Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 76: Blizzard
It seemed like just a few days ago, Arielle refused Ronan’s request to stay in the North, and she was very happy to hear the news that her father had found a pair of wolves.
But why did it feel so empty now?
Arielle shifted her position and rested on her side. She watched the fox sleeping on her bed.
Arielle’s goal in learning to read and write was so that she could survive in the South and search for work. But would everything be that easy?
If Arielle lived in the North, then what about the birds that always awaited her, or who would water the flowers in the Cathedral gardens? Arielle would miss the laughter of the kitchen people in the palace.
However... why was her heart so heavy at the thought that she would leave the North? Even her heart ached at the thought of her leaving the palace and the people here.
What if she couldn’t see them again after she returned to the South? What if... His Majesty the King forget about her while she was away?
Her tears slowly fell as she didn’t know what she wanted. She had never been given a choice before. So when there was a choice in front of her eyes like this, Arielle became overwhelmed and overthought.
Arielle wiped her tears. She couldn’t cry over something like this. Being a crybaby would not make Arielle get the answer she wanted. Arielle spent the rest of the night in deep thought and was restless.
But before morning came, the girl fell asleep due to exhaustion. She felt that she could not find a satisfactory answer. So Arielle could only hope that the two wolves her father had found did not become pregnant. She needed more time to think.

Morning soon came.
Ronan intended to take Arielle to have breakfast together before the king went to the western border, but Tania informed him that Arielle had not woken up, and Ronan also let her do so. He told Tania not to wake her up.
"Let her wake up on her own," said Ronan. He grabbed his knife and fork and started to eat his breakfast.
"Alright, Your Majesty," replied Tania, who then withdrew to return to the princess’s room.
In Arielle’s room, the girl was still asleep, but the fox she saved yesterday had woken up and started to walk around Arielle’s bed.
Tania, who had already prepared the remaining pieces of meat that she had taken from the kitchen, placed them on a small container and the fox approached with a limp leg towards her.
Tania walked to check on Arielle’s painting. She covered her mouth in surprise to see the king’s face without a mask. She immediately lowered her face, she felt guilty to see something she shouldn’t have seen.
The old woman grabbed a white cloth to cover the canvas in front of her so that no other maid could accidentally see the king’s face when they helped Arielle later.
All this time, Tania had always wondered what the face of the king without a mask would look like and the reason why he always wore it. After she had glimpsed earlier, she thought that the man was very handsome with his sharp gaze.
Then why was he hiding his face?
Tania glanced at Arielle, who was fast asleep. Tania didn’t expect the princess to be this close to the king. Even to the extent that she received the chance to paint the King of the North without his mask.
Tania opened the window curtains and was surprised by the sudden blizzard. Despite that, she saw the five horses leave the front yard of the manor. Tania was sure that the leader of the group of people was no other than the king himself.
Eventually, the princess woke up.
Arielle slowly squirmed and yawned. She rubbed the side of her bed to look for the whereabouts of the fox, but there was none. The girl quickly got up and smiled in relief when she saw the fox sitting scratching its face with its hind legs. Tania had also come.
"You slept very soundly, Your Highness," commented Tania half-laughingly. She was amused to see the princess’s face that was still half sleepy.
"Good morning, Tania. I feel like I just fell asleep right before dawn."
Tania got up from her chair and put down the knitting yarn she used to fill her spare time while waiting for the princess to wake up. The woman folded Arielle’s blanket so the girl could get up.
"I’m so hungry," Arielle said with a yawn.
"Of course, you are hungry, you have missed the time for breakfast, and now it’s lunchtime."
"I was asleep that long? Why didn’t you wake me up, Tania?" asked Arielle, panicked.
"His Majesty the King has ordered me to let you wake up by yourself, Princess," replied Tania. She helped Arielle and chose to prepare thicker clothes for her.
"Oh, is there a blizzard now?"
"Since this morning, Your Highness."
"Uff, I actually planned to take the fox to play in the backyard," Arielle replied sadly.
After Arielle washed her face with warm water and changed her clothes, the girl went downstairs to fill her stomach. Like the rabbit families in the Whitethorn palace, the fox followed Arielle faithfully.
At the dinner table, Arielle did not hesitate to share some of her food with the fox. After she ate, Arielle stood behind the glass window in the backyard with her fox to watch the snow. It truly was a strong blizzard.
Suddenly, something caught her eye.
From a distance, a black-cloaked figure approached the backyard gate. Arielle narrowed her eyes as the figure struggled to walk through the snow. His hand reached out to touch the gate, and he fell in front of it.
"Oh my gosh! Sebastian! Come here!" Arielle shouted and called for Sebastian.
Arielle ran to open the door without the guard’s permission. She ran through the blizzard. Likewise, the two guards, the fox, and Sebastian were surprised because the princess ran so fast just like that.
Arielle struggled through the backyard because the wind and snow were blowing very hard. A guard followed, and Arielle pointed at the fallen figure in front of the gate. The guard immediately unlocked the gate.
