The moon was it’s peak. A certain man was rushing through the bushes as if their lives depended on it. The wind blew cold.

Then he stopped when he was a mile away from the main camp. Then another man met up with him.

"They were captured. You’re mom and your sister." The man said with the other man he mentioned.

"Quiet down. You’re not alone."

The man who just ran away from the camp froze up. He looked behind him, but there was no one. "I made sure that no one followed me. Everyone was asleep and no one saw me."

"Show yourself."

From behind a tree, Freyah was going to reveal herself but she paused. When another man stepped up first. Her eyes squinted seeing the man who just appeared.

’How did they get here? Ah. No. They were even followed me here.’

The man who appeared right now was the sniper guy from before.

"Who are you?"

The two men stepped behind. Their hands were ready to take out the weapons they had.

"I’m Rudy. And I came as an ally. Our boss wanted to meet you two." The sniper guy said.

"The two looked at each other."

"Do you think we will believe you just like that?" The man who seemed to be the leader of the two said with caution.

"We have one common energy. Two of your people got caught by those at the top of the camp correct?"

"How did you know that?"

"I’ve overheard." Rudy said. "We can help you get them back."

"Alright. But I have one condition," the man threw a syringe to Rudy. "Give me some of your blood here and we will come with you to meet your boss."

Rudy grinned. Then he immediately injected himself some of his blood. Then he threw the syringe back at the man. The men caught it swiftly then grinned.

"My name is Louie," the man with the syringe introduced himself. "This is Edgar."

"Louie, Edgar, can we go now?"

"Yes, lead the way, Rudy." Louie said. The three men walked ahead the road. There was a van waiting for them. Freyah followed behind then stayed hidden at a distance. Another man went down the van, then they shook hands with Louie and Edgar. Then they invited them to go inside the van.

Freyah’s eyes squinted as she read all the statutuses of the people that was down. Then the van closed the door and started to drive away in the road. Freyah looked around... She didn’t have any vehicle to follow through the van.

But she knew one thing, things could get more dangerous this time. Since she had seen most of their skills, she could prepare. But there were more people on the van that she might not be aware of.

"Those people are ready to kill." Freyah clenched her fist as she watched the van getting away. "Not just zombies... What am I thinking? This time they should disappeared right away." Her eyes glowed red. She immediately rushed to the camp to get a motorcycle, grabbed a rocket launcher, guns and grenades.

She looked at her watch. It was only 2:00 in the morning. She immediately rushed the motorcycle to the direction of where the van went through. It was heading towards Luboc.

A city that was nearer the airport.

Freyah had gone back and forth there since past three months. So it seemed that the armed men just arrived recently at Bohol. She was now seeing the van.

She brought out two a gun from her back. She remembered how they suddenly attack her back at Harley’s house. If she was a step late, Florence could have been seriously injured. They didn’t even hesitated when they rained knives on her.

’Another Regressor? Let’s see what you got, whoever you are?’ She stopped the motorcycle when the van was already on her sight. Then brought the launcher over her right shoulder.

Then she pointed the rocket launcher with precision to the van. Without a moment of hesitation, she fired it right away.

Boom!

It hit the van causing it to swivel and turned over the right side. But Freyah knew that the people there won’t easily be gone.

The sniper guy came out from the bushes. Along with the two guys he brought with him before.

"So it is you." Rudy said as he looked at Freyah.

"You’re not even surprised." Freyah said.

"You just tried to kill us." Louie said utterly shocked.

"Yes it is." Freyah said, her voice was cold. "But I can’t leave murderers alone in this world. They are far more dangerous than a mindless zombies."

"Murderers, what are you saying?" Louie said. "You even kidnapped my mom and younger sister at the camp." freewёbnoνel-com

"So you really have done your observations." Freyah chuckled. "But I also did mine. You know, the secret base that you have. I did some cleaning."

Louie’s eyes widened.

"You. What did you do?"

"It’s normal to kill zombies." Freyah said, provoking him even more.

"Hah. You crazy bitch." Louie injected the blood he got from Rudy. "Kill that girl and bring me her head."

As soon as he said that Rudy was surprised. His body had started to move on their own, as if it was being controlled.

’What a nasty skill it is.’ Freyah brought down the rocket launcher. Then brought out her grenades. As soon as Rudy ran to her with guns on his hands, she jumped back, pulled the trigger of two grenades at the same time, then threw one at Rudy and the other one to the two guys behind.

Rudy jumped away. While Louie and Edgar looked at the grenade with wide eyes. However, a man grabbed their collar, and they jumped away from the grenade.

Multiple explosions echoed through the silent road with the moon as the only light. The next thing was, Freyah brought out two guns and fired at them rapidly, giving them no break.

Rudy gritted his teeth as he raised his hand. The bullets that was heading to his direction, teleported back at Freyah. Freyah evaded some of the bullets but some still hit her.

Rudy, then brought out his gun. Then fired rapidly at Freyah. Then after that, he threw one knife and that one knife turned into twenty knives in an instant. Freyah hid behind her motorcycle. Then Rudy used this chance, he pointed his left hand to the people behind him.

Then in an instant, they disappeared.

"Hah. Impressive. Truly Impressive. Two awakened skills." Freyah looked at the van that was only left behind.

She removed the knife that was plunged to some part of her body. Then the bullets one by one. Now, her clothes was a mess again. So that was why, that kid wanted to stab Florence. To get some blood on him and try to control him.

"What a nasty skill." Freyah steadied her motorcycle that has some damage now. She turned it on, then after a few minutes it finally turned on.

She immediately jumped into it. Then turned around. She looked one more time at the van, then wore her helmet. "With those injuries, I won’t be seeing them some time. However, I need to do some cleaning in the camp."

Freyah drove the motorcycle back at the camp. But during midway, the motor stopped working. Then as she checked what’s causing the issue, there was a damage on the gas, it was leaking.

She looked ahead. There were still 8km before she reached the camp. "Well, whatever." She turned on her flashlight, then made a run for it rather than getting stuck in the middle of the night.

Talibon, Bohol.

San Roque Village

"Thank you for saving my life."

Gwenette covered a blanket to the young girl who was still shaking.

"We are surprised. Truly." Monica said. "It’s a good thing you make it here."

"Yes." The girl nodded her head. "How are the people who are with me?"

"They are now being treated." Monica said. "Soon, they should be able to recover."

"Thank goodness," the teenage girl sighed.

"What happened?"

"We were attacked by horrifying monster. We barely made it out alive and before I knew it, we saw your village."

"You’re safe here now," Gwenette said.

"What’s your name?" Monica said. "I’m Monica, and that’s Gwenette."

"Paula." The teenage girl looked at them. "Thank you for saving my life."

Gwenette’s eyes squinted at her words. "You should rest now. If you need anything just call us."

"Yes. Thank you, Ate Gwenette."

Gwenette pulled Monica out of the room. When they were far enough where no one could hear them anymore..

"What’s the matter, Gwen?" Monica asked a little annoyed.

"That girl, other than her name. Everything she said was a lie."
