Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 361: The Return of Their Happy Pill
[RANIA]
"Come with me, we’re going to Daehyun then," Oshita said and Rania glared at him.
"You really want to do that?" Oshita asked and Rania returned a pout, to which Oshita considered a defiance of sorts.
"Kaisei Chihiro Seto!!!! What the fuck have you been doing with my sister? Are you people saints or something?
"Why the fuck wasn’t I invited to your sainthood then, huh?" Oshita shouted angrily as he grabbed Rania’s arm and together they jumped out of her balcony, landing right in the middle of the celebration.
This was going to be interesting.
At Oshita’s voice, the misfits looked around like they were trying to understand whether this was some illusion that they were selectively hearing.
They had missed their best friend and if there was one set of people Oshita would ever come out to, then it would be the best friends.
They had gone through so much together, but somehow even that didn’t seem to be enough because as they stood there in shock, and as the warriors tried to understand what the fuck had just happened and was happening, Oshita seemed to not give a damn about that.
He wanted Kaia Seto, who was staring at his brother like he needed to confirm that he wasn’t the only one who was seeing the man. It was crazy what had happened and what they were willing to do but right now it didn’t seem like they were pretty much on the same page.
The universe had to be paying with them because Rania and Oshita in the same space was wild, not to mention unexpected at this point in time.
"I know we’re drunk as fuck. But am I the only one who saw Rania and Oshita jump from her balcony?" Dalrae asked worriedly as she looked at her sister.
There were just some things that she could have possibly counted as impossible, and right now this was on top of that very list.
It was impossible for them to be on the same page, because the last time they had been here, Oshita had been dead and Rania had unlocked her first pandora of powers, something that to this day, they had never really talked about.
Perhaps it was because they had expected more shit to happen and some things were better left untouched. It wasn’t even a question of what would happen, but a question of what would they do even if they knew the truth about Rania’s powers?
Well, that didn’t seem important at the moment because either they were high as fuck and having the same hallucination, or Oshita had truly come back to them.
"I would say you were hallucinating, but if that were so, then even I wouldn’t be seeing him. Someone is playing long games with us and I wish to know what the fuck is not going on here," Odelia said as she looked at the man who she was meant to be mated to.
She had done everything the right way and yet even that hadn’t been enough for the moon goddess to pray for the one bond that she valued more than her own life; it was like everything had lost meaning and she was just a shell of who she had always been.
Life wasn’t being fair to her. If she was being honest, she wasn’t sure what her fate looked like. She was stuck in a loop of emptiness, trying to face a truth that didn’t seem to be doing her any good.
Right now, the only thing she could do was wait and hope that the world could be better for them.
"I missed you too guys, but before anything, I would like to know what the fuck Kaia and Rani have been doing for them not to have consummated their bind. It should have helped her with her powers and stabilized them.
"She would be in control of her abilities by now and you guys wouldn’t even have had to build a Cezaevi," Oshita said accusingly with all eyes turning to Kaia and Han who had expected that there was a day this question would come up.
Of course, the eyes weren’t accusatory in a terrible way, but then they were the eyes that told the Seoto brothers that they needed to start talking.
"Haru, help," Kaia said and Odelia looked at the man again in question but then what could they do.
They were a mess, and the most interesting part of all that, was that even the most dangerous of them all had adapted to their chaos as it suddenly seemed like they were a family of dysfunctional people, but still a family nonetheless.
Perhaps it was worth fighting for in the end?
"Sorry, big bro. This time you’re on your own, Hiro. Oshita scares me," Han said and the misfits just held back their lights. The person they loved had come back.
Even though they were curious about how this would go, they couldn’t deny that they felt whole once again. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
There was instant relief even among the warriors as they knew Oshita was always the one who knew how to best dissolve tense situations without having so much bloodshed. It was something they had gotten used to but then had lost instantly.
Right now, they were glad he was back.
Their general was up too, so that meant more good news for them.
"Everyone, keep playing. I just need to deal with some seven idiots before we will all join the games. Congratulations on winning the hardest stage of the war. I wasn’t there to help, but rest assured, that you guys did well, and I am very proud of you.
"Thank you for not leaving when you could have chosen to," Oshita said to the warriors who cheered on heavily while Rania nodded at them in approval.
She was proud of them and she knew they were worried about her, but then the fact that Oshita was with her and was happy had to mean that Rania was fine and nothing had gone wrong.
In Oshita, the warriors trusted, because Oshita was never the kind to hide how he felt or what he was thinking which made him an easier person to interact with regardless of the situation.
"Welcome home, Oshita!!" the warriors cheered on, before they weren’t back to their games.
Meanwhile, Oshita ushered the misfits to one side of the very huge field, sitting them down, like a parent who had come from work and found his children in a bit of a mess that they were yet to clean up.
He was glaring at them all like they were in trouble and maybe they were. Then it wasn’t the kind of trouble that would get them sad and shit.
"As I was saying, why haven’t you convinced them to consummate the bond yet? They are lycans for fucks sake. I can smell their desire and I’m just a regular wolf," Oshirta whined and Paloma snorted. She had missed her enforcer.
Since Oshita’s passing, Paloma never told her wolves what had happened. She had sworn to tell them once the war was over and they went back home.
Thankfully, it seemed like she wasn’t going to have to do that. She was glad that he was back, and that she wouldn’t have to march home with an incomplete army. Perhaps there would come a time when things went well for them too, right?
"Because we had a war and they would have been distracted then," Chang Wook said.
