Euphemia’s usually calm demeanor faltered as she gazed upon her opponent’s mech. The opponent’s three mechs were most likely on par with hers. Still, the other one was a colossal war machine, towering four times larger than her star-forged Unicorn.

Its imposing frame gleamed with layers that seemed to absorb the starlight. The hum of its reactor emitted a low, ominous vibration that resonated through the space, a stark contrast to the soft glow of her own mech.

She clenched her fists. Her mech’s radiant blue energy wings flickered a bit due to a slight vibrant energy disturbance. She began to reconsider her decision to challenge this opponent. What had started as a harmless lesson had now spiraled into a potential disaster.

The extravagance of her opponent’s combat power was terrifying. She thought the princes had outsmarted the Guardian of Dream with the duel rules, sadly, no scheme could prevail before the true power. The merchant was obviously just a fake identity. With this kind of combat power, even the Emperor would be wary!

The opponent’s colossal mech had yet to fully appear. Yet, if she had to reckon it, that colossal mech was stronger than tier-8, most likely tier-9, or probably on par with the Aegis Emperor’s tier-10 mech!

"Darn! How can I defeat that monster?" Euphemia gritted her teeth as the Guardian of Dream’s leader, Lady El, entered the partially emerged colossal mech.

Her confidence and intention wavered as she imagined the embarrassment of losing in front of an audience. But her pride as the Blue Stellar Princess would not allow her to back down.

She wished to resolve a matter with that young lady, teaching the other party a lesson. Although she did want to bully the other party, she didn’t mean any harm. She was just annoyed, hoping to blow off some steam.

"!!!" The three princes gasped in shock. Their opponent was clearly just a newly created merchant backed by Duke-level force, but what appeared before them was definitely not a combat power that even the Archduke and the crown prince could muster for a duel, especially that colossal mech!

"We’re your opponent. We’ll give you a three-minute head start. Feel free to attack us with everything you’ve got." Morfina controlled her mech to the front row, raising her force field and energy shield.

"Don’t say we’re bullying you because it was you who challenged us." Yuuki taunted, ready to beat the princes to a pulp. The ones who tried to defame and harm her master deserve to be punished, but she had to show a bit of respect by letting the opponent attack first, just like the plan.

"You delinquents. If your parents don’t educate you properly, then someone else will teach you a lesson the hard way." Meiying also came up with a taunting word.

The opponents defamed them and intended to rob them like pirates, and it was time for a payback. Even though they were still young, perhaps the same age as her, the wrongdoers would still be punished.

"!?" It was like a trigger that suddenly snapped Althar, Cedric, Lucien, and Euphemia’s minds. The relationship between them and the Emperor was like a sensitive topic.

The Emperor only taught them several basic things on the first day they entered the imperial family. After that, they received imperial facilities as extraordinary people, but everything was not stable.

They should try their best to obtain his guidance. The Aegis Emperor was practically immortal, and they had to get his recognition. It was hard to keep their position as imperial descendants because they could be demoted at any time.

Some had already given up, just like the 10th prince, and because of that, he fell into debauchery, enjoying his privileges while he still could.

Unfortunately, someone suddenly mocked them about their parents who never taught them manners. They didn’t even know their own biological mother and yet, someone who knew nothing about them simply mocked them as if they, the imperial descendants, were nothing but rascals!

"What audacity! What gives you the right to say that?" Lucien was the first to snap in a fury. He took off at full speed, deploying his tier-7 mech into a full offensive.

The match started once they arrived at this Stellar Domain, and he unleashed one of his ultimate moves right away, aiming for the weakest ice dragon-like mech. "Whirlwind Burst!"

"!?" Meiying yelped in surprise as the spiraling whirlwind exploded in front of her, sending a violent jolt that made her dizzy. Thankfully, her mech was so sturdy.

She had yet to recover, and the enemy’s mech had already landed on top of her, about to crush her into pieces.

*Bam!*

"Your opponent is me." Morfina fired an anti-gravity bullet, knocking the enemy off Meiying.

"Mei, are you okay?" Elysia spoke via direct line.

"Meiying here. Everything is fine. I was just shocked." Meiying quickly recovered as she did not want to embarrass herself.

"Focus on defending as planned. Your mech is on par with theirs. If the opportunity arises, counterattack and parry them." Elysia reminded about the plan in case Meiying suddenly wanted revenge.

"Meiying understands." Meiying nodded in reply.

After hearing that, Elysia took control of her mech to exit the void.

"All green." Xentia looked back and gestured with an ok hand gesture.

Elena and Ai nodded in response as they had already taken control of their parts via the drive core in their hands, connecting to the one in Elysia’s palm.

As for this occasion, they limited the EMC XN-EL’s combat prowess as they wished to test the mech’s support capability for a direct confrontation.

