The sound of the gun startled the three goblins.

They paused and looked at each other; upon seeing that there was nothing wrong, they looked at Noah as if they had found a new prey.

"Shit!"

Noah cursed as he involuntarily made a step back.

BANG!

Firing another shot, he still missed the mark as panic rose through his heart.

Meanwhile, the goblins ignored the resounding sound of the gun as they charged toward Noah with ferocity.

"HELP!"

Desther sighed and could not help but look at Lexie, waiting for her to make a decision.

This was already out of their plan, and there was no way he would act like a hero saving the two of them from their own mistake.

With that in place, Desther controlled his strength and struck the goblin’s kneecap. The goblin’s knee snapped like a twig, and as it was falling, Desther made a chopping motion toward its nape.

The goblin was completely immobilized, but he decided not to kill it yet.

He looked to the side and realized that Lexie was already in front of the remaining goblin. For some reason, even though she had the capability to do so, she did not kill the goblin immediately as well.

The situation turned to normal as Noah and Elena finally heaved a sigh of relief. Their faces, though, were pale, and it was apparent that they felt they were done for earlier.

Both of them slumped to the ground, exhausted and fear still apparent on their faces.

"Get up, finish this goblin," Desther said as he looked at Noah.

Noah was confused but, nevertheless, picked up his gun and, with trembling hands, pointed the muzzle toward the goblin’s head.

"O...okay!"

BANG!

Desther frowned at the sight of it.

’What the hell... That’s already an immobile target. The muzzle is already pointing toward the head directly. How could he still not hit it?’ He thought incredulously as he saw the bullet hole right beside the goblin’s head.

"S-s-sorry," this time, Noah adjusted his aim and moved the muzzle even more closer toward the goblin’s head.

BANG!

Desther finally heaved a sigh of relief upon seeing the notification flash in front of his eyes.

He was actually worried that Noah would still not be able to hit it. After all, the muzzle was only a few centimeters away from the goblin’s head.
