him, he claimed to know about Nolan's existence, and he had even fought him before, but Nolan had beaten him. So it made no sense that he now said he got the planet wrong.

Was he lying before, or is he lying now? Either way, John isn't as stupid as he may seem, maybe he's still cautious around Allen.

Allen shrugged as he tried to relax, "Let's leave the coalition for later, maybe you'd like to meet the son of that Viltrumite. He has the potential to be as strong as his father and isn't with them."

"Seriously?!"

John tried to grab Allen's shoulders again but received a punch in the face.

The alien clutched his face in pain, "Ouch! I've gotten so strong, but your punches still hurt just as much. How strong are you, buddy?"

"Don't act like an old friend, we don't even know each other well..."

The alien looked at Allen knowing that he should be more honest if he hoped to gain his trust, "You're right. My story is simple. My world disappeared, and my people created breeding fields to avoid extinction. I never even met my father... I underwent an experiment that made me what I am. I joined the coalition, and now I am trying to find a way to stop the Viltrumites."

...

McDragon – Wait! What's this about breeding fields?! I'm really curious to know the details!

PercyJ – Oh man... you really need a psychologist...

Rick – Oh, I remember those, they're the best... *Burp* like a big orgy- (banned for an hour)

McDragon – No!

Gwen – Had to do it...

MJ – You did the right thing -_-

...

Allen saw what had happened in the chat and refrained from asking, even though he was also interested in what a breeding field was supposed to be.

"John, I appreciate that you tried to help us, even though it was a bit late..."

"Don't worry, but be careful. Once they know what happened, they'll send more Viltrumites. They consider themselves the ultimate race, and they won't allow any competition."

"I'm fine with that..."

"Hey I have an idea, you can reproduce with the females of your species then we could defeat the empire with your children... ahh!"

Allen began to beat up John for his stupid remarks.

"Hey relax it was just a joke!"

...

Diana – No, I think we should consider this option...

Unohana – True, darling, if I had a reliable son to replace you at times like this, you definitely could've stayed home with a girl~

Emma Frost – It's a very viable option...

[I.M] "Before all of you express your opinions with no hidden intentions... do you really want our children to be used as weapons?"

The women who were about to speak fell silent, causing Allen to laugh.

Allen said goodbye to John and returned to Earth. Immediately, he headed to Cecil to find out what had happened. He was in a bad mood, so Cecil had to tell him the truth. However, when Allen heard that the Mauler twins had escaped, he immediately thought of Angstrom Levy.

Upon reaching the cell where the Mauler twins had been, he felt a spatial-temporal disturbance.

'System, can you track them?'

[Let me check... Yes, I can track the location where the portal was opened, but I'm not sure if he's still in that universe...]

'Do it, please'

[Of course~ ]

...

In an alternate universe, two people were fighting in the sky. One was Immortal, and the other was Invincible.

"I've been hit harder, much harder!" Invincible mocked.

"Just as arrogant as your father!"

Immortal struck Invincible several times, managing to make him bleed a little, but it wasn't enough. The fight between the two beneath the night sky shook the heavens. However, Immortal took advantage of Invincible's arrogance to grab him by the neck.

"You don't have to be so serious," said Mark.

"After what you did, after what they did?!"

Just as Immortal was about to kill Mark, Omni-Man appeared and severed his arm.

"Argh!... You!"

"Yup..." Omni-Man replied.

Immortal attacked him, throwing a few punches, driven by rage, but Omni-Man didn't seem affected. He grabbed Immortal's fist and crushed his hand, then, with a lightning-fast combo, cut off his head.

Invincible caught the head of Immortal and then crushed it. "He wasn't so immortal after all."

Omni-Man sighed. "Immortal lived for thousands of years and wanted to create a better world for humanity. It's a shame he couldn't see the light, like you, son."

Both looked at the burning city in front of them.

In this universe, as can be seen, Invincible accepted his destiny as a Viltrumite and joined his father to conquer the world, and they left it in ruins in the process...
