Chapter 63: Tell Renata About My Rebirth?

’What’s wrong with this restaurant? Why do they seem unwilling to let us dine here? How dare they treat my lady boss like this?’ Josh vented his frustration in his thoughts.

Annoyed, Josh turned to scold the waitress, but he was shocked to discover that she wasn’t a waitress.

Instead of the usual black uniform, she wore a stylish maroon knee-length dress. Her glamorous appearance reminded him of an A-list movie star from his favorite film.

’Wait, this woman said "Aurora"? She knows, Young Madam?’ he wondered as he turned to look at Aurora again.

Before Josh could ask anything, Aurora was already standing and smiling.

"Sis Renata, I thought you weren’t coming," Aurora warmly greeted Renata. She couldn’t hide her happiness at meeting her again.

After tightly embracing Renata, they released each other and began to check one another through their smiles and gazes.

"Aurora, I’m so glad to see you again. Well... well. My girl, I told you... I would be here for you every day. I’m too afraid that if I miss a day, I won’t see you..."

Renata’s smile grew wider as she held Aurora’s hands, as if worried the girl would vanish again. She visited her restaurant daily, only waiting for Aurora to arrive.

When Renata thought Aurora might never appear again in her restaurant, she was shocked beyond words to see her sitting in the corner.

Aurora’s stunning, long, ash-gray hair instantly caught Renata’s attention; she felt like she saw a goddess or an elf.

"Seriously, why are you sitting here? You should sit over there. Let’s move to my table..." Renata wrapped her arm around Aurora’s and guided her to the ’Reserved’ table.

"Of course, Sis... I already promised I would visit again," Aurora smiled as she sat beside Renata.

Aurora was so engrossed in her conversation with Renata that she forgot about Josh, who was still sitting at his table, staring at Aurora in confusion.

Later, when their order arrived, Josh finally called out to Aurora, surprising her. Noticing her apologetic expression, he smiled back.

"Do you want to dine here or over there?" he asked, signaling the waitress to hold off serving their order.

"Sis Renata, my food order has arrived. I need to return to that table—"

"Oh, no need," Renata interjected, waving to the waitstaff to move Aurora’s order to their table. "Are you with your friend?"

"Yes," Aurora replied, feeling reluctant to dine with Renata because of Josh’s presence.

As if sensing Aurora’s hesitation, Renata added, "It’s fine; you can ask him to join us." She glanced appreciatively at Josh, noting how handsome he looked. ’Is he... Aurora’s boyfriend?’

"Josh, come join us," Aurora urged him to move.

Josh remained puzzled but said nothing as he shifted to join them, settling across from Aurora.

"I’m sorry, Josh. I forgot you were here," Aurora grinned, noticing his sour expression.

"It’s okay, Aurora. I’m just confused," he replied with a smile. He continued, "Didn’t the waiter ask us to move from this table? I’m worried someone might tell us to move again."

"Someone asked you to move?" Renata chimed in, looking at Aurora with a frown.

"Yes, Sister..." Aurora smiled faintly at Renata while scolding Josh in her mind for bringing up the issue again.

Aurora added, "The waitress said this table was reserved, so we moved there. But it’s okay; that table looks fine too..." She felt concerned that Renata would scold her staff.

Renata sighed deeply and turned to see the manager standing not far from them.

"Please inform all the staff, especially the waiters. If this young lady, Aurora Spencer, comes to the restaurant, let her sit at this table. Treat her as you would treat me and Danny!" Renata instructed.

The manager was shocked to hear the young girl’s name. "Yes, ma’am, I will let them all know..." he replied, nodding before returning to his work.

Not only was the manager surprised, but Aurora was also taken aback. She couldn’t believe what she had just heard!

It was difficult for Aurora to understand why Renata treated her so similarly to how she had in her previous life as if they were best friends rather than acquaintances who had only met twice.

A whirlwind of questions raced through Aurora’s mind. ’Does she know who I am? Have I given her too many hints?’

Aurora tried to recall her encounter with Renata two weeks ago, searching for any signs that might have given her away. After reflecting on it, she found nothing.

She felt relieved.

As Aurora’s gaze fell on her black-pepper rib-eye steak, she felt a tightness in her chest. She realized she had given Renata a vital clue—this was her favorite dish, second only to Renata’s cheese pizza.

’Did Rena recognize my order?’ Aurora wondered, her hand clenching tightly as she tried to push aside her suspicions, hoping her thoughts were unfounded.

It was just a coincidence!

Aurora began to blame herself for choosing this menu, as she initially thought Renata wouldn’t come to the restaurant.

Trying to shake off her doubts, she smiled at Renata and said, "Sister, it’s fine. I don’t mind sitting at any table."

Renata replied sincerely, "It’s fine. I’ve already considered you my little sister, Aurora. So, if you ever come to this area, promise me you’ll visit me..."

Aurora felt her heart swell at those words. She had lost count of how many times Renata had shown her kindness. At that moment, she felt God had given her a sign to be honest about her rebirth with Renata.

"Thank you, Sis. I will frequently visit you once I start my internship in this area..."

"Oh, you will be starting your internship here?"

"Yes, Sis."

"Which company?" Renata felt happy at the thought of Aurora coming to this area more often.

"Stardust Group."

Renata nearly choked when she heard that. "Wh-What did you say? Stardust Group? A-Are you serious?" She couldn’t believe her ears.

’Oh my! Why does this coincidence make it even more obvious that this girl is Rory!? Rory... My dear, is that you!?’ As she heard her own words, goosebumps rose on her skin.

Renata carefully stared at Aurora’s face and tried to find other similarities between her and her late friend, Aurora Moon.
