Legacy Of The Extra-Chapter 18: Micheal Von Blitzfeld
Chapter 18 - Micheal Von Blitzfeld
The hearth fire crackled, casting a warm and amber glow over the whole room. I sat there on the sofa waiting for my Aunt to come.
I was in Aunt Josephine's house in Rasendorf Village. It was a cosy and warm place, unlike the cold walls and halls of the Blitzfeld Mansion. The door connected to the kitchen sprang open as Aunt, who was holding a porcelain cup in her hands, stepped out.
"Here you go," Aunt Josephine said, putting the porcelain cup down with practised ease. Steam rose from the red liquid inside it, curling into the air.
I took a sip from the flower-patterned cup. Its sweetness poked at my buds, and the hot tea burned my tongue.
"It's hot," I murmured, scratching my tongue against my teeth.
"So, you said that he beat you to a pulp because you tried to call off the engagement?" Aunt asked as she sat across from me on the other sofa. Her arms crossed as she settled.
"Yes," I said putting the cup back on the table between us, "He did not tell you?"

"No," She shook her head, "But why would you try to break the engagement off? You liked Elisabeth, right?"
"Even went running behind her during the ceremonies or banquets."
"I would prefer if you don't bring up those memories" I sighed remembering the simping shit Noah did. "And no, I don't like her. She used me for her own benefits and I have no intention of being used as a pawn by the Edelstein or Blitzfeld"
"Fine but why are you here? After you clearly rejected my suggestions two months ago"
"Because where else can I go? I don't have anyone else" I replied. Noah did not have anyone else and I, Ethan, don't know shit about living out in the wild. I was just an 18-year-old student not long ago—Like only two weeks—I have been in this world only for two weeks.
That's why I had no other choice but to rely on my Aunt and Brother Micheal. Speaking of him—Where was he?
"Well, I really don't have any problem with you staying here But at least I should inform Friedrich," She said, "But if I do that—I don't think you will be ever seen in the public eye or even to me"
"That is why I need your help," I clasped my hands, "Please let me stay here and train until the Academy starts. Please!"
"You don't have to beg, it's not a problem," She smiled, and her lavender eyes shimmered in the amber glow of the fire, "So stay as long as you like"
My face softened as a small smile played on my lips, 'Noah, you bastard. You really abandoned her for that cursed family? I think your death did serve you right'
[You are taking things too far, don't forget you are Noah now] Dante spat.
'I know, sorry'
"Aunt," I called out to her. "Do you know where Micheal is?"
"Micheal, he actually went to hunt some Mana beasts—"
-Knock. Knock.
"Aunt!" A man's voice rang outside.
"Speak of the devil," Saying that she stood up and made her way toward the front door. Gently opening it with a creaking noise.
And there stood a man—his white-streaked lavender hair was covered in blood and dirt but that did not degrade this man's look. His one eye was emerald and the other was amethyst— a shade of both the duchess and the duke. He had a chiselled-out face as if the gods himself had sculpted him to be this perfect.
Micheal Von Blitzfeld—Vice-Commander of the 5th Legion of Germainia Army, Prodigy of Blitzfeld, Idol of The Protagonist Raiden and Noah's eldest Brother.
"Mic, Where have you been?" Aunt questioned him holding the handle door.
"Aunt, it took some time to hunt down the Mana Beast as he was quite fast at running away," He said giving her an awkward smile while scratching the back of his head. Then his heterochromia eyes landed on me.
He blinked a few times and then looked at our Aunt, she did not say anything and just nodded. He again locked his eyes with mine, I just gave him a wave and said "Hello Brother,"
Then his face erupted with an expression of joy as he ran past Aunt Josephine and hug—
-Thwap.
Slapped* me on the back. My body rotated and I fell of the sofa onto the wooden floor. This man had the strength of an Elephant.
"What the hell!?" I shouted feeling the stinging pain in my back, "Why did you do that!?"
"Long time no see, Noah!" He brimmed with energy as if he had not just tried to knock me out right after seeing me, "How long has it been, two months?"
"Oh, you lost weight," He said as he grabbed my cheeks and pinched them, "Exercising aren't ya~?"
"Ues bludal" I tried to speak but my voice came out as those infants who were just learning to speak.
Fuck!
This man, my brother who has achieved so much—is fucking like this. Even in the game when he trained Raiden, he would tease him and violate him while sparing. He was brimming with too much energy but he does get serious when he needs to.
After all he is from The Blitzfeld.
Micheal finally let go of my cheeks and extended his hands toward me. I held onto it and we both stood up from the ground. He cracked a huge grin which for some reason was annoying for me to look at. Noah's emotions are at it again or he is actually annoying.
"Now, why don't you tell me your reason for coming to Rasendorf?" He suggested gesturing for me to sit down beside him. I nodded but did the opposite and sat across from him. To which he released a sigh and sat down quietly.
For the next 30 minutes or so, I explained all that had happened at the Blitzfeld—excluding my transmigration. He reacted differently to everything I told him.
Like when I said that I got turned into bloody pulp by father, his facial expression tensed and his jaw also clenched tightly. He scolded me for trying to burn that poor guard alive and praised me for saving Ian—which I definitely regret doing because it goes against my ideals.
Also it intefered with the story but that was not my concern. Somewhere deep within me, I knew the story is about to go downhill. With my change—the effects should've started and that means my advantage of knowing the events happening in the future will crumble.
I need to come up with something to fix that and also, I have to control Noah's emotion or else I might make rash decisions—Which I have to achieve before the academy.
Coming back to the conversation I had with I also asked him to train me in swordsmanship and Aura control. For Mana, I can do it myself or take help from Aunt Josephine herself.
"You want me to train you?" His face brimmed with excitement, "I will sure, I am staying at Rasendorf for 8 months"
"That's great," I smiled, "So from tomorrow can we start?"
"Sure!"
"Wait, Noah you just arrived today and after all you have been through. I think you should rest." Aunt Josephine interjected.
"No, I will be fine. You don't have to worry about me," I said looking at her concerned face, "And it's Brother Micheal who is training me."
"That is what I am worried about"
"Pardon?"
"Ah, Noah you should go rest now. Tomorrow, we have a lot of things to do," Micheal chimmed in before I could further question.
I raised an eyebrow but in the end complied and headed upstairs. Aunt Josephine's place was a two storied house with four bedrooms on the second floor.
"Then Goodnight," I said.
"Goodnight! Noah"
"Goodnight, Nephew"

Watching Noah head upstairs, Josephine turned towards Micheal, "Don't be too rough on him that he passes out, Okay?"
"Yes Aunt, I will keep it in mind," Micheal replied smiling, "He is my little brother after all,"
"Little Brother, huh?" Josephine smiled but her expression looked sombre, as if she was reminiscing about someone—someone important to her.
"Aunt," Micheal called out his smile not visible on his face, "Do you think, it is the right time to tell Noah about the truth? Shouldn't you tell him about Aunt Marianne?"
"No, she told me to take care of him and it is not the right time 'He' has not arrived yet" Josephine said as her eyes slowly watered. A memory—She wanted to forget flashed again.
"My dear sister, please take care of this child." A memory of a weeping woman handing Josephine a new born child. Her skin was pale but still she looked beautiful as her tousled Wheat blonde hair framed her oval face. Her amethyst eyes reflected warmth and love—a contrasting look despite her tragic condition. "Please protect him, Protect Noah...until he returns."
"Aunt...Aunt!" Micheal's voice pierced through Josephine's thoughts as she looked at him. "Are you alright? Your complexion looks pale."
"I am fine" She whispered.
Micheal did not speak, he just looked at his aunt and Nodded.
