Chapter 136: Chapter 136: They Are All My Kisses

His tongue swept through her mouth, powerful and demanding, as if trying to cleanse away everything she found disgusting.

After a long time, Caleb Rhodes finally let her go.

He gently kissed her delicate cheek, then pressed his lips to the space between her eyebrows. "Youโ€™re not dirty. Youโ€™re clean now."

Nina Wynn still clung desperately to the edge of the counter beneath her, refusing to let go.

"No, my body is dirty. I need to wash again."

Caleb kissed her vacant eyes and said softly, "Youโ€™re not dirty. My Nina is the purest person in this world."

As if she hadnโ€™t heard him, Nina climbed down from the counter and slowly walked to the mirror.

She stared at the marks left on her from the assault. Suddenly, she grabbed a toothbrush from the sink, and with a SNAP, broke it in two.

She raked the broken toothbrush against her neck, which was covered in red marks.

By the time Caleb rushed forward and snatched the toothbrush away, several bloody scratches had already appeared on Ninaโ€™s fair neck.

Looking at the bloody marks on her neck, Calebโ€™s chest ached so much he could barely breathe.

Every wound on Ninaโ€™s body was something he would remember for the rest of his life. This was his shameโ€”the shame of failing to protect her!

The woman he held so dearly in the palm of his hand had been hurt and humiliated right under his nose.

Every single person involved in this would pay the price a thousand, a hundred thousand times over!

He lifted her up, set her on the sink, and gently kissed away the beads of blood on her neck. "Good girl, Nina," he murmured. "Youโ€™re not dirty. Youโ€™re all clean now."

Nina listlessly rested her head on his chest, her voice devoid of life. "Itโ€™s dirty. Before, I always had to break the skin and wait for a new layer to grow before it was clean."

That short sentence made the veins on the back of Calebโ€™s hand, which was gripping the sink, pop out.

โ€™Everyone who has ever bullied herโ€”every single one of themโ€”will not escape!โ€™

Slowly, he began to kiss the red marks on her skin, bit by bit, letting the imprints he made cover the original traces.

After a long while, he lifted her up and placed her in front of the mirror again, murmuring, "Look, these are all my kisses now."

Ninaโ€™s eyes were still vacant. She leaned against Caleb, her hands gripping his clothes tightly.

Caleb carried her back to the bedroom.

He laid her on the bed and took out a hairdryer, carefully drying her hair bit by bit.

As he was drying her hair, he noticed a large, dark bruise on her forehead, hidden by her bangs, with blood slowly seeping from it.

The coldness in his eyes grew even more terrifying.

But his voice was gentler than ever. "Should we ask Dr. Chapman to come over?"

Nina shook her head listlessly. "I donโ€™t want to see a doctor. It doesnโ€™t hurt."

She rolled over to face Caleb, her hand grabbing his sleeve. "I killed someone, didnโ€™t I? Is he going to die?"

Caleb gently ran his fingers through her damp hair and asked in a low voice, "Does Nina want him to die?"

Nina weakly lifted her eyelids, glanced at Caleb, then let them fall again. "If he dies, Iโ€™ll go to jail," she said very softly.

Caleb kissed her eyelid and murmured, "You wonโ€™t go to jail. If Nina wants him to live, heโ€™ll live. If Nina wants him to die, he wonโ€™t survive."

Nina didnโ€™t answer. She slowly let go of his sleeve, closed her eyes, and lay quietly on the bed.

Her eyelashes, still dotted with droplets of water, trembled like the tattered wings of a butterfly, heartbreakingly fragile.

Her damp hair clung to her face, making her skin seem even more translucent, thin, and delicate. Under the light, you could almost see the fine blood vessels beneath her skin.

She looked fragile and thin, like the finest, most delicate piece of porcelain, ready to shatter at the slightest touch.

Caleb just watched her, and with every passing second, his desire to kill that man grew stronger.

After a long time, Nina asked softly, "Whereโ€™s my Roy?"

By now, Ninaโ€™s hair was dry. Caleb put the hairdryer away, bent down to kiss the space between her eyebrows, and murmured, "How about I bring him over tomorrow?"

Nina fell silent, her vacant eyes staring at the wall opposite her.

Caleb gently stroked her hair and said in a low voice, "Go to sleep. Youโ€™ll feel better tomorrow."

With that, he got up, took a pill from the small medicine box, and had Nina swallow it with some warm water.

A little while later, Nina finally closed her eyes.

Caleb covered her with the blanket, then left the room.

In the living room outside, Willson Lawson was already waiting.

He was startled by the intense killing intent in Calebโ€™s eyes and said in a low voice, "Third Lord Master, Quentin Walsh is waiting outside. He wishes to see you."

A hostile aura seemed to seep out of Caleb with every word. "In such a hurry to greet his death?"

Willson had never seen such a heavy, malevolent aura around Caleb and didnโ€™t dare to look at him. He said quietly, "Iโ€™ve put him in the suite next door. Do you want to see him?"

Caleb expressionlessly twisted the ring on his finger, his voice ice-cold. "Iโ€™ll see him."

In the suite next door, Aethelburgโ€™s real estate tycoon, Quentin Walsh, was pacing back and forth anxiously.

His son, Felix Walsh, had caused a massive disaster. He didnโ€™t know where Felix was now, only that heโ€™d been detained. Furthermore, all the guests who had attended the banquet tonight were now being held at the police station.

When Quentin Walsh received the phone call, he could hardly believe what he was hearing.

After all, those people were nearly all of Aethelburgโ€™s most prominent figures, and now they were in police custody because of his son.

Even if they all eventually got out unscathed, the Walsh Family had still managed to offend every single one of them.

The network of connections he had built in Aethelburg was on the verge of being destroyed in a single night.

At this moment, he still didnโ€™t know the true magnitude of the catastrophe his son had caused, nor did he know that his son was already in a state of living hell, unable to live and unable to die.

He only knew that his son had offended the legendary Valorian Crown Prince.

He had immediately prepared a gift and come to apologize.

But he hadnโ€™t expected this Valorian Crown Prince to be so difficult; he had been kept waiting for two hours.

But he didnโ€™t dare to complain.

This Crown Prince was famous for his iron fist and ruthless methods. His background was terrifyingly powerfulโ€”he was not someone a person of Quentinโ€™s stature could afford to provoke.

Just as his anxiety was peaking, the door opened, and a young man with an incredibly commanding presence walked in.

Quentin Walsh looked up sharply and met a pair of ice-cold eyes.

Those eyes radiated a profound chill. They seemed calm and cold, but their gaze was so piercing it felt like a frigid knife that could instantly carve out the thoughts from your mind.

Quentin Walsh had been navigating the business world for many years and had met his share of powerful figures, but he had never seen anyone with such a terrifying gaze.

And this gaze belonged to a man who looked no older than thirty.

He froze for a second before it dawned on him: this must be the Valorian Crown Prince.

He immediately put on a placating smile. "Third Lord Master, my disobedient son was ignorant and disturbed someone close to you. Iโ€™ve come to offer my sincerest apologies!"

As he spoke, he presented a black credit card with both hands. "This is just a small token. Please, accept it as compensation."
