Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 335: If You Go Low, I Go Lower [3]
[RANIA]
"You little—" Chang Wook said as he looked at his sister who was staring at the prisoners with a sinister smile on her face.
Rani knew what she was doing was cruel and once again, she didn’t give two shits about it. The old could burn for all she cared and she would still make sure that everyone who had hurt her paid the worst of prices. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
"Go, brother. Leave here and go join the fight. I’ll take care of everything from here," Rania said and for a moment, Chang Wook considered his options.
Granted, he trusted his sister to take care of herself but he couldn’t just up and leave her like that. He still wanted to be there to protect her. This was his baby sister and while she was strong.
She wouldn’t be able to handle all these powerful prisoners on her own.
She had new abilities and didn’t even know how to use the magic she had gotten, not to mention the slopes she could cast, so leaving her alone was like leaving her to the wolves who would try to mess with her. But was that really it?
Rania had been a menace even when she was just a normal alpha. She had caused so much trouble that everyone was literally worried for her sanity and careful enough not to mess with her.
"Will you be okay?" Chang Wook asked and Rania just smiled at him. Of course, she could be okay. She was his sister and she was the first female lycan. What was the worst that could happen, right?
"Yes, I’ll be fine. But if Kai comes and finds me screaming my lungs out while you’re here, he might consider you a threat. I value you both too much to see you at odds. Now go.
"Finish the wolves and then we can have our storytime later alright?" Rania said and Chang Wook just sighed. He knew how dangerous this was but then he made his choice, making his sister look at him like he was insane.
"You—" Rania began.
"Are not going anywhere. Go on, scream and let them come, before you change your mind, little sis,’’ Chang Wook encouraged and their prisoners looked at the siblings like they were insane.
They were born of the same woman and there were similarities that were expected, but goodness, this was just more than what they could piece together. What the hell had they even triggered when they went after the crazy Kim sister?
"Okay then... Help me!!!" Rania screamed out this time, as her brother made sure to keep the deep wound fresh. He knew Rani could heal herself if she wanted to, but that would beat the purpose of everything.
At Rania’s scream, the misfits cast a barrier over Incayon, trapping everyone within the Incayon and making sure that no amount of magic could be used to leave the pack.
It was something that they hadn’t expected and sadly at the same time, they had expected that someone would try shit. Only that they didn’t imagine that Rania’s screams of hurt were it.
They didn’t think that they would have their family getting in trouble with the same prisoners and goodness, that raised so many alarms.
"Raqeeb, make sure none of them survive," Kaia said before he disappeared and went to where Rania was. He was raging and when he got there to find a hurt Rania, his first instinct was to sniff the scent that was in her, and rust out the perpetrator.
Han Seong had been feeling a lot of things from earlier and when he sensed Yanna on Rania, he decided to lunge at the women, ignoring the pleas of everyone who was there.
"You must be addicted to causing Rani pain, right? How about I show you what real pain is?" Han Seong said, as he cast a spell on Queen Eunbi and King Nathaniel; the one spell that got them slowly dying.
He had just indirectly confirmed to everyone what they had heard about Yanna’s parentage, but just like the other misfits, he didn’t care about anything, because they had all gotten to a point where their vengeance was their air.
The misfits had all been thinking of this time, dreaming of it, in every instance.
"I didn’t do anything, I swear!" Yanna cried out but she knew that Han Seong wouldn’t stop just because she was pleading. He knew how Yanna hated and feared Rania at the same time, so this wasn’t surprising to him.
He had seen the woman take a mate that wasn’t hers just because of the spite she had for Kim Rania. Han Seong wasn’t going to forgive that and the sooner Yanna knew that the sooner they would get to the next phase.
"Why did she hurt you, krushka?" Kaia asked as she looked at Rania’s wound, before casting a spell that should have overridden Chang Wook’s spell. However, this time, there was nothing happening and that was fucked up.
On any normal day, Rania could have healed fast, but then her wolf wasn’t letting that happen. She was angry and wanted vengeance for what had happened.
"It hurts," Rania said, the sincerity in her voice making her wolf try to negotiate with her about the healing, but then she didn’t want that. She was tempting Kaia, trying to see what her mate would do if ever there came a time she needed to rely on him and his support.
"Wait, please," Yanna said and Han Seong looked at her with cold eyes, making the prisoner flinch. They were in deep shit and they were in some sort of circus that Kim Rania was enjoying having them in.
"I scratched her," Yanna said and they all turned to look at her.
Rania and Chang Wook also looked at her wondering what the fuck she was on. This was supposed to be something else, but with Yanna’s admission, Rania was curious to know what else the woman would take responsibility for.
"She was behind me and I figured I could cause her as much pain as she could do to us. I just wanted to know if she felt any pain. The vampire King and the werewolf queen have no reason to be hurt because of this.
"I don’t even understand why you are trying them on whatever shit I did," Yanna said, feigning innocence in the hope that it would make everything better for her parents.
She had been a lonely child and it was just heartbreaking that the first time she met her parents she was the reason they were in pain.
Yanna was hurting because of the truth and she couldn’t take it anymore. She just wished there was a way out of this, a way that involved the happiness of her parents. But was that something she could afford at the moment?
Was Rania going to listen to her?
"I’m sorry, okay. I really am, and I’m willing to pay for whatever mistake I have made, but please, just let them be. Look at Bai Ting and Jungwoo.
"Surely you have humanity too, right?" Yanna asked and Rania snorted at her statement and that was the only thing Kaia needed to know that Rana was playing games with them.
"Krushka, what did you do?" Kaia asked slowly, though there was nothing in his voice that spelled his anger towards Rania.
"I was bored, so I played a game," Rania admitted as she let herself heal like she was ten.
