Chapter 112: Killing Another Legendary Creature!

As the flames began to die down and thick black smoke billowed outward, Vogue saw something emerge from the center of the blast zone.

It was the silver ape, but its body had changed dramatically.

The creature had actually grown even larger. It was now approximately five meters tall, nearly twice the height of a normal human. Its muscles had become even more defined and powerful, bulging beneath its silver fur like steel cables wrapped in metal. The strength radiating from its body was at an entirely different level than before.

Vogue’s experienced eyes immediately recognized what he was looking at. This beast was now operating at the peak of the Savage Realm, which meant it possessed power equivalent to a peak Lower Moon Stellar Knight.

The explosions that should have killed or at least severely injured the creature had instead triggered some kind of evolution or transformation, making it even more dangerous than before.

Vogue’s face changed drastically as this realization hit him. Before he could react or retreat, the beast moved.

It appeared before him in a flash, crossing the distance between them faster than his eyes could track even with his enhanced perception.

"Bang!"

The ape’s massive fist came forward in a straight punch that hit Vogue directly in the head and upper chest.

Vogue’s entire head exploded like a watermelon being struck by a sledgehammer. His skull shattered completely, brain matter spraying in all directions. His chest cavity collapsed inward, ribs breaking like twigs, heart and lungs crushed to paste by the devastating impact.

Only his waist and legs remained standing, held upright purely by muscle tension. The headless, upper-torso-less body swayed slightly to one side from the force of the blow.

But then, impossibly, the legs shifted and centered themselves, standing perfectly balanced despite having no upper body to coordinate the movement.

The silver ape glanced down at the half-body with mild interest, but then dismissed it as no longer a threat. It turned away and walked calmly toward the clone that was still undergoing its awakening, lying unconscious on the rubble where Vogue had dropped it.

The ape reached down with one massive paw and grabbed the defenseless clone by the waist, lifting it up easily. It opened its jaws wide, revealing rows of sharp teeth, and brought the clone toward its mouth. It was about to bite down and consume the awakening body when something unexpected happened.

The clone’s eyes suddenly snapped open wide.

"Ice Palace!" the clone shouted, its voice strong and clear despite having been unconscious moments before.

The temperature plummeted instantly to far below freezing. The entire area within a fifty-meter radius turned into solid ice in the span of two seconds.

The silver ape’s body was covered in thick sheets of pure ice that formed so fast the creature had no time to react or resist. The ice encased it completely from head to toe, freezing it solid in mid-motion with its mouth still open and the clone still held in its paw.

The clone had successfully awakened its third dragon head—the Fire Dragon. But the awakening had somehow enhanced and amplified all of the existing ice abilities as well, making them far more powerful than before.

The clone’s body began transforming. Its two existing wings—one silver and one blue—remained on its back, but underneath each of those wings, another single wing began emerging. A third wing pushed out from beneath the blue Frost Dragon wing, this one burning with flames that somehow didn’t melt the ice around it.

Then something even more dramatic happened. A lump appeared on the clone’s shoulder, growing rapidly larger. Within seconds, it had formed into a second complete head growing from the same neck.

The clone was now a two-headed dragon-human hybrid. One head looked mostly human with Vogue’s features, while the second head was more draconic with elongated jaws and glowing eyes. Both heads moved independently, able to look in different directions and speak separately.

This was the true power of the Ancient Nine-Headed Primordial Dragon Physique beginning to manifest physically.

At that exact moment, the ice encasing the silver ape started cracking with loud snapping sounds. Fractures spread across the frozen surface as the legendary creature’s tremendous strength began breaking through the prison.

The two-headed Vogue clone quickly pulled itself free from the ape’s frozen grip, wiggling out from between the massive fingers before they could close again.

But the ape’s mouth was still open wide from when it had been about to bite down. That opening gave Vogue an idea.

He severed six of his fingers rapidly with his claws. He threw five of them directly into the ape’s open mouth, the small pieces of flesh flying between its frozen teeth and landing in the back of its throat. He threw the sixth finger as far as he could in the opposite direction, sending it tumbling down the street and out of range.

The ice finally cracked completely. Large chunks fell away as the silver ape broke free with a mighty roar of fury and pain.

But something was wrong. The ape’s roar quickly turned from anger to agony. Its belly began expanding rapidly, swelling outward like a balloon being inflated. Bulges appeared all over its torso as things moved and grew inside it.

The five fingers that had landed in its throat had already transformed into five full-sized clones, and they were growing to full adult human size while still inside the ape’s stomach and intestines. They were tearing the creature apart from within, their expanding bodies rupturing organs and breaking bones from the inside out.

"Explode," Vogue commanded coldly.

He and all five clones growing inside the ape’s body detonated simultaneously.

The explosion that followed was muffled by the ape’s flesh, but no less devastating. The creature’s entire torso erupted outward in a shower of blood, organs, and bone fragments. Its massive body was torn apart from the inside, the internal explosion having nowhere to go except through the thick muscle and hide.
