Chapter 505 - 505 Invincible: An Aberration to the World, A Ray of Light for Eve, Humiliating Invincible, Despising Omni-Man and The Viltrumite Elder Conquets Appears.
Is Allen Angry?
There are two ways for Allen to enter a world. One is by becoming part of it. For this, Allen must undergo some sort of reincarnation to form a connection with the world, perhaps taking someone else's place, or perhaps having his own.
The second way is how he entered Invincible. In that case... Allen is like an aberration to the world.
He comes out of nowhere without any consideration, interfering with whatever is about to happen, creating a future that shouldn't exist, arrogantly breaking connections that should have been and forcing others that never should have existed, selfishly tearing apart destiny, taking it for himself... without caring what others think.
In this option, Allen's actions are never governed by good or evil, right or wrong, but by whatever he wants to do. It can be a selfish, arrogant, and very dismissive way of doing things. However, whether this is good or bad... it's subjective. For a world like this, where there is no more hope, no more heroes, where there was never a happy ending, Allen could be the only thing left that truly opposes a miserable end for humanity...
Feel it with your skin... that faint breeze that wasn't there before...
Taste the wind... there's a mixed taste that wasn't there before...
Listen with your soul... it's not a sound but it touches a melody...
So, even if Allen is an aberration... he would be the only light for this universe...
...
The ground trembled slightly as Allen let his irritation out momentarily before calming down. The city was already very destroyed; Allen couldn't afford to fight in it.
Eve, Robot, Rudolph, and Angstrom caught up with him. However, they stayed at a distance, watching. At that moment, Allen looked terrifying, very dangerous. They doubted that if they got closer, he would kill them.
But even so, this world's Eve gritted her teeth and advanced, despite her companions' attempts to stop her.
"Eve... Invincible and Omni-Man could appear at any moment..." Robot also tried to persuade her to return.
"Samantha, it's too dangerous to be here!" Angstrom shouted.
"Wait," Rudolph spoke, but he knew it was useless.
"Shut up, we're already dead!" Eve's words were taboo, of course. Angstrom, Rudolph, and even the AI Robot knew that. Their efforts were futile; they had lost everyone, even Immortal had died recently.
If Rudolph had enough time and resources in the future, he could build robots strong enough to fight Viltrumites, but that was in the future, and that was something they wouldn't have because every day, every hour, every second, they risked being found by Invincible and Omni-Man. Not only that, more Viltrumites were coming, and over time, there would be more of them.
"Everyone is dead! No, everyone was killed!" said Eve with frustration. "If there's even the slightest chance to make them bleed, we must try, even if it costs us our lives!"
Angstrom Levy knew that Null energy would be a waste of time and wouldn't truly hurt Omni-Man, but even so, Immortal went with him, not because he had faith, but because living underground like rats, knowing that all their friends gave their lives fighting, was too unbearable.
They no longer tried to stop her, and Eve continued to advance...
Her legs shook, it was as if she were carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders just being near him. The air was hard to breathe; she felt like her soul could be shattered at any moment. She had never felt so weak, so insignificant, as she did now. However, she kept moving forward because, amidst all that overwhelming power, she didn't feel the slightest sense of danger or hostility. It was so vast but, at the same time, so harmless... like a sleeping monster.
Allen noticed Eve's approach but didn't want her to get involved any further...
One of the most tragic things that happens to this Atom Eve is that Invincible paralyzes her, condemning her to a miserable life in bed, while others care for her just so Invincible can visit her whenever he wants. She's not his Atom Eve, he knows that very well, but how could he let her suffer like that?
Suddenly, the weight and pressure disappeared, and she was enveloped in a warm, comforting breeze, falling to the ground from this sudden change.
"In this world, you're pretty stubborn too, aren't you?"
Eve lifted her head, looking at Allen's back, staring at the unknown figure. Eve smiled ironically...
"Sorry, I've become pretty harsh with others lately..."
"Don't worry," Allen smiled and glanced over at her.
Eve trembled, but not from fear; she felt embarrassed to be in such a pitiful state. She grabbed her own arm, diverting her gaze. "Who are you?"
Allen narrowed his eyes in amusement. "Is that what you want to ask?"
