Chapter 560: Chapter 558: MEETING WITH THE TWINS

Diamond finished her meeting with the organizers a pretty bit late.

She also dined at the club and ate her fill before she departed for home.

It was very late, and she knew that her parents would worry. So, she hurried home without putting herself in danger.

On her way home, she received a call from Gael. She had been talking a lot with him and, to be honest, the young man was a darling.

[Although I can’t come to your birthday this time, I have sent your present. It should arrive in a few days. My mother will get in touch with you,] he informed her over the phone.

When Diamond heard that a present was on its way, she beamed with happiness.

She didn’t expect Gael to send her anything. After all, they were just friends without any signs of dating.

In fact, Gael in her eyes was a small brother who was very busy. As for romantic feelings, there were none.

She didn’t think that Gael harbored any feelings for her as well. Otherwise, he would have hinted at her all this time.

Anyway, she was happy about the news. As for meeting Aunt Grace, she would face the enthusiastic woman when the time came.

When Diamond’s car drove into the complex, it was around 9 pm going towards 10 pm.

She didn’t know if they would be awake by now, or sleeping. She would see once she got there.

Diamond parked the car in the garage, picked up her things from the car, alighted, and locked the car.

Once that was done, she carried her bag and made her way into the house.

"Sis is here!"

"Diamond!"

And what welcomed her were the familiar noisy voices that she had been hearing over the phone.

How come these girls weren’t sleeping yet?

She cried out in her head as she saw the cannonballs flying towards her.

Seeing them so enthusiastic like that, Diamond could only plaster a smile on her face as she opened her arms for the girls.

How could she act cruel and as if she wasn’t happy to see them when she knew how happy she was?

"You are here!" she exclaimed with a twinkle in her eyes as the twins entered her embrace.

Feeling the two soft bodies in her arms, all the fatigue vanished.

Beautiful people who smell nice with good bodies were the panacea to tiredness.

"Um. Did you miss us?"

"Hehe, are you happy to see us?"

Diamond rubbed the twins’ heads roughly, making them groan dissatisfiedly, pulling away from her complaining.

Diamond laughed heartily at hearing the girls’ complaints like that.

Seeing them, she couldn’t help but feel that the house was going to be nosy until they were gone.

Looking at them as she walked further into the house, with the twins following her, she asked curiously, "Don’t you have school?"

It was Tuesday, and the week was just starting and yet these two came to her party. Weren’t they skipping classes?

The twins grinned as they skipped happily by Diamond’s side and answered, "We have school. It’s not like we can fail after missing a few days. Besides, we took leave. So, you don’t have to worry about that."

Diamond gazed at the girls suspiciously when she heard that. Seeing their sister’s doubt, the girls began to explain themselves, proving their statements and their actions made the old couple who had been waiting for Diamond chuckle with amusement.

Who knew that there were such nosy, no, hyperactive kids like that?

The contrast between the twins and the Perry sisters was too much. It made the couple have a headache.

Diamond rolled her eyes at the twins hearing their defense and walked towards her parents with a smile on her face.

"Good evening or should I say night, Mom and Dad?" a crinkle in her eyes as she said so.

The couple beamed at their daughter, seeing that she was doing well. They were worried when they learnt that she was returning late.

"Whatever you see fit will do," Belinda answered playfully as she motioned for Diamond to sit next to her.

Diamond obediently sat next to her mother with a smile before she looked at Ruby, who greeted her.

Diamond answered the younger sister she loved the most. As for Garnet, she had returned to her room, dealing with some café issues, she heard.

Diamond looked at her parents and then the twins, who looked more at home as if they were residents, and felt amazed at how quickly they all adapted.

"Mom and Dad, I guess you have met the twins already," she said to her parents, despite knowing that they already knew everything.

With Ruby at home, how could they not know anything?

Her parents nodded with a smile, showing fondness towards the naughty identical twins.

"Um, they are good kids," Belinda responded as she looked at the twins affectionately.

From the second they arrived at the villa, she had been smiling and laughing all the time.

Such kids. Who couldn’t love them?

"Hehe, we love you Aunty and Uncle!" the girls said shyly, making hearts on top of their heads as if expressing in words wasn’t enough.

Seeing how carefree the twins were when facing her parents, Diamond was at ease. She didn’t want anyone in her house to feel discomfort.

With the introductions out of the way, Diamond began to share with her family about what she was up to. At least, late into the night.

When everyone heard that the venue was all ready and everything was going according to plan, they all felt relieved.

It would be a mess if things went awry at the last minute.

It was late already, so once the parents saw that everyone was at home, they excused themselves and retired for the night.

With the elders going to bed, only the youngsters excluding Garnet remained behind.

Seeing her parents gone, Ruby felt that it was the right moment to ask Diamond the question that had been bothering her for hours.

She didn’t think that she would sleep without getting the answers that she needed. freёnovelkiss.com

She just hoped that her sister would have the answers she needed.

She had always been good at explaining and making things clear.

She trusted her completely on that matter.
