"Please tell me I have enough." Alchemy pleaded, opening up her storage.

"But there goes all my resources... Again." She sighed.

When she saw that she barely had enough Stone, Alchemy could only lament that there wasn’t a single cave anywhere near her territory.

The second layer of the forest probably had plenty of resources, but she couldn’t just march her Verminae there. It was the same reason she didn’t consider bringing the Mint Lion corpses back.

Even if getting them there and back unharmed was possible, it took too much Divine Power. Nera could escort them, but having Nera away from the Territory for that long was its own separate issue.

At least she could get ores from Gravana and the Ore Dwellers, but the amount would stop being enough extremely quickly.

Confirming that she wished to build the Chitin Forge, she was prompted by the system asking which materials she wanted to use. Since it didn’t matter much, she chose the 19 units of tin and 1 unit of Copper.

Much like her other building, she’s placed the forge somewhat haphazardly.

"I need to acquire a blacksmith or two. The to-do list just keeps increasing."

Luckily, now that she had a reasonably sized construction force, the 30-hour timer was reduced to 27. It was not much, but it was a start.

"Oh yeah! My Faith surpassed 50, I can just evolve."

|<You meet all the requirements to Evolve your Existence Tier. Would you like to Evolve from an Adolescent Divinity to a Pseudo-Perfected Divinity Y/N>|

Alchemy pressed yes.

Once again, Alchemy was engulfed in a flash of light. Unlike Nera, her exit was neither dramatic nor slow, as the light swallowed her up, only to let her out moments later.

Even more unlike Nera, her appearance barely changed; the only thing that did was that her wings became slightly larger and more pronounced. However, they were still not large enough to allow for flight, at least not realistically.

She was a little disappointed by this. She did want to keep her human appearance. It was what she was used to, and it was helpful for her eventual and inevitable encounters with humans. Still, she wanted to gain some nifty utility, like antennae or extra eyes.

Speaking of antennae, though, her senses did seem sharper. When she grabbed her own hand, the feeling was so much more vivid than before. She could hear her Verminae and other small insects from much further away.

She couldn’t tell if her sense of taste increased, and she quickly noticed that her eyesight didn’t get any better. But her other useful senses were at least enhanced!

’I’m going to gain so much Divine Power tonight. Holy cow.’ She smiled like a child.

"Alright. I’m gonna call it for the day and go start spawning flowers in the hut. Uh, if they’re in the way, just destroy them. Okay, good night."

Alchemy stretched as she looked up at the sky. It was about 6 PM. It was still a bit early for her to head in for the night, but without much else to do, she wanted to get back to meditating and increasing her Faith stat.

After Alchemy began sitting on her throne, she activated her Ruinous Bloom Skill, letting it consume her SP.

Those familiar dancing lights appeared in the darkness when the first flower bloomed.

Their number was larger than the first time, as Ruinous Bloom consumed more SP than her chains. While the initial number was higher, the speed at which the lights increased was significantly slower due to the time between the flowers being created.

That was fine, though, since Alchemy couldn’t do anything with all of the lights either of the two past times she entered into this state.

She didn’t really understand what had allowed her to enter this state, but it was like the Divine Power was trying to communicate with her. What that meant was still to be seen, but that’s what it felt like in this state.

She and the numerous lights continued their little game of cat and mouse from before. Instead of trying to capture them this time, however, she guided them closer to her. Slowly and gently.

The lights, which previously ran away from her at all costs, began to halt their escape. It hadn’t stopped entirely; they still seemed frightened of Alchemy, but less so.