Eve bit her lip and then looked at Allen with determination. "What are you to me?"
Eve remembered when he touched her cheek, such a gentle and kind gesture couldn't be from a stranger. She didn't remember anyone ever treating her like that in her life; it was the touch of someone who considered her invaluable in this world.
Allen smiled. "Nothing, I'm nothing to you..."
"..." Eve lowered her head. She already knew that answer, but strangely, she felt disappointed.
"I'm an intruder, someone who shouldn't exist in this world. I travel from world to world, doing as I please. Even so, I try not to be a monster and a danger to ordinary people..."
"...!"
"A while ago, I came to a universe, and there I met a lovely redhead who became interested in my abilities. She was so sweet, following me everywhere..."
Eve's eyes widened, looking at Allen.
"Inevitably, I had to take her for myself..." he smiled mischievously, causing Eve to blush. "You're not her, you're not my Eve..."
"I see, you're from a different universe, you know me in that one..."
Eve sighed heavily. It was so strange. She had just met him, didn't even know his name, and strangely felt a huge envy for Samantha from that other universe.
"But... even knowing you're not my Eve... I couldn't stand seeing you so miserable..."
Eve looked at Allen, stunned. "You..."
"Don't worry, I'm going to destroy this miserable fate and leave you with a world where you can live..."
"W-what are you s-saying? fool Kuuh..." This Atom Eve was a strong girl. Even after seeing everyone around her die, she never gave up and only shed tears when Invincible broke her spine. But at that moment, she couldn't stop herself from crying, no matter how much she didn't want to. Her tears fell down her cheeks and then to the ground.
Eve tried to stop crying, but she couldn't. She had given up every ounce of hope and only hoped she could die taking some viltrumite with her. It was too cruel to give her empty hopes. It was too cruel at this point...
"..." Allen stopped smiling. He remained silent. His face was covered in shadows. Is he angry?
Let each judge for themselves...
Allen raised his hand. "Reparo..."
A shockwave spread in all directions. It didn't hurt anyone. The city vibrated for a moment before the most surreal thing possible happened: the ground, buildings, and streets filled with light and then began to rebuild as time reversed.
In all his years as an Auror, Allen had never tried to use magic on such a large scale. But this time, he did, maybe out of whim, maybe to declare his intent to Invincible and Omni-Man... or maybe he just wanted to comfort a girl...
Eve's eyes opened in shock. Her power also allowed her to repair buildings, but doing so with an entire city was absurd.
"Don't worry... I don't make false promises..."
...
Invincible and Omni-Man flew at top speed. When they arrived in Chicago, they encountered something absurd: the entire city, which had been in flames and rubble before, was now completely rebuilt, even the electricity had been restored.
Invincible removed his mask and rubbed his eyes. Omni-Man had a grave expression on his face at such an unusual phenomenon.
"It doesn't matter, I'll just destroy it again!" Invincible flew, breaking the sound barrier multiple times.
"Wait, Mark!" Omni-Man, with more experience, wanted to be cautious, but his son, after having dealt with all the superheroes, villains, and anyone with even a shred of power, had lost his sense of caution.
'Haha, this time I'll destroy it so much that nothing will remain... huh? There's someone ahead.' Mark opened his eyes when he saw someone standing in the middle of the street. He stopped because it was strange that anyone would still be here at this point.
"It's Invincible, run!"
"No!"
"Ahhh!"
The people, snapping out of the shock of seeing the city rebuilt, began to scream and run. Invincible, who was about to question Allen, crossed his arms, irritated.
"Hey, what kind of attitude is that? You should kneel and greet me as your master!" Invincible clicked his tongue. "Teaching you all will be harder than I thought!"
Invincible turned his attention to Allen, and at that moment, he also noticed Eve behind him.
"Eve? Is that you?! I've been looking for you everywhere!" Invincible smiled as if he wasn't the psychopath who had killed half of humanity, including his former friends.
"Shut up! Cynical bastard!"
"Come on, Eve, you still blame me? You know I gave them more than one chance to surrender, but they didn't take it~"
"You're not cut out to be a villain. You're too scrawny, and your voice is way too high-pitched..." Allen mocked, "You're not intimidating like that, kid."
