Love You Till the End-Chapter 920 - 919: Hurry Up, I’m Hungry
So you’re saying there’s no one in the whole Shi Family?
Su Jiuyi began to feel delighted. She had been a bit anxious earlier, not quite sure how to present herself to everyone like this.
If she appeared in front of everyone dressed like this, she’d definitely become the headline gossip of the Shi Family tomorrow. After all, those maids were professionals at spreading rumors, even faster than a virus.
Following behind Shi Aoju into the elevator, he pressed the button for their floor. The confined space felt a bit stifling, and Su Jiuyi leaned against the corner, not wanting to talk.
"You’re cooking tonight." His tone left no room for negotiation.
Only then did Su Jiuyi remember they hadn’t had dinner when they left the Qian Family...
"Do I have to?" Su Jiuyi looked up to ask him.
"Are there any other maids here?" Shi Aoju moved closer, placing a hand on the wall behind her, enclosing her in the narrow space.
Su Jiuyi felt her mind go blank, with only one thought: why is the elevator so slow! She distinctly remembered it used to reach the room really quickly!
The air in the elevator was already thin, and Shi Aoju’s tall frame took up most of her space, making her feel stifled and causing her heart to pound from his closeness, to the point where she felt like she might faint.
"Does it bother you?" Shi Aoju’s voice came from above her head.
She felt like her brain was lacking oxygen, buzzing without understanding what he was saying.
"What did you say?" She squinted, sliding down due to the oppressive sensation brought by his proximity, unable to find anything to lean on except grabbing the corner of his clothes.
With a "ding", the elevator finally opened—
Shi Aoju glanced back at the wide-open elevator doors, releasing her with some reluctance, and reminded the little woman in front of him, "Remember to cook." After saying that, he walked out without looking back.
"Really..." Su Jiuyi let out a long sigh.

Resting her chin on her hands and squatting in the large kitchen, Su Jiuyi was a bit at a loss.
She didn’t even know what he liked to eat, and since he rarely ate at home at noon or at night, she hadn’t paid attention to what the chef usually cooked for him.
What foods did he avoid, what did he dislike the most? She had no idea.
Even though she was somewhat satisfied with her cooking skills, she had secretly tasted the meals prepared by the Shi Family’s chef, and compared to her own, it was like night and day.
Thus she couldn’t help but think if Shi Aoju had become too picky, would he even be able to eat the food she made...
If he took just a couple of bites and spat it out, how damaging would that be to her self-esteem...
Perhaps she should just say she couldn’t cook...
But then again, she was a maid, not a guest...
Squatting in the kitchen, at a loss, Shi Aoju stood at the kitchen door with his arms crossed watching her. He had been standing there for five minutes, and the woman inside was either sighing or shaking her head, making him want to ask if she was on drugs.
"What are you doing..."
Su Jiuyi mumbled as she stood up, calculating and turning around at the same time.
She walked with her head down, muttering to herself, and ended up bumping headlong into Shi Aoju’s chin.
"Ah, sorry..." Su Jiuyi’s first reaction upon realizing she had bumped into someone was to apologize, then she looked up.
"Hurry up, I’m hungry." He said in a calm yet domineering manner.
"Got it..." Su Jiuyi replied.
