"5 Levels?!" Alchemy’s hummed happily.

"No, probably a bit more, considering the banked EXP. Ugh... Guess I actually have to reach a Tier 2 Civilization. That... Can wait a bit, though; I need to plant the tree before I ascend anyway."

She hadn’t read the requirements to reach Tier 2 Civilization, but she remembered the criteria, assuming they hadn’t changed. That was why she wanted to get the World Tree down as soon as possible.

Even if it did change, she doubted it’d become easier.

’Ugh. One thing at a time. New skill, then Nera’s ascension.’ Alchemy thought, grabbing the Prospect Skill Shard from the storage.

The final type of Skill Shard that could be obtained. It was the worst since only Alchemy or other Prospects could use it. Still, Alchemy wasn’t going to say no to a new skill.

"Eh? Isn’t this really strong for a level 1 skill?" Alchemy questioned.

She wanted to jump for joy, but these numbers were too ludicrous.

The 30% was nice enough, but what she was really interested in was the 50% bonus damage. This skill gave her a reliable enough range option if she wanted, but her damage output skyrocketed for free if she was fighting in close quarters like usual.

She wasn’t that surprised after the system gave Nera an Exclusive skill because it thought she was cute or something, and Alchemy wouldn’t complain about having another strong skill.

"Cool, this solves my problem with offense for a while. Status."

With all of that sorted, Alchemy left her tribal tent and sought out Nera, who wasn’t far.

"Yo, you ready?" She asked, approaching Nera and Sapphire.

"Yes, Mother Goddess!"

"I seriously don’t get why this stupid system asks when there is no downside to becoming a Hero... Right, System?"

"So there will be if it isn’t Nera?" Alchemy sighed and pressed yes.

Much like the time at her birth, a bright light engulfed Nera, attempting to blind anyone who dared look.

"Flashy."

Inside the orb of light, Nera’s body began to change. She grew taller and her arms longer. Her antennae became more pronounced, and her hair went from snow white to a shiny silver. Her skin color also gained a bit of pigment, becoming closer to human skin.

Although she was still abnormally pale, she could pass as a human if she wore glasses and something over her wings.

Touching the edge of the orb she was in, Nera realized it was solid.

Entering her gigantic form, which had become a whole meter taller, she smashed her fist into the light which was trapping her, and cracked it.

She punched again, this time her arms going straight through.

Nera grabbed the shell and tore it open, revealing her gigantic form and releasing her back into the world.

Looking down at Alchemy and Sapphire, who looked back up at her, Nera smiled.

"Nera, The Sky King, greets the Seraphim Verminae."

"Haha... You’re more of a show woman than I am, Nera. How does being a true Hero feel?"

"It feels." Nera paused, returning to her Netural form.

"Amazing! I feel like I could defeat the entire world!"

Alchemy looked at Nera, who now looked almost like a gorgeous human in their prime years. Around 23 or 24 years of age?

Her eyes briefly stopped on Nera’s chest, which had also grown considerably, and she glared for a few moments before turning her attention elsewhere.

Nera thought she saw that, but she chalked it up to her imagination. There was no way her Mother Goddess would be jealous of something as superficial as flesh.

"Well, I’m glad to know that if the world launches an attack at me, you’ll be there to protect me," Alchemy chuckled, making fun of Nera’s over-exaggeration of her strength.

"So, how’s the status looking?"
