Supreme BeastTamer: I Can Copy and Upgrade Skills 10x!-Chapter 672: Ripple Effect
Chapter 672: Ripple Effect
Nox and Vraxx broke off from their temporary stallmate and clashed once more.
Every time they clashed, a ripple spread out from their point of contact, causing a shockwave to spread in all directions.
Tightening his grip on Glacier’s End, Nox applied even more force with each strike, forcing the demon lord back.
The demon lord felt an unstoppable tremble coursing through his veins.
A deep frown appeared on his face as he noticed that small cracks were beginning to form along his massive sword.
After reaching level 100, it was safe to say most level 100s were no longer a match for Nox.
So, with one powerful strike, he destroyed the giant’s sword, shattering it into several pieces.
A look of horror flashed through the demon lord’s eyes as he staggered back.
Nox pointed his blade at the retreating demon and said in a deep voice,
"I’ll give you a chance to confirm your miserable life," he said. "But for that to happen, you’ll have to take me to the teleportation circle that leads to the next floor."
"Don’t kill me, I’ll take you there right now!" the demon lord said, relenting far quicker than Nox had anticipated.
"Good. Lead the way," Nox said.
The demon lord proceeded to lead Nox and Jared through the plain and arrived before the teleportation circle located in the castle.
"Step on it and it will take you to the next floor," the demon lord said.
"Thank you." Nox turned his back toward him.
"Are you just going to let him leave?" Jared whispered in his ear as they stood on the teleportation circle.
"Of course not." A small smirk appeared on Nox’s face as he snapped his fingers. As he did, a thin frost thread quickly wrapped around the demon lord’s neck.
The thread emitted a chilling aura. Vraxx’s eyes widened in shock as he hurriedly clutched his neck, trying to get rid of the threads. However, the more he struggled, the tighter the thread became.
It slowly sank into his skin.
The demon’s eyes widened further as he watched the two humans proceed to the next floor, intense hatred shining in his gaze.
The next moment, a sound similar to a rope being snapped echoed, and the demon lord shot forward into the air.
Before they were transported, Nox received the familiar kill notification along with shop points.
Just a few seconds later, the two appeared on the next floor, which looked like a world of its own.
However, there was not much difference between this floor and the last one.
Perhaps the only difference was that there were more humanoids roaming about, and they seemed to possess a certain level of intellect.
"Is that another portal?" Jared suddenly pointed at a distant mountain range.
Nox’s gaze quickly snapped toward that direction, and he noticed a portal similar to the one they had come through—only this time, demons were actively entering it.
It didn’t take long for both of them to figure out that this portal led to the human domain.
Right at that moment, Nox suddenly had a plan. He was not the only one who had thought of it—Jared’s eyes glinted as well.
"Are you thinking what I’m thinking?" Jared smirked.
"Yes." Nox nodded. "The fastest way to end this war is to close down every one of these portals, cutting off the reinforcements of the demons."
The green-haired boy’s eyes glimmered. "Exactly my thoughts."
Without wasting a moment, Nox summoned his demonic wings and, with one powerful flap, shot toward the mountain range.
When he was hovering just above the portal, he stretched out his arms and murmured under his breath,
’Shadows Oblivion.’
BOOM!
The moment Nox’s [Shadows Oblivion] obliterated the portal’s core, the ripple effect was instantaneous.
The swirling portal trembled violently before snapping shut with a thunderous crack. All across the battlefield, demons who were preparing to step out from similar portals suddenly found their gateways collapsing right before their eyes.
The confused demons looked around, anger blazing in their eyes. Their gazes soon settled on the figure hovering above them.
Growl! Growl!
The demons emitted bestial growls.
However, Nox had already prepared for this and proceeded to unleash more destructive attacks.
After annihilating all the demons in that spot, Nox and Jared went on portal hunting, destroying every portal in sight.
Somewhere in Snowhelm.
An army of humans was locked in a brutal confrontation against an army of demons.
The humans had been pushed to the brink; hundreds of their comrades had already died.
One of the soldiers growled as he cut down a demon. "They just keep coming and—"
Pop!
Suddenly, the nearest portal cracked and vanished, stunning both sides.
"What... what’s happening?" the voice of a high-ranking officer trembled as he realized the reinforcements had been cut off. His eyes darted around, but there was nothing—no new waves, no backup.
The human captain, bloodied and barely standing, tightened his grip on his sword. A grin slowly spread across his face.
"Looks like someone’s working behind the scenes," he growled. "This... this is our chance! Push them back!"

Tristan Kingdom.
On the frontlines, human soldiers who had been struggling desperately against the endless onslaught suddenly found themselves frozen in disbelief.
"The portal... it’s gone?" one soldier muttered, his voice barely audible over the fading sounds of battle.
"They’re... they’re not coming through anymore!" another warrior exclaimed, his eyes wide as he stared at the now-empty space where demons should have appeared.
The demons who were already on the battlefield growled in confusion, their heads snapping from side to side as if trying to understand why their reinforcements had suddenly vanished.
Meanwhile, Nox was relentless.
He tore through the sky like a black meteor, obliterating portal after portal.
Each time, he would descend briefly, unleash a devastating [Shadows Oblivion], and vanish before the demons could react.
One after another, like a chain reaction, the portals snapped shut.
The demon soldiers across the realms were thrown into disarray, their eyes filled with disbelief as they watched the steady collapse of their invasion routes. fгeewebnovёl.com

Watching the scene unfold, Awakened from all six kingdoms were shocked, confused, and relieved at the same time.
"Are the demons retreating?"
"No, they’re not. Look at the shock in their eyes. They have no idea what’s happening either."
In the Vermilion Kingdom, a deep frown appeared on Number Two’s face when he saw a portal snap shut in the distance.
"This... this is not good. Someone is definitely tampering with the portals."
