My Goddess is Good at Pretending-Chapter 646: For a Distinguished Visit Permit
"May I know why you want to form a merchant group?"
"The pseudonym for some inconvenience things."
"But, this is a merchant, not a mercenary."
"There is only a slight difference between the two."
"If so, at least make our job easier by providing information like your ID or something."
"That would make the pseudonym lose its purpose. Just do as asked."
Zera put an ordinary pouch on the table. A token of friendship would make things easier for this kind of thing, even if it seemed like a bribe.
"..." The merchant guild leader was speechless, not knowing what this dark lady had in mind. He didn’t even know her name or where she came from.
She came to create a new mercenary group, but she provided no information. This made registration difficult since they couldn’t register it to the Aegis System with a null data form, and they couldn’t just come up with random data.
"Do you want to do something bad? If you become a criminal, it will implicate this branch." The merchant guild leader voiced his doubt, but his hand secured the token of friendship. He peeked at its content briefly. Those sparkling gems pleased his eyes.
"We wish to do some transactions with fake identities. So, make the Guardian of Dream’s origin data as realistic as possible. We’ll use this identity to do the bounty hunt once in a while as well." Zera crossed her arms.
"Understood." The merchant guild leader could only sigh. He could get the job done since it wasn’t the first time it happened.
Most nobles possessed multiple identities to protect their original status, and the current case was similar. The only difference was that the dark lady was so intimidating.
Based on Haldeall’s testimony, the Guardian of Dream’s true identity was a nobility, probably a Duke. As an upper-class noble who happened to be passing by, the Guardian of Dream was created on the spur of the moment.
"Kenny, I’ll take over from here." The merchant guild leader opened his virtual screen and continued the receptionist’s work to register the Guardian of Dream as a new VIP merchant.
He was very experienced at manipulating data. He used fake data that could never be traced to fill in the new merchant’s bio to be submitted to the Aegis System.
"Then, please excuse me." Kenny was terrified of the dark lady. She immediately excused herself from the room as if her life was on the line. Since the guild leader had personally stepped in, then she should return to the front desk right away.
"Here’s your ghost merchant identity’s data. But, we need at least one name to register as the leader." The merchant guild leader showed the only empty form.
Zera observed the data form on the virtual screen, not understanding anything written there. However, she believed this stone man was experienced in this kind of thing. She then nodded. "El is the leader."
"El, alright." The merchant guild leader continued the registration to the final step and finished the rest. He then put the VIP black card on the table. "It’s done. You can access the Merchant Union Channel through the Aegis System as the Guardian of Dream. Your real identity is secure and nobody can lead it to you if you are careful."
"Good." Zera received the VIP black card and immediately left the room.
"Although she comes from a noble background, she is unbelievably scary. What was her master thinking to send such a rude dark lady for this. If Haldeall had not warned me beforehand, it might not have ended peacefully." The merchant guild leader frowned, but he only shrugged his shoulders.
Even if they clashed, he was not confident in overpowering her, let alone winning. As a merchant guild leader, he had his own share of experience in dealing with a wide variety of people and ethnicities. Since the right amount of token of friendship got involved, then he would turn a blind eye to her rudeness.