Even though Eve insulted him, Invincible was able to remain calm since they knew each other, but Allen, being a complete stranger, irritated him. Plus, now that he was looking at him, it seemed like he was standing in front of Eve as if he were protecting her.
"Hey, Eve, did you get yourself a new boyfriend? I see why you reject me—you're into good-looking guys. Well, how about I fix his face and make it more fitting!" Smiling sadistically, Invincible clenched his fist and flew toward Allen to hit him with all his strength. It didn't matter who he was, it didn't matter what he wanted or his name.
"NOOO!" Eve created several shields in front of Allen. Seeing Eve protect him only fueled Invincible's rage even further.
Invincible tore through Eve's shields as if they were made of glass, and with eyes burning with fury, he reached Allen. "I AM INVIN-!!"
*CRUNCH*
Invincible recoiled, dragging his feet on the ground. There was some sort of protective coating that prevented the street from being destroyed once again.
Huh?
Invincible stared at Allen in shock. When he saw his raised fist, he realized that Allen had hit him. Eve stared in disbelief as Invincible was forced to retreat; she hadn't seen when Allen hit him either, only Omni-Man, who was standing on a building, managed to see Allen's stroke and was surprised at the speed. But even if Allen was an unknown superhero or supervillain, his end would be no different from the others.
'Maybe if we combine our forces, we could escape...' Eve was worried, thinking about how to make an escape, but it never crossed her mind to use Allen as bait to leave on her own. In fact, dying here fighting by his side didn't sound that bad.
A small breeze interrupted Eve's thoughts. She looked at Allen, and he smiled at her, "Have a little faith in me, girl..."

Stunned, Eve nodded obediently; this little interaction made Invincible very jealous, but he didn't show it.
Invincible straightened up, "That speed isn't normal. You must be a speedster. I thought there were no more of you, haha, at least it would be fun chasing you until I catch you, and then I'll rip out your heart in front of Eve–"
Invincible stopped talking when his vision blurred. He collapsed to his knees, unable to stand, his eyes bloodshot, and, to everyone's surprise, Invincible vomited blood.
"Son!" Omni-Man flew quickly toward his son. Robot and Rudolph readied their weapons, their intelligence allowing them to analyze the situation, and they saw that the chances of victory were finally not zero.
'Fall back...' Allen sent a telepathic message to the two of them. Eve was worried, but Allen remained in a terrible mood.
Allen observed the father-son duo and, without saying a word, disappeared. Omni-Man felt chills down his spine for the first time in a long time. He tried to turn around but he received a punch on the cheek that cleared the clouds from the sky and broke several teeth. The city should've been devastated by that attack, but the shockwave was absorbed by invisible walls that limited the avenue and the ground. Omni-Man rolled unceremoniously on the indestructible ground.
"Dad!" In a burst of rage, Invincible attacked Allen, but instead of a scream of fury, he let out a scream of pain.
"Ahhh!"
Mark's hand was shattered as it struck Allen, and he didn't even make him move.
"You're really Invincible? The one I know takes hits better..."
"You!"
Mark tried to speak, but Allen broke his jaw with a single movement.
"Don't interrupt me when I'm speaking... brat."
Huh?
Mark stared at Allen in disbelief. What had just happened? Why couldn't he speak anymore? Why did it feel like something was hanging from his face?
Invincible tried to scream in pain, but Allen's cold eyes froze him. There was no trace of the man who had just consoled Eve. Invincible began to tremble; the feeling he thought he would never experience again had returned—fear.
"Son!" Omni-Man shouted upon seeing what had happened and flew to attack Allen with all his might. At this moment, Omni-Man saw Allen as a threat and would do everything to kill him.
At the last moment, Allen grabbed Mark by the neck and used him as a shield. Omni-Man's enraged fist couldn't stop in time and pierced through Mark.
"Did you think I wouldn't use him as a shield? Do you think some mysterious power like fate protects him? Not in front of me."
While Invincible was pretty tenacious, Allen had also seen him saved repeatedly by the power of the script, but that's natural since he's the protagonist. If he died, there would be no story.
Nolan pulled his fist back in terror upon seeing his beloved son in that state.
