He made his way to the room where he was going to get his ceremony done.

They both had to walk for a long time and all the way through, Lucas was nagged about how he should act and never forget his etiquette training in front of the nobles.

Yet Lucas had no choice, he had no memory of the time he was given this training. It may have been because it wasn’t that important.

Finally, they reached the location where Lucas for the first time saw a man who was wearing professional religious attire. His clothes were pure white and they even covered the man’s whole neck.

The buttons were tucked properly, and there were no creases or any problems with the dressing making Lucas want to whistle in admiration. The clothes looked too perfect.

The man was standing straight near a window, the room was completely normal unlike the other gold one.

Yet the man’s eyes were completely closed, Lucas could still feel that the man was looking at him, too intently.

At one point, Lucas even got to feel some curiosity coming from him.

If it was in his hand, Lucas would have deactivated the mark all at once. It was weird while it was activated, with sudden emotional outbursts and heightened senses for other’s feelings.

It had the perks but the downs were too many.

"Your majesty, the High Priest. Batch master Zen greets you."

Lucas looked at Zen who had laid himself on the ground completely, this time, it didn’t even feel like a bow.

Lucas looked at the guy in the religious clothes again and understood why he had this feeling toward the person.

’So he’s the High Priest huh.’

A church’s leader was known as a High Priest, the greatest title one could get inside the church. Yet whether the Pope was a leader or not was a controversial topic among the civilians and even the nobles.

The Pope always got orders from somewhere before making any plans for the church. Who was that someone, nobody knew till now.

The Pope was looking at him with a serene expression, there were wrinkles on his face, and in some places, there was even saggy skin.

Lucas before knowing bowed to the man too, surprising even himself. He had a sense of responsibility in doing so, nothing else.

When he looked back at him, the High Priest had already started walking to a small orb at the center table.

They didn’t get up and the guy said nothing in return. Instead, he put his hand on the small white ball.

The next second, the orb became bigger and bigger until it was the size of Lucas’s head.

The High Priest nodded again and sat on the seat with his eyes closed.

Lucas looked and tried to get anything good out of this situation, he wanted to test what level of strength the high priest had.

But Zen pinched him on the rib making him feel some sting, he glared at him but the glare didn’t last as much as he would have liked.

Zen got up and moved toward the orb while also waving at Lucas to come with him.

Lucas was now in front of the orb and when he looked at the object, he felt nothing but mana coming out of it.

"Place your hand on it, quick." Zen nudged him to be fast and Lucas obliged.

He kept his right hand on the orb and when he did, the orb gleaned bright.

Lucas wanted to close his eyes but found that his resistance had increased and even though his eyes hurt, he still could look.

There was nothing but a flashing light to look at for a few seconds and when he finally decided to close his eyes, the light vanished completely leaving a screen in front of him.

"What…" Lucas uttered ridiculously as he saw a holographic status screen just like his floating on the top of the orb.

His stats were not written there but there was a list.

He gazed at Zen who had his mouth stuck open, even the High Priest had one of his eyes open while looking at the information

"W-What bullshit is this?!" Zen screamed yet shivered when the High Priest looked at him with a frown.

"Please forgive my insolence, your grace!"

The begging had started again but Lucas kept looking at the options.

There were many and some were exactly what he had anticipated to get.

"Kid, if you choose Chaos Knight, I will have to get you killed immediately. It is one thing to have the budding of Chaos but it’s not worth becoming a Chaos Knight."

Lucas saw the High Priest talk this much for the first time, meaning that the situation was graver than he had thought.

’Fuck, so everyone knows I have this energy inside me? Well, even Aunt Ella could tell.’

Now it wasn’t really strange how they got to know about the chaos. Lucas just sighed in relief when he saw that no one talked about the mark.

"I will have to apologize for my insolence in advance…" Lucas said while looking at the High Priest who had gone normal again, his eyes closed and his hand supporting his chin on the table.

"Can you tell me about all these classes?" Lucas asked and Zen was baffled.

If he had asked Zen, it would have been fine, Zen would have even advised him but the High Priest?

The High Priest opened his eyes again and looked at Lucas intently. Nobody said anything for a few minutes making only the fast beating heart of Zen to be heard in the room.

"Not even the King’s kid has asked me for advice, what makes you think I will help an orphan?"

Lucas looked at the man for a few seconds and then a grin formed on his face.

"Well, I need some advice or I can just choose the Chaos Knight, Your Grace."
