SSS Awakening: I Can Steal Attributes-Chapter 32: Huge Detour?
"My skill," Desther simply answered as he turned to look at the other goblin.
Ignoring the kill notification, Desther used Theft Mark and Attribute Theft at the same time toward the other goblin.
Desther was not greedy and did not try to steal the kill.
After Lexie and the others recovered from their shock, they proceeded to kill the remaining goblin, allowing each and every one of them to open their Profile Status.
This time, none of them earned any experience points.
None of them thought about it, though, since not being able to gain experience points for every kill was a natural occurrence.
While the others volunteered to take the goblin ears for experience, Desther decided to check his attribute harvest.

Both goblins only give him one attribute each. Their highest attribute was the Agility attribute, totaling 4; 2 were stolen with Attribute Theft, and then 1 remained as his reward for eliminating each goblin.
These two were weaker compared to the one they’ve faced before.
All in all, Desther now has a total of 29 Free Attribute points that he could freely allocate.
"Now that we have already unlocked all of our Profile Status, our mission and goal for entering this dungeon are essentially over." Lexie stashed the goblin ears away and looked at the three of them.
"We have two choices moving forward. First, we can rush toward the exit portal and conclude today’s activity. Second, we can try to hunt more goblins and see if we could earn some experience points and possibly level up."
"What do you guys think?"
Both have their pros and cons.
However, if Desther were the one to decide, he would not waste any more time staying here needlessly.
If experience points were what they were after, they could just go to the outside world and enter unregulated dungeons.
After all, it was a well-known fact that the experience points acquisition rate was much higher when professionals killed monsters for the first time in an unregulated dungeon.
Unregulated dungeons, as their name suggests, were also not owned by anyone. Meaning, anyone who enters it, if they could clear and break the dungeon core, that would be an equivalent to earning a lot of experience points.
Doing so also doesn’t have any repercussions, and no one would suddenly demand you pay for the dungeon fees and everything when you successfully clear an unregulated dungeon.
After a moment of discussion, the party unanimously decided to call it a day and return to the real world via the exit portal.
None of them were greedy.
Even Noah did not feel the need to stay in the dungeon any longer, even though he was envious of Lexie and Elena gaining some.
As stated by school and other professionals, inside a dungeon, endless greed can lead to endless trouble.
Besides, the school would surely conduct an event for them to peacefully farm experience points in the future.
Today’s mission was just to unlock their Profile Status, so the group planned to do just that.
Since it was decided, the group did not linger any longer and moved toward their destination.
A few moments later, they encountered another set of goblin tracks, but as decided, they ignored them and moved forward.
Since all of them were able to kill a monster inside this dungeon, the four of them could now instinctively sense the direction of the exit portal.
Having nothing to worry about getting lost inside the dungeon, the four of them proceed peacefully.
The group-type dungeon was quite enormous, though. After moving for almost an hour, they sensed that the Exit Portal was still a distance away.
This time, the group decided to stop under the shade of a huge tree.
While Noah and Elena sat in exhaustion, Lexie decided to inspect the surroundings while Desther observed their actions out of the corner of his eyes.
A moment later, Lexie returned bearing some news.
"I found some Goblin droppings and some footmarks. Judging by the numbers, I estimate around fifteen or twenty of them."
Noah and Elena visibly tensed the moment they heard her remarks.
"In that case, as usual, we just ignore it and continue forward?" Noah asked with a tense voice.
Individually, goblins were weak creatures and could be killed as long as one was careful enough.
However, goblins multiply easily. And their strength lies in just that aspect. Too many of them could pose trouble to even veteran professionals. How much for them, who only began to kill their first monsters a few moments ago?
Lexie shook her head after hearing his words.
"The thing is, this group of goblins is actually blocking our way forward."
She took out the map and laid it on the ground for everyone to see. She then pointed at one particular area and continued.
"We’re probably around this area by now. Judging by the tracks, the only possible location this group of goblins is camping should be around here. However, this is only a rough estimate of their location. If we do a little detour, there is still a high chance of encountering them."
"With such a number, goblin scouts should already be present in their midst, and getting spotted by them from afar is a huge possibility."
She sighed and waited for a bit. She did not wait for them to respond as she told them the cold truth.
"No matter how prepared we are, there is no way we could face this group of goblins without any injuries like before."
"Hence, the only solution for us is through here," Lexie stated, sliding her fingers across the map.
"A huge detour in this area. However, doing this also meant spending more time traveling. This also means that it will be more exhausting for us. There is also a high chance of us encountering more goblins along the way."
"But compared to facing those dozens of goblins, I actually prefer this huge detour setup. What do you guys think?" Lexie asked after explaining everything to them.
Noah could only offer a wry smile. Even Elena felt that there was no need to say anymore.
Lexie had already told them everything. They would be extremely foolish to go against her idea when it was already that laid out.
Desther also felt the same. And he could not agree more regarding that set-up. Although it would be more exhausting, it was much safer and more stable compared to facing dozens of goblins.
However, just as he was about to nod to her in agreement, a sudden notification suddenly flashed right in front of his eyes.
[Chosen One]
[Mission: Eliminate 30 Goblins inside this dungeon.]
’Oh hell no!’
