"Lazarus, as well as William and I, will go visit the harbor. There are reports that, out of ten people who develop hypothermia, one person survives with his mana flow open. I want to check his condition in person and compare it to see what made things worse like this."

Arielle nodded in understanding. She wanted to say something, but seeing Ronan’s stressed face, she chose to keep her request to herself.

Ronan once promised that after her coronation procession, he would take Arielle and Irene to see the sea, but it didn’t seem like it was a good time to travel right now. Besides, Maxieno was still in the palace. If Arielle left, then she was worried that the man would do crazy things that made Ronan furious.

Arielle sat in her study. She learned to read invitations and how to accept and decline them along with William. She was also taught how to write a reply letter. Meanwhile, Maxieno was snoring on the sofa that the man had moved to be near the fireplace.

The dragon wasn’t bothered at all by William’s voice trying to teach Arielle.

"William, I heard you’re going to the harbor tomorrow?" Arielle asked.

William stopped writing and looked up. "That’s right, Your Highness. I, Lazarus, and His Majesty the King will visit the port. Is there something you want to do?" he asked.

Arielle shook her head. She didn’t have anything to do. She just wanted to make sure Ronan’s journey to the port would be fine.

"How many days will you stay there?"

"It will probably take three to five days."

"Oh... please take good care of Ronan. I’m worried because he hasn’t been able to sleep well lately. He keeps thinking about this problem," said Arielle, making William chuckle.

"Ahahaha, just yesterday, I heard the king say the same thing to Aimee. He also thought you’ve been too tired lately because..." William glanced at Maxieno who was sleeping soundly on Arielle’s sofa.

The girl could only frown slightly, as she also didn’t have the ability or strength to chase away Maxieno.

"Sorry if his existence is a little troublesome, but so far he hasn’t hurt anyone at all."

William nodded in understanding. "It’s all right, Your Highness. We can understand. I’m used to working under someone who has the same high ego as that man," he said jokingly.

The person William referred to was clearly Ronan. The man had known Ronan since they were at the academy and had worked with him for a dozen years. Working every day under the pressure and Ronan’s arbitrary attitude made William immune to arrogance and Maxieno’s rudeness.

"Sorry, William. You’ve been through a lot."

"Ahaha, I enjoyed it too. Sometimes it just cheers me up," William answered honestly.

Arielle and William immediately stopped talking when they heard Maxieno’s loud snoring. The two of them glanced at the figure of the big man who lifted his leg and placed it on a nearby table. Arielle and William exchanged glances then chuckled a little. They seemed to see Sasha in the form of a grown man.

When Arielle finished writing a reply from the King of Thebis, the door to her study forcefully swung open. Arielle’s eyes widened in surprise at seeing the two people who were at the door of her room.

William was ready to pull out his sword, but he saw Kael who was bringing two of Arielle’s acquaintances with him.

"Lord Otis! Luffy!" Arielle exclaimed then left her chair so she could hug the two people.

"Oh, Arielle... are you okay?" asked Lord Otis as he stretched out his arms to hug Arielle.

"I’m fine, Lord Otis. How about you? Did you have enough rest?"

"I hope so. I was going to visit you, but I’m too busy cleaning up all the mess that Maxieno had done?"

"Maxieno? But... he’s here," said Arielle, then pointed at Maxieno who was still sleeping soundly in his place.

Arielle also did not forget to greet Luffy who was now almost the same height as her. The boy wore a coat to cover his skin color, which was different from most humans.

"Luffy, you brought Lord Otis here?"

Luffy nodded and Arielle stroked his hair like she used to do when the young boy was a kid.

Otis looked at Maxieno then let out a long sigh. He approached the dragon and called out to him several times in a polite voice. William felt it was none of his business, so he left Arielle’s room with Kael.

"Your Majesty Lord Maxieno, Your majesty. Please wake up for a moment," called Otis in a soft and patient voice.

Maxieno just moved his nose and started to snore again. Arielle and Luffy looked at each other and both shrugged their shoulders because they didn’t know what to do at a time like this.

Otis walked closer and touched Maxieno’s shoulder. He even shook it several times while calling the dragon’s name again.

Otis took a deep breath. He looked around and saw the three dragon eggs laid on top of a container full of burning coals. Otis touched one of the eggs without fear of the heat and dropped it on the floor, causing Arielle to scream.

"OTIS!"

Instantly, Maxieno opened her eyes quickly and saw the dragon egg that was now rolling on the floor towards Arielle. Arielle, who was panicked, immediately checked the condition of the egg and breathed a sigh of relief after seeing it was fine.

Seeing that, Maxieno opened his mouth in disbelief.

"Finally, you’re awake, Lord Maxieno," said Otis, making Maxieno turn quickly to Otis.

"Otis..." Maxieno growled as he clenched his fists and let out flames from his fists.

"Lord Maxieno, I have settled the matter with the Desert Dragon of Thebis. You can go back to Birwick and please, if you have a problem, deal with it. Don’t run away like this. I am already very old, Lord Maxieno. I won’t be able to chase after you like this anymore."

"Hmph!"

Maxieno turned his face away and folded his arms in front of his chest.