"Ugh... gahh!" Without a jaw, Invincible couldn't even scream.
Everyone watched as Invincible was killed like an ordinary person. However, the next second, the hole in his chest closed up, and his jaw was restored. Allen threw Invincible against Omni-Man, and the force behind it pushed them to the end of the street. But instead of crashing through all the buildings and out of the city, they hit an invisible wall.
"Don't worry, Omni-Man, your son won't die that easily. No, I mean I won't let him die that easily..."
It was impossible. The world's most powerful beings were being humiliated, unable to defend themselves. Invincible stared at Allen in disbelief.
"This must be an illusion, Dad!"
"Mark?!"
"Look, I'm perfectly fine, just a moment ago, we were in an illusion!"
Omni-Man doubted his son's analysis, but objectively, it made sense. After all, what sense would it make for two Viltrumites, a talented young one, and an elite veteran, to be outclassed by an unknown human?
Wait, a human?
Omni-Man moved his son aside and attacked Allen with a serious punch. "Bastard, who and what are you?"
"A human..." Allen stopped Nolan's punch effortlessly. "Are you really Omni-Man?"
"It's impossible for you to be a human!"
"Not from this world, but yes, I am..." Allen dislocated his wrist, grabbed him by the face, and flew off with him.
"Dad!" Invincible tried to follow but was too slow. In an instant, they were already in space.
...
"Let me go!" Omni-Man used his other fist to strike Allen in the face but still couldn't break free.
Allen punched him in the stomach so hard that several of his organs exploded instantly.
"Urgh!!!"
"I met an Omni-Man before you. He was an excellent warrior." Allen's words were laced with contempt. "In an instant, he realized our difference in power, and instead of clinging to a direct fight like you, he chose a wiser method. He used momentum and gravity to increase the force of his punches. He took me off-planet...he tested my resistance to space. His attacks were aimed precisely at my vital points. He never wasted time, never gave up, and never showed weakness, even knowing the overwhelming difference in power... but you? You're trash."
Invincible arrived in space, only to see his father and Allen holding him by the face.
"Let him go!"
Allen looked at Invincible with murderous intent. Mark stopped, frozen, unable to move even an inch.
"Just watch Nolan... this pathetic piece of sadistic, murderous scum..."
"...!"
Invincible had to help his father, but he couldn't. How could he? The amount of danger surrounding Allen was too great. Even if his life was short and incomparable to the thousands of years of massacres of a Viltrumite, the quality of the enemies he had faced was too high.
"The Mark I know wouldn't have stopped..."
Invincible and Omni-Man understood. This man came from another universe, one where they also existed. But listening to him talk about them made it seem like he had faced them, and not only that, he had survived.
Allen mocked them and released Omni-Man but immediately kicked him, sending him crashing back to Earth.
"AAAARHG!"
"Da–"
Allen appeared next to Invincible and delivered a punch that broke his teeth, sending him to Earth as well.
"I'll give you a second chance. This time, use all your strength. Show me that Viltrumite pride you boast about..." Allen narrowed his eyes with malice. "Otherwise, you'll die without being able to defend yourselves!"
"Can I join too?!~"
Allen was about to follow Omni-Man and Invincible when someone appeared behind him. It was an old, muscular Viltrumite with crooked teeth, who grinned like a degenerate Sadist
"Conquest..."
"Oh, you even know my name~ That's nice~ Let's get to know each other better~" The old man clenched his fists and attacked Allen, pushing him into the planet.
Allen punched Conquest, breaking a few of his teeth, but instead of feeling pain, Conquest grinned even more unpleasantly. His strength was much greater than that of Omni-Man and Invincible from this world.
It was natural for more Viltrumites to appear, given the planet, but for them to show up at this moment was absurd. It seemed that Allen would have to face Invincible, Omni-Man, and Conquest at the same time. Certainly, Allen's strength was superior, but they outnumbered him.
"Now this is what I like! Conquering humanity wouldn't be fun if there wasn't resistance!"
"Stay away..." Allen growled, shoving Conquest away with a punch that broke his nose, but he recovered quickly.
"DON'T SAY THAT! YOU'RE MAKING ME SO HAPPY!❤️~"
"You disgusting old man..."
