Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 331: By All Means, Continue
[RANIA]
"You want to tell her about her brother being alive?" Jungwoo asked, right when Rania and Chang Wook showed back up. As expected the siblings were covered in blood and everything in between.
It seemed like they left their friends to keep on fighting so that their warriors could take a break for the long war that had just begun. They would be taking turns and that seemed to be the best system for their teams.
However, right now, Jungoo wasn’t sure if he had said the right thing, or if there was me that he needed to say to make them all forget about what the hell they had been planning.
"These people are screamers," Rania commented with a laugh before she turned to the prisoners who had clearly given themselves up for their friends to have an easy time identifying them.
However, even if they gave up their positions, would that help any of them when the leaders had been busy crying out in pain from the thousands of cuts they were experiencing? Would it make it any better for them?
"Should we give them a break? They have been crying for the past half hour. Maybe they should take a break, Rani," Chang Wook suggested and Rania looked at the pack leaders who were writing in pain and disbelief.
It was clear that they despised the suggestion of dark magic because they had been the first to be affected by their weapons of doom. It was all so crazy, but then they were up against an even crazier team.
Well, it was only right that they match the chaos, because otherwise, they wouldn’t have a place to lay their heads in the event that they survived the chas they had triggered themselves.
"Alright fine," Rania said and her brother didn’t hesitate to cast a spell that countered the one that was triggered by the dark object. They were a special set of siblings so this was a non-issue for them.
"Holy shit, please don’t do that again," King Nathaniel was the first to speak up when Chang Wook released them.
Once again, he was filled with a type of rage that could burn down Kingdoms, but he couldn’t act on that rage unless he knew where his child was or even her body. That was the only thing that was holding him back, otherwise, he would have acted on his rage a long while ago.
Nate was a hybrid King, one of the strongest creatures in the realm and while he was no match for magic, he knew he could hold his own so well if he didn’t have anything to lose. But right now, he has two things to lose.
He had his brother, and his daughter the one he was looking for; a woman whose body he was desperate to find.
"We won’t, but only if Jungwoo says what he meant by siblings just a few seconds ago," Rania said with a sinister smile, knowing so well that he had dropped in on their conversation.
However, that didn’t matter to her, because right now, the only thing she wanted to know was the brother they had mentioned.
Perhaps there was something she needed to look for.
"I know it wasn’t Jungwoo’s sibling, so don’t even think of lying," Rania said and the wolves let out defeated sighs.
Today was not their day and the longer they sat and even stood with nooses around their necks, the more they were certain that they would be able to suffer even more. This was cruel, for anyone and they wished there was a way out of it.
"You heard wrong. We were talking about your bond with Chang Wook. It looks like one that you treasure so much," Daehyun, making sure to look as honest as he could, given that Rania was quick to notice any discrepancies.
She was intelligent and that didn’t sit well with many, especially with what was going on in her own pack.
"Oh, alright, then you won’t mind if I ask Jihoon, right? And just so you know, if Jihoon lies, this magic ball I got from your stash of dark objects will turn red, and I will definitely do more damage to Luna Park," Rani said and Daehyun sighed.
Each time he got to know more about Rania, he wished that the goddess had never let her live. This woman was a disaster but then she was also a monster that they had created. They couldn’t blame anyone for whom she had turned out to be another team themselves.
They could have saved her endless times.
They could have done something to make her life better more than once.
They could have stood up for her, but instead, they let her be in this situation. They forced her into the hands of the most barbaric family to ever exist and she didn’t have a way out.
"Fine. we were talking about Yanna. She doesn’t know her brother is alive," Daehyun forced out, knowing so well that this would be worse than what they had planned.
At the mention of Yanna, and in the present tense, the vampire King’s attention turned to Daehyun.
Hell, even the King and the queen were listening right now. They all knew that Yanna was the Calindra Luna and nothing more. But there and then, they knew there was only one option out of this.
The only question at the moment was whether that was the right time to be coming clean about things that should have remained a secret for years and years on end. They were gambling, a lot, and this one hasn’t panned out well for them.
"Oh please, that is some shitty lie you should be telling the Kings here alright? I know she has a brother. In fact, I know Yanna dear over there is aware of the fact that she has a brother. She knows who he is, she has been with him for the past four months.
"She is very aware of everything about her family. But what I don’t get is why you feel the need to lie about that," Rania said as she walked to where Daehyun was.
Given that Daehyun was the only one whose hand had been uncovered, he could see the deadly glare that Kim Rania was giving him.
Frankly, he was regretting his decision to try and pit the brothers apart. Because right now, they need to come to terms with a whole new reality. One in which everything went sideways for them because they were not brave enough to face their truth.
"Now I know what all of you are thinking at the moment—" Rania began but Daehyun stopped her. He knew how much damage this would cause and he knew that the royals would never recover from it.
Hell, everyone wouldn’t be able to recover from that insanity. Sure, the warriors were still getting slain left right, and centre, but even that wasn’t enough to hold the psycho woman back.
"Rani please," Daehyun pleaded, hoping to reach out to the humane part of Rania, the girl they had broken so terribly it was even a wonder who she had managed to start this strong.
"I’m just giving you all what you wanted, alright?" Ramia said before turning to her brother and letting him remove the cover on Yanna Petrova’s head.
"What?" King Nathaniel asked as he took in the sight before him.
