As I demonstrated my abilities and convinced my friends it should be possible to move to our destination unhindered by anybody, even maritime guarding boats, I explained to them what we were going to get before getting there.

And it was quite a lot, especially we needed more food and camping equipment! yes, we’re doing some camping in the middle of dangerous monster-infested islands.

"Camping equipment? Don’t tell me you’re planning on staying there overnight?" Sofia asked. "Y-You can’t be serious! The islands are all very dangerous...!"

"I know they’re dangerous but yes, we are going to stay overnight," I nodded. "It’s necessary so we can keep training and hunting... If you don’t want to do it you’re free to just not come with us. I already said that before."

After I said that, Sofia’s face got redder, and she furrowed her cute eyebrows.

"D-Don’t look at me like that! I already said that I’m coming with you!" Sofia said angrily. "Anyway, let’s just get this done with already. I’m sure we cannot waste much time, despite how early in the day is today."

"Well said," I nodded, patting her head.

As she acted all grumpily, we went to the nearby mall to go shopping. Ah, finally, more modern civilization luxuries! The mall itself was immense, and just as I remember them to be, if not even bigger and even more majestic.

There were around four floors in this mall, each floor was immense and extended for several hundreds of meters, while being filled with all sorts of shops, restaurants, and more.

We went to the large market first, where we purchased a lot of snacks and food. Rice, noodles, eggs, bacon, potatoes, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, everything we could find here.

"Wow this is a treasure throve of ingredients! So many things everywhere, and so fresh!" Emeraldine said. "I thought we had plenty back home, but I suppose I was wrong? The level of variety here cannot compare to what we have back there... and so the quality!"

"Look at these, they’re called bananas! Aren’t they weird looking? Like dicks, hahaha!" Partner laughed while grabbing a large bunch of bananas. "They smell sweet though, what are they like?"

"Delicious," I said. "Let’s bring some bananas as well. Um, let’s see, do they have strawberries here? Oh, there!"

I quickly grabbed three boxes of fresh strawberries, among the many things I missed from Earth, which I had never seen in Yggdrasil yet.

Yggdrasil has a lot of magical fruits and vegetables though, among the normal ones, there’s also element-infused stuff, spiritual plants and fruits, and so on.

Some of them can be tremendously tasty too, and the meat from Yggdrasil can’t compare to that of any other world due to the quality of the monsters.

And the best part is that everyone is also really happy and impressed by this modernity, where all of these things are available just a few steps from our house.

"Oh, there’s a lot of different cheese in here..." Said Celes. "Look Nyx! Mom! There’s white cheese, and blue cheese, and this one cheese full of holes, and this other cheese..."

The boy constantly pointed at all the cheese. Well, this one wasn’t rare in Yggdrasil, we could purchase it mostly anywhere, cheese, milk, and eggs weren’t rare thankfully.

However, this variety was rare, usually the place with the most luxurious shops where we could buy food from was the Dwarven Kingdom, it was probably the most advanced place we knew about.

I’ve heard that the capital of the Empire of Light, however, is even more advanced in terms of everything, although it’s impossible that it has reached the level of a modern civilization planet like this one, heh.

I remember there being cafeterias in the Dwarven Kingdom, restaurants, and also there was a huge market where they sold food, but it wasn’t to this level anyway. Though if I compare the two, I guess I could say that the Dwarven Kingdom had its charm and things were definitely fresh.

But modernity is modernity! Taking fruits and veggies from cold refrigerators will never get old, even less when you can even buy chicken nuggets and French fries that come frozen and ready to make at any time.

"Mom, I want these! They’re chicken nuggies in the shape of dinosaurs!" Said Nyx. "They look like dragons, right?"

Nyx looked at me, grabbing a bag of dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets, she pointed at the pterodactyl while showing me the bag.

"Can we buy it pretty please?" She asked. "I like chicken nuggies!"

"Heh, okay, sure," I nodded, patting her head. "What else do you want? Oh, there’s also chicken nuggies here but they are made of fish, do you want to try them?"

"Okay!" Nyx got excited, wagging her cute, scaled tail. "I like fish too, so that combination sounds great! Oooh! What are those over there, mama?"

She pointed at a box filled with colorful ice cream lollipops made out of fresh fruit juice, they were colorful and attractive to children’s eyes.

"It’s ice cream," I said. "But not made of cream, these are made of frozen juice instead. they’re quire refreshing, let’s bring some."

"Ice cream! I love ice cream! We used to eat sometimes back home too!" Nyx said happily.

Nobody was a stranger to various luxuries, however. I have done my best to recreate a lot of stuff from Earth, ice cream was a pretty easy one. I’ve also given everyone other things such as sweet cakes with white cream and berries, cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies, and more.

About chocolate, it exists in Yggdrasil, though it’s rare and expensive, we’re growing cacao trees inside the dungeon farms within the Dwarven Mountains, and they’ve finally become more widespread and not as expensive.

But the chocolate of this place? It beats it by a mile!

"Look, white chocolate!" Nyx said. "Ooh! What’s this?! Chocolate with cookies inside! I want this mama! Mama! Mamaaa!"

"I know, I also want some of that, hehe, let’s buy a lot!" I giggled.

I felt like a little kid again.
