Return With the Billionaire Baby Daddy-Chapter 65: afraid of losing you
Hannah fell silent and restless, staring at her phone repeatedly, waiting for a message or call from Samuel, but she didn’t receive anything at all.
"Does he like me or not? Why does he only want to contact me when we’re about to meet? When he’s going to expose me? Does that mean he just sees me as his slut?" she wondered, but suddenly her phone rang, only to find out it was a call from Damian.
"Damian..."
She quickly answered the call.
"Hello?"
"Hannah, please open the back door, I’m in the backyard," Damian requested over the phone.
Hannah immediately stood up, furrowing her brow, and then walked towards the bedroom door.
"You’re here? Won’t this make Valerie angry?"
"She’s already angry with me, so I have no choice but to meet her. I need to talk to her."
"Okay... She seems troubled too, she looks gloomy," Hannah said, crossing several rooms until she reached the kitchen and opened the door leading to the backyard.
She quickly ended the call and saw Damian, who looked mysterious in a black robe with a head covering and mask.
"You look like a spy," she said.
Damian smiled faintly as he removed his mask. "It’s my effort to ensure no one follows me. Everything feels unsafe now that my father knows I still have a relationship with Valerie. You have to stay on my side, okay?"
Hannah just nodded, and then Damian immediately walked toward Valerie’s room. He didn’t waste the opportunity and quickly took a picture of her from behind and sent it to Samuel.
Damian here, meeting Valerie. I think they’re still infatuated, so they can’t be apart for a moment
"He’ll surely be upset and hate Valerie even more," she thought to herself, smiling, then returned to her room.
...
Damian successfully entered Valerie’s room, seeing her sleeping sideways as she was nursing Daniel, who had already fallen asleep.
"Oh God, that’s beautiful. How could I let them go just for Karina? They’re more precious than anything."
He breathed heavily, then removed his robe and blue shirt, leaving him bare-chested and wearing black pants. The man lay next to Valerie, then embraced her from behind in a sideways position.
Valerie furrowed her brow, realizing someone’s presence as she opened her eyes and glimpsed the firm hand wrapped around her stomach. She immediately sat up and turned, realizing it was Damian.
"How did you get here?" she asked in panic.
Damian quickly sat down, but his right leg descended to the floor due to the narrow bed.
"Of course, I can come. Didn’t I say I would come anytime, even late at night?" He raised his eyebrows, then glanced at Valerie’s right breast hanging freely without a bra.
Valerie pouted as she fastened the buttons of her blue pajamas. "You shouldn’t have come. I think we don’t need to continue this relationship."
"You can’t change your mind again... I don’t want us to give up just because you’re afraid of my father," Damian said anxiously. "Please... Don’t talk about this again. It will be my responsibility to handle it. You just need to wait and be calm, focus on yourself and our son," he continued, his eyes pleading.
Valerie bit her lower lip and looked down.
Damian held her chin, then leaned towards her lips and kissed her gently, but suddenly Valerie hugged him tightly.
"I’m confused!" Valerie whispered.
"I know... But everything will be fine," Damian replied calmly, his gaze straight ahead, and his hands embracing Valerie’s back. "I just want to be with you and not think about anything right now..."
"What if he does something to my family?"
"He won’t do anything, he’s not that evil..."
Valerie released her embrace and looked at Damian, who looked so handsome as if making her more afraid to lose him.
"I want to let you go because I don’t want to struggle. I don’t want to constantly be in difficulty, especially if it will have a bad impact on my family too. But I’m so stupid because I still want you," she said, her face turning away.
Damian smiled. "I like that... That’s why I love you."
Valerie glanced back at Damian.
"Don’t ignore me again, I’m so confused," Damian whispered, stroking Valerie’s cheek.
"I’m confused too, but when you’re here, I feel calm now," Valerie replied, leaning her head on Damian’s shoulder.
"I will come often."
"Don’t..."
"I will come often so you can be calm... So you can focus on your task."
"I think I won’t be able to do anything if you’re near me," Valerie said, looking at Damian who was so close to her face, then pinching his little nipple. "You will distract me..."
Damian smiled. "You know what I want."
"Sex?" Valerie glanced at Damian, pouting. "Is that why you’re here?"
"No... I didn’t come for that at all."
"Then what?"
Damian fell silent, hesitant to talk about Karina. ’If I mention Karina’s condition, I’m worried she’ll back off from fighting for our relationship because she’ll pity her, or even distance herself from me. No, that can’t happen,’ he thought anxiously.
"Damian?" Valerie moved her head away from his shoulder.
"Um..." Damian swallowed his saliva. "I came because I’m worried you’ll change your mind after receiving threats from my father."
"Just because of that?"
"Yes..." Damian nodded, then held Valerie’s arm. "I want you to always be confident and continue to maintain our relationship. Remember that this is not just for our happiness, but also Daniel’s."
Valerie turned to look at Daniel, who was sleeping so soundly, his mouth occasionally moving as if sucking on breast milk.
"He’s so much like me, and he already has desires," Damian said.
"What desires?"
"Sister."
Valerie immediately looked at Damian.
"He wants a baby sister," Damian said with a smile, raising his eyebrows.
Valerie stared, seemingly shocked. "How is that possible? How could he think of that?"
Damian shrugged. "I don’t know, I just explained about a sister, an older sister, or a younger sister. Then yesterday I explained about desire, and then I asked about what he wanted most..."
He glanced at Daniel. "And he wants a sister."
Valerie sighed, still shocked.
Damian reached out to stroke Daniel’s sweaty hair. "He’ll get a baby sister or baby brother when we get married," he said with a smile.
"It sounds like just a dream," Valerie replied weakly, remembering Darius’s dislike of her.
"Nothing is impossible, Darling."
"Your father hates me."
Damian sighed, focusing back on Valerie and stroking her cheek, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear.
"When I want you, I have to be with you, not with Karina or anyone else, and I don’t care about those who oppose our relationship," he said seriously. "You know I’m still trying, right?"
"What if your way doesn’t work?" Valerie asked.
"We will still get married."
"Do you have a time limit for your efforts?"
Damian fell silent, then remembered Karina, who was dying. "Maybe a few months."
"A few months?"
"I’ll try as soon as possible," Damian said with a smile. "Why are you so impatient? Do you want to become my wife soon and give a baby to Daniel?" he teased with a smile as if trying to change the subject.
Valerie blushed, shaking her head.
Damian chuckled, then gently embraced her and kissed her lips fondly.
