Miracle Farmer with Special Abilities-Chapter 718 - 0: The Plot is Exposed_1
"It's truly beautiful. This piece of painting and calligraphy is immensely valuable… far beyond anything I could ever compare with…" Jiang Liwen exclaimed. A shy blush crept onto her face, as the painting and its accompanying poem were so suggestive; it was practically a marriage proposal.
"This time, I truly outdid myself. Perhaps it was because I was so inspired that it manifested in the work," Zhang Bin said, setting down his brush and gazing at the beautiful woman with a burning intensity. Then, he suddenly grasped her delicate hand. "Liwen, I like you. Let's start dating, shall we?"
Jiang Liwen was flustered. It was all happening so fast, but she was also a bit enchanted. He was just so outstanding. "Can you give me a little time?" she asked shyly.
"A little time? How long is that?" Zhang Bin pressed.
"A month, perhaps?" she said, unable to meet his gaze.
"Alright." Zhang Bin smiled and didn't push her any further. However, he kept hold of her hand, leading her out to see the rest of the villa.
Jiang Liwen tried weakly to pull her hand free a few times, but when she couldn't, she simply let him hold it. Her ears, however, turned bright red with embarrassment.
Hehehe… I'm finding that my skills at wooing girls are getting better and better. Zhang Bin thought smugly.
Still in a turmoil, Jiang Liwen finished the tour of the villa with Zhang Bin and then practically fled. "I'm going home! I'll take you to the Great Wall tomorrow…"
The next day, Jiang Liwen indeed took Zhang Bin to the Great Wall. Over the following few days, she continued to show him around Yanjing, finding herself increasingly unable to fend off the youth's pursuit.
On the evening of the fifth day, as she dropped Zhang Bin off at the villa, he pulled her into an embrace and planted a fiery kiss on her dewy red lips.
"No, don't…" Jiang Liwen panicked, but she soon melted into his arms, responding awkwardly.
After what felt like a long time, the kiss ended. Zhang Bin declared domineeringly, "Liwen, when are you going to take me to your home?"
"It hasn't even been a month yet," Jiang Liwen protested coyly.
"Tomorrow. We'll go to your house tomorrow," Zhang Bin stated. "I've already prepared the gifts."
"Tomorrow… okay." Jiang Liwen found she couldn't refuse and shyly agreed.
Not daring to stay at the villa any longer, worried she couldn't withstand his fervor, she drove back home as if fleeing for her life.
However, there were visitors at her home today. If Zhang Bin were there, he would have recognized the man as Chiang Bin.
Father Jiang and Mother Jiang were very warm toward Chiang Bin. He was dignified, exuded an air of nobility, and was exceptionally polite. Moreover, the gifts he had brought were worth tens of thousands.
Over the past few days, Chiang Bin had, of course, called Jiang Liwen multiple times, but Tutu had intercepted every call, either impersonating Jiang Liwen or outright refusing a meeting. So, Chiang Bin had come directly to their home. After all, this blind date had been arranged by a good friend of Father Jiang's, so he naturally knew the Jiang family's address.
Seeing Jiang Liwen return, Father Jiang's face was full of reproach. "Liwen, how could you avoid Chiang Bin like this? He was introduced by your Uncle Huang. You agreed to meet him, and he came all the way to Yanjing for you. It's been days, and you still haven't seen him? It forced him to come looking for you at our house!"
"Liwen, I'm sorry for the abrupt visit. There's an urgent family matter, so I may not be able to wait for too long…" Chiang Bin said apologetically.
What a polite and well-mannered boy. Mother Jiang thought, liking him more and more.
"You're Chiang Bin? Get out!" Jiang Liwen exploded in fury. "How dare you bring your scams to my house? You've got some nerve!"
The other three were stunned, their faces filled with surprise and confusion.
"I really am Chiang Bin," he insisted, taking out his passport and handing it to her.
"How could you possibly be Chiang Bin?" Jiang Liwen refused to believe him, casually tossing the passport aside. She then called for security, who unceremoniously threw Chiang Bin out.
She even told her parents that he was a con artist. The real Chiang Bin, she explained, was currently staying at her villa and would come to visit them tomorrow.
However, just one hour later, a middle-aged man brought Chiang Bin back into the Jiang home. "Let's see who dares to drive you out now!" the man said angrily. "This is simply outrageous!" Of course, he was Father Jiang's good friend, Huang Youyun.
Now Jiang Liwen was dumbfounded, her face a mask of disbelief.
This youth actually *is* Chiang Bin? Then who is the young man staying in my villa? Could it be that *he's* the con artist? But I let him hold me and kiss me... If I hadn't been so reserved, I might have been completely devoured by him.
When Jiang Liwen recounted what had happened, everyone became furious.
"He must be a con artist! The nerve, daring to deceive our Jiang Family!"
"Exactly! I knew something felt off these past few days. So there was an impostor impersonating me."
"Let's go, call the police! We have to catch him and make sure he doesn't get away!"
But his artistic talent is so profound... The painting he created so casually is immensely valuable; it could sell for tens of millions! How could he possibly be a con artist? Jiang Liwen argued internally, her face filled with confusion. Is he after our Jiang family's tens of billions in wealth? Or is this some other kind of misunderstanding?
What was she going to do? Jiang Liwen had no idea.
After a brief discussion, they decided against calling the police. Instead, they took a dozen strong security guards with them and headed for Jiang Liwen's villa. They stormed inside, seething with anger.
Zhang Bin walked down the stairs, looking somewhat gloomy. "Sigh, the cat's out of the bag," he muttered, though his face showed no sign of panic.
"Grab him!" Father Jiang ordered furiously. As a father, his daughter had been deceived by a conman. She had even let him stay in her villa, and who knew if they had slept together. How could he not be furious?
The security guards surged forward, intent on capturing Zhang Bin.
"Wait," Zhang Bin said, a look of surprise on his face. "Liwen, what's going on? Why have you brought people to arrest me?"
The security guards halted, turning to look at Jiang Liwen, awaiting her command.
"You little punk! You've got some nerve, daring to impersonate me, Chiang Bin, to swindle people! You're courting death!" Chiang Bin roared, his body erupting with a formidable aura and Oppression. He was a Cultivator who had reached the Rushing Pulse Realm, having opened seven meridians.
He dashed forward, closing the distance to Zhang Bin in a few quick steps and throwing a fierce punch directly at his nose.
WHOOSH!
A sharp, piercing sound echoed as the punch created an Air Burst.
"So strong," the security guards muttered in admiration.
"Don't kill him!" Jiang Liwen blurted out, a sudden shock jolting her heart. Have I really fallen in love with this con artist? Why am I worried about his safety?
Zhang Bin smiled indifferently. His right hand shot up, effortlessly catching Chiang Bin's fist. With a light flick, he tossed it aside.
"Ah!"
Chiang Bin was sent flying backward as if Riding the Clouds and Commanding the Mist. He flipped head over heels and crashed onto the lawn outside, his entire head burying itself in the mud, leaving him planted there like a turnip.