Once Zera returned to ES Nirvana with the merchant card access key, Xentia connected ES Nirvana’s secondary system in incognito mode to access the Aegis System. It was a shortcut since there was a language barrier and they had no actual identity in this Aegis Intergalactic Empire.
"I hacked it a bit and gained some public data, including the local language. I’ll sync it to Elysium Channel." Xentia extracted so many things in a matter of seconds.
"Alright, thank you, Xen." Elysia could finally feel relieved. With this, they could eliminate the language barrier, though only for her main group who connected to the Elysium Channel.
"That’s unbelievable. They’re structured under one system of government and use one common language. There are civilizations on over a hundred planets and stars in this galaxy." Erina was still surprised even though Elysia already informed everyone about it beforehand.
"Well, it’s like an alliance to protect each other. Unfortunately, Vrelenia, Earth, and even Quadtria are pretty secluded, far from other civilizations." Nell commented as she accessed the shared data that Xentia had just synced.
"We can understand the alien’s language of this galaxy now." Sylvia faintly smirked.
"Any information related to Aegis history and the imperial family is categorized as top-secret, huh..."
"Yeah, it’s all top-secret, but we don’t need to know much about them, right? Our master has a plan for everything."
"Mm, everything will go according to master’s plan."
The girls discussed the Aegis Intergalactic Empire merrily, feeling that it was truly a great and magnificent civilization for an empire that encompassed over a hundred worlds and stars.
"Have you ever thought that this intergalactic empire was once just a planet? Their civilization flourished for eons with an immortal leader guiding them." Fortuna closed her eyes, feeling amazed, but also a bit restless somehow.
In the previous divination, she could barely obtain any information about Aegis and its true origin. Moreover, they couldn’t even obtain anything about the imperial family and the truth behind the Imperial Palace. All they knew was about what happened after Xentia hacked into the imperial-level data, and got caught by the Aegis System. Xentia stated that the emperor was Aegis itself, a sentient AI existence.
"Wonderful! We can now go directly to the Federal Department of Correction’s space station branch and gain some credits to request a visit to the Imperial Palace." Elysia put her hands together, feeling happy. She thanked Zera once again, and Zera soon returned to her shadow.
"She did accomplish it, even though it took her to threaten and beat everyone who got in her way..." Elena was a bit amused by it, but Zera still did the job done with minimal contact to minimize any suspicion.
A few moments later, Xentia sent an artificial human doll squad to hand over the captured pirate and redeem the bounty reward for some credit to the nearby space station.
As the guardian organization formed to maintain order, the Federal Department of Correction received the Guardian of Dream in a favorable light. After receiving an honor from the chief in command, the human doll squad returned with a special permit to visit the Imperial Palace, a good bounty reward, and also a medal of honor.
"Our family’s artificial human has become almost the same as the real one. But, did they realize something from them?" Morfina asked in concern.
"I think it’s okay even if they do." Yae flapped her fairy wings and landed on her best friend’s shoulder.
"The dolls received many improvements since our master returned to our side. If those people don’t do a full body scan, they can never realize that these artificial humans are soulless dolls." Xentia was proud of her creation.
"Let’s do some joint outer space battle simulation. We might encounter some space monsters on our way to the Imperial Palace." Elysia clapped her hands for attention.
She and everyone then went to the hangar for a joint battle simulation where everyone would go online on the same tutorial server space to face the common adversary. They did it while waiting for them to arrive at their next destination, and also a warm-up because they would surely encounter a space monster horde in a few hours as it had been divined.

A few hours after ES Nirvana left for the Imperial Palace, leaving Planet Chomik 90 far away, a female warrior in a bright blue starlight mech armor arrived at the Federal Department of Correction’s space station branch in orbit of Planet Chomik 90. She stormed the chief commander’s room in a hurry.
"Why do you look so hasty and burst my door, Princess Euphemia?" The chief commander put down his paperwork, feeling helpless.
"Bart, I caught the wind about the Swashbuckler Pirate was captured today. Where are they now? And where is the merchant fleet that captured them now?" Princess Euphemia folded her propeller wings and smashed the table with great urgency.
"They are in the fourth-level prison now, awaiting trial. As for the said merchant group, it is the Guardian of Dream, a rookie merchant. They have long left..." Commander Bart flinched. He had yet to recover because his door was destroyed, but now his desk fell victim to the fierce princess’ cruelty.
"A newly formed merchant group captured a tier-3 pirate fleet with no casualties. They happened to be passing by and saved Kraken Thistle from destruction. Do you think this makes sense? Anyway, take me to those criminals now. I need to retrieve a treasure of mine." Princess Euphemia clenched her fist and growled angrily. She was suspicious of the Guardian of Dream, but she had more important matters to attend to.
"Alright, I’ll send someone to take you to them." Commander Bart picked up the items scattered on the floor with his telekinesis.
"No, it has to be you. You’re the one who grants those merchants a medal of honor, yes? So, you tell me about them on the way." Princess Euphemia shook her head. She took off her helmet, revealing her beautiful face.

"..." Commander Bart was pissed, but he remained silent.
This princess was so unreasonable. He had other matters to attend to, but she ordered him around like a dog all of a sudden. She might be a princess of royal blood, but it was just that. Despite her beauty, her personality was shit, a selfish pushover.
If she wasn’t his superior and imperial princess, he would surely punish and discipline her! But, well... he would be dead if he dared to do it.
"Alright, please follow me, princess." Commander Bart swallowed his irritation and sighed.