It might be considered a cheat because the mech itself was already overpowered and controlled by four pilots, but the others couldn’t possibly know it because the cockpit was actually a spatial command center, separated in a mini space inside the mech’s chest.

The moment the colossal mech stepped into the battle arena, the air grew heavy with its sheer presence. Towering above everything, the mech’s shadow seemed to engulf the field with its immense form and palpable aura of dominance.

Opponents who had been confident a moment ago felt their resolve waver. Their expressions betrayed their uneasiness as they adjusted their stances. The pressure was immense as if gravity itself had doubled in their vicinity.

In the stands outside the Stellar Domain, the audience sat in stunned silence as their awestruck gazes fixed on the gargantuan war machine. Whispers of admiration and fear rippled through the crowd. For a moment, all eyes were on the colossus. The first thing that crossed their minds was this merchant was an unmistakably hidden powerhouse they shouldn’t mess with, and the four imperial descendants would be fucked up for sure.

"My ships, my crew, and my contracts are protected under Aegis interstellar laws. To make things difficult for us, I suggest you should be prepared to face the consequences. Princess Euphemia, feel free to come to me. I shall accompany you and resolve your dissatisfaction." Elysia beckoned the one-horned, bluish-white angel-like mech to come to her with one hand while holding a massive magic staff in the other.

"!?" Euphemia was initially anxious because she believed she messed with someone she shouldn’t offend. That mech was most likely tier-10, but once she realized it was apparently not the offensive-class, but the support-class, she smirked with renewed vigor. "Don’t underestimate me, young lady. Let’s see how long it takes for you to realize that the colossus mech of yours won’t save you."

"Let me see how you’ll teach me a lesson." Elysia faintly smiled. "Yuuki, Morfi, Mei, I leave the other three to you. Greater buffs, activate."

After saying that, she raised her magic staff high, casting multiple buffs over the three mech guardians in front of her.

"Leave them to us, master." Yuuki went on standby at the right wing position.

"I’ll be your shield. We’ll focus on defense and counter. They can never break past us." Morfina strengthened her shield and force field.

"None shall pass us." Meiying nodded in reply.

"Good, but let that bluish unicorn face me. She has a personal grudge that I don’t quite understand." Elysia pointed at Euphemia’s mech.

"Understood." Yuuki and Morfina replied in unison.

In that instant, a series of attacks came from the opposing side, raining down on their energy shields and force fields.

"Half-blood, you must take down that colossus support mech immediately! That thing buffed the entire party!" Cedric shouted out as he engaged in the mid-range combat, trying to penetrate the defense of the three defenders.

"You don’t have to tell me what to do!" Euphemia pursed her lips, feeling displeased. Even so, she still flew forward to meet the massive mech in the opponent’s backline.

Surprisingly, the three defenders just let her pass, or perhaps, they were too busy defending against the three princes’ onslaught.

"Do you know why the support-class should always stay in the backline and need other classes to make it work? It’s because this class is the weakest, especially for individual combat power." Euphemia hovered before the colossus. It was sure big, but that was all of it.

"Hehe~ Then, kindly show me." Elysia chuckled a bit.

Her mech held a large magic staff, four times larger than Euphemia’s mech. It could bonk any opponent’s mech and make the pilot out of consciousness in just one swing. The battle could end anytime, but it wouldn’t be fun.

"I’ll show you that your arrogance will bite you. Three-minute head start... I don’t know where your confidence comes from, but you’re going to cry in these three minutes! Don’t blame me if your mech is destroyed in this duel! Unicorn, switch to all-out assault mode!" Euphemia grinned and switched to a full offensive mode.

Since she had a three-minute head start where opponents would only defend, then she had to put all her might into attack, ignoring defense.

Her mech’s circuits and joints glowed bright blue, and she aimed her cannon at the colossal mech before her. The distance between them was only six hundred meters, and she aimed right at the head.

*Swoosh!* *Boom!*

A massive explosion engulfed the colossal mech, but amidst the flames of the explosion, a fireball shot out like a meteor, flying past Euphemia’s mech, almost grazing her mech’s energy wings.

*Kaboom!*

The fireball exploded and shattered a massive asteroid in the distance, but a moment later, it caused a crazy supergravity suction force.

"What’s that?! You said you would give me a three-minute head start where you wouldn’t attack!" Euphemia shrieked out as her mech got sucked. She quickly spread her energy wings and pushed the propellers to maximum output to escape the supergravity explosion.

"Yes, but that doesn’t mean we’ll just sit back and let you do whatever you want. We’ll parry and counter your attacks. I’m a mid-range and close combat mage now." Elysia swung her arm, dismissing the remaining smoke and fire to clear the view.

"Not even a scratch?" Euphemia was surprised. The previous shot consumed 10% of her energy reserve, and yet, it caused no damage...
