My Milf System-Chapter 244 - 252. Class ranks
Chapter 244: 252. Class ranks
Meanwhile at the Academy...
Asher had finally returned after three days of absence. With his charm dialed all the way up, his crisp uniform fitting perfectly, and his polished shoes clicking across the hall, he turned heads the moment he stepped inside.
Whispers floated through the halls like feathers on the wind—most of them from the female students.
"He looks even hotter than before..."
"Did he get taller?"
"gods, that jawline..."
It wasn’t just the female students sneaking glances at him and whispering under their breaths—some calling him cute, others just staring like he was a walking daydream—but even the Principal greeted him with a rare smile, clasping her hands in front of her chest.
"Thank you, Asher," she said sweetly. "Because of you, the Academy’s sponsorship remains secure."
But Asher only gave her a wary look. At this point, he didn’t trust her either. What if she was also working with Veyna?
Still, that wasn’t the only thing weighing on his mind.
After a few lessons, while seated in class with his usual group of friends bantering loudly behind him, he noticed something off—Anna. She sat quietly beside him, barely meeting his eyes. She was just rigid, her fingers clutched the hem of her skirt like it was an anchor, her knuckles white and lips sealed in a pale, anxious line.
He tried speaking to her, asking what was wrong, but she kept brushing it off.
"I’m okay," she said, again and again.
But she clearly wasn’t.
Just as he was about to ask again, the sharp click of stilettos echoed through the classroom, silencing everyone. Heads turned toward the door.
Madam Sarah walked in.
Despite having a small child still breastfeeding, Madam Sarah had undergone a noticeable glow-up. Her energy was always up these days, and the way she dressed spoke of a woman who felt free—someone who didn’t care what society thought. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
She wore red stilettos with sharp heels that clacked with every step, and a tight, black pencil skirt that clung to her curves like a lover’s grip, with a thigh-high slit that flashed glimpses of her thick, creamy thighs every time she stepped forward. Her blouse, clearly one size too small, hugged her massive milk jugs to the point where the buttons looked ready to surrender at any moment. It was a miracle they hadn’t popped off yet.
But that tightness around her bosom only accentuated their size, creating an almost scandalous rise and fall every time she breathed.
At this point, she was the hottest teacher at the Academy. The rest didn’t even register.
Standing before the class, she placed her hands under her chest, arching slightly—knowingly.
"Good morning, class," she purred, her voice thick like warm honey. "We’ve just received a message from the Kingdom of Zephandria."
That name alone sent a ripple through Asher’s gut.
"One of our very own students... has been confirmed to be an S-rank hunter." Her eyes scanned the room slowly, pointedly. "Although for reasons only known to them, they kept this a secret until now."
Asher’s blood ran cold.
He had wanted to keep his rank hidden. But after what happened in Zephandria....it was no surprise the news about his rank would spread like wildfire.
Murmurs erupted around him.
"S-rank? No way..."
"There’s no one like that in this class."
"Isn’t the only A-rank in the Academy from the final year?"
Adrian adjusted his glasses with a confident grin. "Ha! Probably me. Ever since the tournament, I’ve been on fire. Feel free to hit on me ladies." He winked. Of course they ignored him.
"Maybe it’s Lorraine Alvado..."
The guessing game spiraled, until—
BANG!
Madam Sarah slammed her hand down on the desk. The sharp sound cut through the murmurs like a blade.
"Enough." Her eyes glinted. "The Academy has decided to run a comprehensive rank evaluation on every student. Clearly, there are more powerful individuals hiding in plain sight."
She paused and her gaze slid subtly toward Anna.
It was fleeting, but Asher caught it. So did Anna.
Anna’s head lowered even more. Her fingers dug into her skirt. She just stared at her lap, her thoughts elsewhere. Whatever was bothering her, it was eating her alive from the inside.
And so, the students were told to line up—boys in one queue, girls in the other. The classroom buzzed with tension as the testing began, starting with the girls.
One by one, each stepped forward to press their hands against the glowing crystal that pulsed faintly on the pedestal.
Asher leaned back against the wall, arms crossed, scanning the faces. He ignored the unfamiliar students and kept an eye on the ones that mattered.
First was Natalie—the nymphomaniac girl who had nearly ruined his friend Derrick with just a wink. She sauntered up confidently, hips swinging, and smirked like the crystal was about to bow to her.
C-rank.
