At around 8:am, while Alanis and his wife were having a peaceful breakfast, A black Prado along with seven other military trucks arrived at the Hamilton family estate.

Everyone stepped out of their respective villas to see what was happening except the two married villains, eating peacefully in their homes.

Though they rarely spoke to each other, they weren’t fighting as always again. Alanis enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere with his wife who looked very careful with everything she was doing.

If she thinks she can escape another punishment from him then she must be joking.

He dropped a spoon, a small click against the table. Then he wiped his lips with a napkin before staring up at the woman who looked almost done with her breakfast.

"Can I make this breakfast more romantic?" Harlow looked up at him wondering what he was up to this time. She rolled her eyes immediately, "Don’t make this even more awkward." She said.

"Can we finally talk about last night?" He asked and she wondered which part of the night he wanted to talk about.

"There’s nothing to talk about," Harlow said calmly dabbing her lips with the napkin. This is the moment where she walked away and maybe used work as an excuse, but it was the weekend and Hamilton Corp was closed.

"Why, it’s not my fault you let him touch you." He said to earn a glare from her.

"It’s not my fault either, I didn’t know it was him." She said.

"Oh you did know and you still let him touch you, not only on your hands, but you let your bodies touch." Alanis couldn’t hide his jealousy anymore, that was why he acted like he did. He acted like every man would to their woman.

That stupid boy didn’t have the right to touch what was his.

"I had no idea he was going to do that." Harlow tried to explain but the man before her raised his hands to stop her from speaking. She knew this would happen, just when she thought she had escaped from his punishment.

"According to the rules we both set..."

"They’re your rules, not mine," Harlow said. He had created rules that would favor him and not her which to her was unfair. Most times it feels like those rules are not even in their agreement.

"It’s not my fault I make sure not to break any of the rules in there. You see, when it comes to following rules, I’m good at that." He said proudly.

"Now, concerning your punishment." Alanis was about to speak when Ava rushed towards them. With a bow, she said, "Master Alanis, there are so many military men at the door demanding we open it."

Before Alanis could react to her words...

"Harlow! Elisa’s scream was heard.

"You better come out now you imbecile." She yelled. Both Alanis and his wife exchanged glances.

"Go to your room, Ava, we’ll handle it ourselves.

"Elisa please calm down and tell us what is happening." Grandma Hamilton asked. She ran out of her Villa because of the commotion too, only last where they all celebrating as a family, she even heard from her assistant that Alanis had announced being married to George without her knowledge and now, Elisa was here with multiple soldiers to attack Harlow.

"Stay out of this Charlotte this is not your fight," Elisa said banging Harlow’s door again.

"Come out you foolish child, else I’ll break the door myself." She yelled. All of the maids and servants gathered at a corner watching the scene unfold.

"I knew one at that arrogant madam Harlow would get herself into trouble and that day is today." The first person said.

"This looks so bad for her." Another person said.

"What do you think she must have done this time." Another asked as they all stared at each other, no one had any idea what had happened or why Elisa was causing a huge commotion in the Hamilton’s estate.

It’s no news the Blackwoods have the highest power in the city and Elisa was here today to put Harlow where she belongs. With her mother.

She had had enough of this girl, enough is enough today. She would show Harlow that she has no power or right to do anything.

While Elisa barked like a lost dog outside, inside the Villa were Harlow and Alanis who stared at her calmly.

"What’s going on?" Alanis feigned ignorance as he stared at his wife.

"My stepmother is probably here to attack me after beating her daughter last night," Harlow said nonchalantly.

"Why did you beat her up?" Alanis asked still acting like he had no idea why.

"Why Mr Hamilton? Already picking her side?" Harlow asked to see him frown. He didn’t know what he needed to do to show this woman how much he loved her. Claudia was his last mistake, a mistake he would never make again. "You should have used the dagger on her instead, would have made a lot of sense wouldn’t it?" Harlow looked up at him.

How did he know Claudia tried to use a dagger to kill her?

"You saw?" She asked and he nodded.

"Everything." Alanis smiled. "I had no idea you were so good at fighting." He teased to see her smile. For the first time since he met her again, Harlow smiled genuinely. This was enough to make his day.

"But not my sweet villain, had gotten herself into trouble." He said to see her smile falter.

"I’ll handle it," Harlow said calmly.

"No, you won’t. Cause any trouble you want to cause, and I’ll be here to protect you." He said.

"I don’t need your protection." She said.

"Of course you do." Alanis rose from his chair as he stretched his hands for her to take. They had an urgent matter that needed their attention, for now, they could continue their play later.

Harlow took his hands and they started walking towards the door.

"You don’t want to come out Harlow?" Elisa yelled.

"Break the door!

"Break the door!" She commanded the military men, but before they could do as asked, the double doors of the Villa swung open to the couple stepping out.

Alanis stepped out of the Villa with his wife, a smile hanging on his lips as he watched the gigantic military men and his mother-in-law.
