Chapter 123: Rare Fight

Both the Claire’s cohort and the Sanguini guild members watched the ongoing fight with interest.

Many of their guild members were grunting on the floor, injured and glaring at Claire who was mostly the cause of their pain.

But even then, they couldn’t find the motivation to continue their fight with the stupid cohort instead of watching Aaron’s fight.

A real fight between a man and a woman –both throwing punches and kicks without holding back– was much more interesting than sharing blows and getting hurt.

Who wants to fight when you can enjoy one instead? And not just any fight, but a rare fight!

And it seemed like the Rye of Buzznet had the same idea as she watched the ongoing ’bout’.

She was simply checking over her drone controllers and telling them to turn on the night vision as well as focus on more important locations, when she found out that Sanguini guild’s minibus was heading to the same location as Aaron’s team.

There was no need for any further incentive as she instantly took over the control of the drone and using the darkness, moved closer towards the point of meeting, the stadium’s entrance!

She had gotten here even before the fight had started, hiding close to the ground and using the darkness to her advantage.

Luckily for her, the arrogant Sanguini guild didn’t ask their driver to turn off their headlights, giving Rye a free view of the situation without even turning on the drone’s night vision or flashlight.

And as such, the drone became nearly impossible to notice, recording the progression from start till present, watching how the battle spiraled.

She knew that this footage would be golden after their infamous guild turned Aaron into a superstar.

It was only about time till that happened...

While the world around Aaron was chattering and chilling, betting on his victory or loss, he himself was fully focused on the foe in front of him.

Punch, kick, choke, tackle, grapple, everything was a fair game and both of them didn’t hesitate to use it to try and win.

He had thought that the woman might back off if he closed the distance too much, but alas, this was no Earth.

Not only was she undisturbed by the lack of distance, she even seemed to enjoy it!!!

She was using the grapple to pull him closer and trying to push him into a chokehold while enjoying the touch of his slightly firm muscles.

Aaron was in a similar boat as her, using different attacks to touch different parts of her body. Sometimes it was intentional and sometimes purely coincidental, but no matter what... It was a messy fight.

After nearly 5 minutes of continuous back and forth, neither of the party wished to throw in the towel.

For Aaron it was about his male ego, and also his grudge against the Sanguini guild that he didn’t want to lose to a woman who troubled Claire.

While for the woman, it was her feminine ego and shame that she wouldn’t forgive herself if she lets a man win against her, even if he seemed to be hurting her harder.

After all, his average stat value was higher than hers, which meant his blows hit much harder than hers. But she held the advantage in technicalities and skills, as she was able to weave and dodge much better than him.

As for the buffs, both groups had their fair share of skilled buffers and healers, leaving the battle to be equal in those terms.

Inside the imaginary ring where the two fought, Aaron roughly kicked the woman on her stomach, his shoe pressing over the softness for a minor second before he spun on his foot and drove a fist into her shoulder.

But of course, the woman was no newbie and managed to block the blow with a forearm, stumbling backwards from the aftermath of his firm punch.

At that exact moment, Eva’s skills came off cooldown and she bestowed the status armour upon him, along with the speed boost.

He grinned widely, ducking under her counterattack with as much agility as his body could muster, swiping his feet under her legs as she jumped to dodge.

Aaron had already predicted as such as he punched her while she fell down, ignoring her attack which landed on his status armour and shattered the golden protective covering of mana.

With another blunt attack hitting on her body with force, the woman finally lost her strength and fell down on her buttocks, her chest heaving and her breasts rising up and down with each laboured breath.

"YES! Good job, Aaron!" Claire cheered when she saw him standing on top of the woman, "That’s my guy!"

Eva’s jealousy surged at the arrogant remark of Claire’s, as she also wanted to shout that Aaron also belonged to her, but was unable to.

She didn’t want to reveal the kind of relationship they had, as it was common knowledge that polygamy wasn’t ’looked up upon’.

And in addition, it wasn’t a woman having many men but the opposite. Which was even more shameful for the poor black haired beauty.

"Heh, I win." Aaron grinned widely, flashing a thumbs up to Claire and Eva as he offered a hand to the fallen Sanguini woman.

He knew that after the fight there was no malicious intent left between the two of them, at the very least. He wasn’t sure about their execs that a woman mentioned or if they were going to be friendly with Claire yet.

The woman clicked her tongue and took his hand, getting back to her feet and fixing her clothes with an annoyed pout, "How the hell are you so strong? I’m Vyra by the way."

Aaron smirked, "Claire taught me." He easily dumped the credit to Claire, leaving Vyra and the rest of Sanguinis to stare at the blonde chick with squinted eyes.

"What?" Claire raised her eyebrows as she stared back at them, "He’s a good learner, that’s it."

Right in front of the Sanguini eyes, both Aaron and Claire began to exchange a flurry of humble brags, putting each other higher and higher...
