Chapter 319: The Enemy of An Enemy, Right?

[OBREN]

"Sounds like a touching story, but there’s many of us and two of you. Technically you are useless to me and my people," Luna Park said earnestly.

She had been thinking of everything and right now, with the vampire king before them, and a damning story, Luna wasn’t sure she wanted to buy into, she had to make a choice before her people and her fellow alphas.

"I could send a raven if that is what it takes to get to join you, Octavia. We both know I have an army that remains undefeated," Nate said and Luna Park just let out a laugh.

"Weren’t you the one bested by Kim Raniaa when she came to take the ride back home? You have so much pride in your army, and yet you couldn’t even get to her?" Luna Park said and Nate let out a chuckle.

It was funny how they were taking jabs at each other when Rania was probably sleeping over the fact that she would bring down the whole kingdom and everyone in it. Maybe this was their way of making light conversation, but was that all that was at this?

"That I will arise. Let me help. I am invested in getting to Rania with, or without your help, and instead of us going as different armies, we can do it as one, and finish the mission. We don’t have to be enemies, at least for this one, right?

"Besides, the enemy of my enemy is a friend. We share a common enemy and right now, that is Kim Rania. We can make this work. Only for the same of this mission. What do you say?" Nate asked as he waited for a response.

He knew that they were both after the same thing and his proposal had no lips, no hidden agenda. All he wanted was Kim Rania and no matter what he would face, when was determined to get to her.

He didn’t care if the world suddenly turned gray or even if his world was coming apart. As long as he got his daughter’s vengeance, he would be fine. That was the only thing that kept him sane through and through and he would see it to the end.

"Well then. Send a raven and rally your best men and any other recipients you can think of. The army we’re going to be against isn’t just any army but the worst of them all. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

"We have to fight and reclaim our homes and kingdom," Luna Park said after a long consultation with the other alphas.

They didn’t have any option right now, and they knew that regardless, they would get anyone who was offering to be their ally, onboard the battle. This was the ultimate battle and one that didn’t need those who were weak at heart.

"Alright. I’ll do that," the vampire king said as he watched the luna disperse the warrior. Granted, they may have agreed to be on the same side, but the brothers were still not allowed within their camp.

They had to have armies as a password to this place and right now that was the only option. And so it was that the vampire king sent a raven to Drarun, calling on the army that the king had told Officer Kang to prepare.

Granted, it was abrupt and it wasn’t what the warriors or even the high guard of Drarun had expected, but then they were aware of the demons.

In the note to Officer Kang, the werewolf king attached another note that Officer Kang was to send to the Valley of the Whites for reinforcements. They were to get the letter to Brent, one of the shadiest warlocks in the valley of the Whites.

Brent was a terrible warlock and one who practices black magic on a higher scale than ever imagined before. He was powerful, but not as powerful as any of the Seto brothers, even if the Seto brothers were having a terrible day.

Well, everyone was nothing compared to the Seto brothers, so that was a reality that they all had to come to terms with regardless.

By eleven o’clock in the night, the army that the vampire king had demanded had made their way to the camp, and along with that army was the army that Brent had come with, they were twenty of the shadiest warlocks and those that practiced a lot of black magic.

They were the horrors of the realm. But then they were aware that Han Seong despised black magic and that if caught, they would be subjected to a trial by fire. Not just any fire, but the Seto fire.

The kind of fire that never ended. It was hell on its own and Han Seong had only ever used it twice, but it had sent the message to everyone.

"Here is my army and a few extras," the vampire king said when Luna Park came back to the gates.

She looked tired and like she needed rest.

There were bags under her eyes, but the determination on her face was never-ending. She wanted to see this through and she was desperate for success and more than anything, closure for her pipe or rather whatever was left of the Calindra wolves.

It hadn’t been an easy fete, picking herself up after losing her family. It was hell and she didn’t want to think about it, even though it haunted her every time the sun went down.t There was just a blank space that no one would ever be able to fill.

It was something that no one would be able to explain in a better way and goodness, that was the most hurtful thing that Luna had ever experienced in all her life.

"Well then, they look good to me. Though I must warn you, if they try ayat ging, I will go cla kaisei myself. I know the man wants you dead for some reason.

"So let’s be civilized with each other, before we summon the devils on each other, alright?" Luna Park said and Nate just agreed.

He knew that this was dangerous and this was not their normal kind of war. But then he just like everyone wished for a time when everything would be peaceful, and he was willing to pay the price for it.

"Thank you, Octavia, for this. It means a lot," Nate said to Luna Park once they were let in. That evening, they strategized and went through their attack plans on Incayon. They were focused on their strategies, but nothing stood out in all of that.

Unlike Rania whose principle of war didn’t include harming kids and women, Luna Park didn’t have that. If anything, she hated everyone in Incayon and would ruin them all, just like she had lost her people and her pillar.

She didn’t care what the consequences were.

They were going to go and attack them all without mercy.

She didn’t want to hear anything, really.

The only thing that mattered to them was that they got their vengeance and freed their family.

They were soon confident in their goals despite the kind of enemies they were going up against. Perhaps that made them crazy, but the pain did have a way of getting the worst out of people.

"Hold on, is it just me or are the skies handing a little too low today? Was there something that we missed out on? It’s already midnight, but was there something happening anywhere today?" Luna Park asked when she noticed how everything had changed.

This wasn’t what she had thought of, but then here they were.
