Queen Mommy's Six Genius Babies Found the CEO Daddy-Chapter 210: The Original Intention
"Ethan, it’s Aurora. It’s her. I won’t mistake her—there’s no way I could be wrong!"
Though it was only a brief glimpse, that figure had already been etched deep into her mind. She wouldn’t misidentify her.
But when she turned to chase after her, the spot was completely empty.
"Where did she go? How could she just disappear?"
She took a step forward to run after her, but Ethan grabbed her and pulled her firmly into his arms, restraining her.
"Olivia, be good. That was just your imagination. Aurora is dead. There was a formal death ruling back then—you remember that."
Olivia closed her eyes, almost greedily breathing in his scent.
Her violently trembling heart slowly calmed down.
She opened her eyes, quietly pushed him away, and got back into the car.
If Aurora were really alive, Sophia would be the first to know.
But Sophia hadn’t made any move at all.
She needed to find Sophia and ask her directly.
...
YL Group
Sophia finished reviewing the contract in her hands and signed the final name.
"President Morgan, Miss Morgan is here."
"Miss Morgan? Which Miss Morgan?"
She asked without even lifting her head.
"It’s only been a few days, Sister—have you already forgotten me?"
Sophia’s body paused slightly, but she still didn’t move.
"Did I say you were allowed to come in?"
Amelia immediately sensed that something was wrong.
She had let Olivia in only because she was Sophia’s sister.
But her boss clearly wasn’t pleased.
"Don’t blame the secretary. I told her I was your sister—that’s how I got in."
Olivia placed her XNE handbag on the chair and sat across from her.
Without looking up, Sophia asked calmly, "Amelia, what is the fourth company regulation?"
Amelia lowered her head.
"Without the president’s permission, no one is allowed to enter the office."
"And the punishment?"
"For violators... one month’s bonus is deducted. In serious cases, it’s reported to finance."
"Deduct one month’s bonus. Go get me a cup of coffee."
Sophia’s voice was ice-cold.
Amelia barely dared to breathe. Just as she turned to leave, Olivia laughed.
"Sister, why are you being so petty? We’re blood sisters after all. Besides, she was only trying to help—she knew your little sister missed you."
The fact that Sophia hadn’t fired her on the spot was already mercy.
Yet this woman was still pouring oil on the fire.
Amelia frowned, instantly losing any goodwill toward Olivia.
Sophia said quietly, "Why are you still standing there?"
"Yes, President Morgan."
Amelia hurried out. The moment she closed the door, it felt like she could breathe again.
The atmosphere inside was terrifying.
"President Morgan? ’Sister’ really sounds impressive now," Olivia remarked lightly. "Who would’ve thought your mother would leave you such a massive fortune?"
"If you miss her that much, you can kill yourself and go see her. Or if you really can’t wait, maybe she’ll come take you away herself."
"Sister, you’re joking again. A living person being given a gravestone—doesn’t that sound like a curse?"
Sophia’s hand finally paused. She lifted her head at last.
Seeing Olivia dressed in glamour and luxury, there wasn’t the slightest ripple in her eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"Aurora never died. You’ve been wronging us for all these years. Sophia, you’re truly ruthless."
Olivia leaned forward, scorn in her eyes as anger burst out. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"Your mother isn’t dead—I saw her with my own eyes. Even if it was only for a split second, I know exactly who she was. Sophia, you deliberately set yourself up as this fragile, pitiful victim—so everyone would sympathize with you, right? How did I never realize before that you’re even more despicable than I imagined?"
"Olivia, lies come with consequences. You can’t just talk nonsense."
"Sophia, do I look like I’m joking with you?"
She stared straight at the woman in front of her. There was not the slightest hint of hesitation in her gaze—only resentment.
Could it be...
Was her mother really still alive?
Her heartbeat skipped. She forced herself to stay calm.
"Whether what you’re saying is true or false, I don’t know. It’s nothing more than your one-sided story."
"Fine. Since you think this needs further verification, then do you know how I got into JL Pictures?"
"I’m not interested."
"It was Lucas. He personally arranged for me to get in."
Sophia’s eyes remained completely still—no shock at all.
"Not curious?"
"All you’re saying is meaningless nonsense."
Olivia curled her lips into a smile.
Some of these things she had only learned recently herself.
The director who contacted her had basically told her everything—that the reason she got into JL Pictures was because Lucas had deliberately placed her there, just to give her a chance to make a comeback.
Not only did the director find it baffling—she had been confused too. After thinking it over for a long time, she recalled that at the time, Lucas and Sophia’s relationship hadn’t been very good either.
So in reality, she had been nothing more than a tool he used to retaliate against Sophia. As for the real reason behind it—only Lucas himself knew.
"Lucas helped me rise, gave me a chance to turn the tables against the odds. Can you guess why? And tell me—did he ever tell you about it? My guess is... he wanted to completely win your heart first, and then throw you away, leaving you shattered and devastated."
Sophia’s hand tightened around the pen.
"And there’s one more thing. When Morgan Group fell into financial crisis back then, someone suddenly injected hundreds of millions and pulled it back from the brink. Guess who that was? You’re smart—you’ve already figured it out, haven’t you? It was Lucas too~"
With every sentence, the smugness on Olivia’s face deepened.
She had long wanted to tear apart the tough shell around Sophia—to see what was really underneath.
"Are you done?" Sophia said coldly. "If you’re done, get out."
"I’m far from done!" Olivia snapped.
"Sophia, just wait and see. One day, you’ll be played by Lucas until there’s nothing left of you—not even scraps. And when that happens, you’ll want to cry but won’t be able to, because you won’t have anyone to rely on. Not even your six children—he will never let you take them with you!"
Her words grew sharper and more venomous, as if she wished Sophia dead.
Outside the door, Amelia—who had been trembling with fear and had overheard far more than she should have—finally lost her temper and shoved the door open.
"Security, someone is causing trouble. Come up immediately."
Olivia shot her a glance and stood up with false elegance.
"So this is how you repay me right after I ’helped’ you?"
"You’re nothing but a washed-up nobody of an extra-rate actress," Amelia fired back without hesitation.
"As a so-called rich family’s daughter, you couldn’t compare to President Morgan. As a minor celebrity, you couldn’t climb anywhere respectable either—your scandals are everywhere. And now you’re trying to frame President Morgan’s husband? You’ve really got nerve. If anyone believed your garbage, even pigs would climb trees. Oh, and by the way—security only needs one minute to get up here."
Her words left Olivia completely speechless.
Olivia grabbed her bag and snorted coldly.
"Fine. Let’s just wait and see. Whether I’m lying or not—just go ask him yourself and you’ll know."
With that, she walked away in her high heels, a smug smile on her face.