Asher sighed. Of course. If she spent even half as much time training as she did sucking dicks out there, she might’ve been something by now.
Then came Lorraine Alvado.
The room fell silent.
She moved with that same poised grace she always did, chin slightly raised, every step deliberate like she was gliding. The so-called Queen of the class. And the moment her fingers curled around the crystal, the air itself shifted.
A sudden flash of purple light burst out, so bright a few students shielded their eyes.
Gasps erupted.
"She leveled up!"
Of course she did.
Asher already knew she’d been training hard ever since she lost the tournament to him. Being a prodigy wasn’t enough for someone like Lorraine. She had to stay at the top. That loss had pissed her off more than she let on, and now the results were showing.
"She’s A-rank now... She was only B a few months ago. Wow. Truly a prodigy."
Asher glanced over to see Kira almost on the verge of tears. The poor guy looked like someone had just crushed his dream with a steel boot.
"She just keeps getting further ahead..." Kira whispered. "How the hell am I supposed to catch up now? Starting a relationship with her... it’s hopeless."
Asher chuckled under his breath. "Yeah, well, just keep on keeping on, dude."
More girls stepped forward after Lorraine, most of them getting C-ranks.
Then came Anna.
Her steps were slow and heavy like her shoes were filled with stones. She kept her eyes down and shoulders tight. With her current negative emotions, that demon Draegonoth inside her was feeding off her bottled emotions, enjoying every bit of her misery like a parasite sipping poison wine.
She walked to the crystal. Hesitated. Then placed her hand on it.
Instead of the usual yellow, green, or purple glow the others got, the crystal turned dark. Black. Smoke curled upward from her palm, coiling like shadowy tendrils.
Students gasped and immediately stepped back, fear rippling through the class.
The crystal began to crack.
Then it shattered!
Fragments exploded in every direction. The once-sturdy orb lay in glimmering shards on the floor.
Asher shot up from his seat, heart thudding.
That presence—he knew it too well.
Draegonoth. There was no mistaking that aura.
But why was it leaking out now?
He clenched his jaw. Something wasn’t right.
Even Madam Sarah looked shaken. She instinctively stepped back until her back hit the chalkboard. Her eyes stayed fixed on Anna.
Anna slowly looked up at her, her expression... off. Her eyes darker than usual. Almost hollow. Eerie.
"So... what’s my rank?" she asked. Her voice was calm. Too calm.
Madam Sarah audibly swallowed. She took a moment to compose herself before speaking.
"I... I’m afraid we’ve never seen a black color before," she said. "Please, sit down for now. I’ll need to speak with the principal and other instructors about this."
Anna nodded and walked back to her seat quietly, that dark aura fading as if nothing had happened. Asher’s eyes didn’t leave her. Not for a second.
If Draegonoth had already gathered that much power...
He remembered what Rose had warned him: Keep Anna happy. If she breaks... the demon could take over completely.
The thought made his stomach turn.
With the girls done, it was now time for the boys. The teacher had brought in another assessment crystal.
"Hah!" Derrick stood up, brushing invisible dust from his blazer like he was royalty. "Well... let’s see if all that intense training l copied from Asher has paid off. You know... the every morning training regimen."
"I don’t know about you," Adrian cut in smugly, brushing his hand through his slick purple hair, "but my training’s been doing wonders. I can feel it—I’m definitely getting a rank up today."
"You guys are just being loud," Brian mumbled, half a cookie in his mouth. "Makes my cookies taste awful."
Asher exhaled. "You idiots shouldn’t act cocky when you’re clearly not confident."
"Can’t argue with that," Kira muttered as he joined the line.
The four of them got in line behind a few background-classmates no one really cared to know.
And so, the assessment for the boys began.
E-rank!
D-rank!
F-rank!
It was... depressing.
The girls started snickering, some covering their mouths, others laughing openly.
"Boys are pitiful," someone whispered.
Finally, it was Adrian’s turn.
He stepped forward like a model on a runway, confidence practically dripping from his pores. With an elegant motion, he laid his hand on the crystal.
A faint yellow light.
He stared in disbelief.
"For real? I’m still a damn D-rank!?" Adrian shouted.
The room burst into laughter.
"How did he even place third in the tournament with that rank?"
"He probably cheated!"
"Hahaha! So weak!!" Derrick barked, stepping forward with a wide grin. "Alright then—step aside and watch greatness!"
He placed his hand on the crystal.
