"Holy... All of your stats just increased by 50 for fun, I guess?"

Alchemy also noticed Nera’s new Faction and Title. Both gave various benefits depending on what they were.

Alchemy had checked hers a while ago, but all the buffs from her Title were gone, and her Faction gave her all the standard Divinity stuff and the extra Verminae effects.

D.O.Ts can’t kill her; she uses SP and Divine Power, access to the pseudo-hivemind, and she does not need to eat so long as the Verminae eat. Nothing new or interesting.

Nera’s, however, was a different story.

’Enemies of the Verminae. So anyone who declares war on our kingdom or has ill intentions towards me, the queen bee.’ Alchemy hummed before looking at her Title.

It was a simple bonus, but any resistance to magic was a much-needed boon. Not to mention that it synergized with Alchemy’s Supplication skill amazingly.

Alchemy nearly fell back at the sight of the effects of Sky King.

"Nera... Are we 100% sure you’re a normal Hero? W-What am I looking at?" She could barely speak properly.

Suddenly, she thought the new skill she got was not that overpowered.

"What do you mean?" Nera questioned before looking at her title.

Then she, too, was at a loss for words. It was her title, and she didn’t know how to react.

"I-I’m... I’m not sure... Maybe ask the System?"

"Uhm... I don’t get it. Is Miss Nera’s new stuff good?" Sapphire asked.

"Good is an understatement. I’m not entirely convinced she’d lose to Gravana now..." Alchemy said.

A hyperbole, for sure, but if she managed to break one of Gravana’s arms before she leveled up, what kind of damage could she cause now that she had evolved?

"Hehe... Who’s the big sis now, Sapphi!" Nera teased, crouching down with her new body and hugging the deer.

"With this, I can easily protect both you and Mother Goddess, can’t I?"

"Protecting me is good and all, but make sure you get used to your new abilities."

"Yes, Mother Goddess!" Nera saluted.

"Right then. Next was the tree."

|<Grace Synergy: For 1 Divine Power, a World Tree Sapling can be created and then planted. Nurture it for amazing rewards at every stage of growth!>|

|<Ruinous Bloom Synergy: When Ruinous Bloom is Active, nearby Mana or Demonic Energy is converted into Divine Power. 90% Of this is used to fuel the skill, and the remaining 10% Is transferred directly to the World Tree!>|

The World Tree. It was an alternative method of growing a Theocracy. Instead of focusing on buildings and infrastructure like a normal Civilization does, the World Tree shifts that focus to population, happiness, and strength.

This was perfect for the Verminae, who had large numbers and undying loyalty, but Alchemy still wasn’t a massive fan of the World Tree route.

In her hands, a small acorn appeared.

"Haah... Once I plant this I will have to protect it with my life. It’s gonna be a hassle, but it’s probably worth it." Alchemy sighed.

When the World Tree was destroyed, the prospect who planted it would get severe permanent debuffs. The debuffs and the exact amount varied depending on the growth stage of the tree, but there were some bad ones at every stage.

Permanent D.O.T damage in the form of rot, reduced resistance to disables like stuns or roots, loss of senses, etc.

The specific debuffs chosen are randomly selected from a number of possible options, making it even worse as she couldn’t properly prepare for any specific ones.

The rewards were naturally worth the risk, but Alchemy hated babysitting the Divine Tree. However, she wasn’t nearly as worried with a hero as powerful as Nera.

"Then... How about we put you next to the river?" Alchemy hummed, walking over toward the river.

This distance wasn’t nearly enough as the tree grew massive, but it’d do for now.

The seed flew out of Alchemy’s hand and buried itself in the ground.
