Chapter 91: Chapter 91: Caras, The Forsaken Knight of the Lost King(2)

Before anyone could blink, Caras appeared in front of them, slashing diagonally at Alchemy.

Narrowly, she bent over backward to avoid the slash; her bangs got cut evenly.

The knight tried to follow that attack up, but Gravana’s massive arm slammed into his stomach, sending him up into the air.

Nera, shifting into her Gigant Form, continued the attack, spiking Caras into the ground like a volleyball.

Leaping into action, Alchemy came from above, twirling through the air as she slammed into the ground.

Caras had rolled out of the way to dodge her attack, but the force behind the punch, plus the second attack from Razor Surge, caused the ground to shake and create a crater larger than her entire body.

"Fast freak." Alchemy scoffed.

While she activated Ruinous Bloom, Gravana and Nera continued the assault. The knight skillfully dodged the prior’s fist just to get hit by the latter.

Each successful hit of Nera’s caused a small shockwave, generating a Scale that hovered around her arm. Three stacks currently hovered around her arm.

"That red thing above his head! Is that how close he is to death?" Gravana questioned.

"Yeah! Keep an eye on it. He might change tactics after it gets low enough!" Alchemy explained as she came in low with an attack.

As they talked about the boss’s health, they could only quietly lament how slowly it was going down. They’ve been beating on the boss non-stop, yet his health bar has only dropped by about 20%

The knight was caught off balance by the others’ attacks and was forced to block Alchemy’s attack with the flat awkwardly. This allowed her to thrust herself onto the back of his head, attempting to snap his neck.

"YOU INGRATE!" Caras shouted, the power of which sent Alchemy flying through the air and even forced Gravana and Nera back.

The latter of the group was the first to recover. She rushed in with a large log and forced it into Caras.

Caras parried the attack with both sides being thrown away, only for Gravana to come in with his elbow as if he was cosplaying as a ballistic missile. He dragged the knight all the way into the wall, continuing to pummel him.

"Grahaha! Is that all you got, Knight?! Come on, you’re not even comparable to the little shapeshifter!"

"TRAITOR!!!"

Suddenly, Caras stopped flinching at Gravana’s hits and looked the large werewolf in the eyes. The once-empty sockets in the knight’s helmet began to glow red.

Realizing something was wrong, Gravana tried to jump away, but Caras struck him with the pommel of his blade, sending him through two pillars and into the wall on the other side.

As he hit the wall, Gravana coughed up blood. That one attack brought him down to half hp.

Nera also tried to attack, but the attack was immediately returned, dealing at least double the damage back to her.

"Nera! Teacher!" Alchemy shouted, destroying three of the Ruinous Bloom flowers to heal them up.

When Caras exited the hole in the wall, his head tilted to a disturbing angle as he rushed toward Alchemy.

Focusing solely on dodging Caras’s superior speed, she used the blades from Razor Surge to try adding damage, but the amount was negligible when she wasn’t actually hitting him.

After what felt like an eternity of dodging, Alchemy appeared to slip up, and Caras gladly took the chance to kick her in the stomach.

Right as Alchemy was hit, a dull glow began encompassing her body, and a massive smug grin appeared on her face. All while the glow in Caras’s eyes flickered out, vanishing as if it had never been there in the first place.

As she flew through the air, she readjusted herself and shouted.

"A reflection skill, huh? When his eyes glow red, don’t attack. Just wait it out!"

Luckily, the pain from being punched and kicked across long distances was something she was becoming quite used to. Alchemy was sure the attack was stronger than what Gravana hit her with during training, yet it felt so much lighter for some reason.

Nera acknowledged Alchemy’s words as her stats increased from Supplication. The unexpected increase in her speed caused Caras to be surprised, as she landed her 10th solid hit.

"This power! So you used this during our battle to suddenly increase your power?! You never cease to amaze me, Disciple!" Gravana cheered as he felt the effects of supplication increase his power by nearly double.

At the same time, Gravana lunged at Caras with all his might, slamming the knight into the ground repeatedly.

If it wasn’t for his fur being a slightly softer shade of green, Gravana could’ve been easily confused with another large green mutant.

Caras quickly pushed Gravana off and tried to slash at him, but Gravana locked their hands together, forcing them into a contest of strength.

Using the opening created, Alchemy and Nera leaped into the fray.

Nera had long branches of wood in each of her four hands, each reinforced with Divine Energy that slashed into Caras.

Alchemy matched Nera, slamming her arms into the knight, knocking his helmet off his head, and dropping his health below 50%!

"USELESS PAWNS AND THEIR QUEEN! BEGONE FROM MY SIGHT!"

As Caras’s screams grew louder and more anger filled, he dropped his sword. However, instead of hitting the ground, it began to float, cutting at Gravana’s arms. If he hadn’t released Caras and punched him away quickly enough, Gravana would have become an amputee.

"YOU! YOU ALL WILL KNOW OF THE ETERNAL NIGHTMARE THAT MY KING HAS SUFFERED!"
