Elisa commanded her men to do so, but before they could move or do anything, the double doors opened to the most powerful couple of Halkhalls. The sheer authority coming from both people can make anyone tremble.

"Elisa." Harlow called surprised she had spent a lot of money to be this dramatic today.

"This is the fool, seize her." Elisa yelled and five soldiers launched towards Harlow. They were all surprised she had come all the way to their camp and demanded for 50 soldiers, stating at there was a terrorist in her family. Only for the terrorist to be a cute little woman.

"Lay a finger on her and I’ll make sure to cut them off." Alanis’s voice was cold and dark with an underlined threat in it.

The soldiers paused finally realizing who was standing before them and their eyes went wide. Alanis Hamilton.

They were seeing Alanis Hamilton in flesh and blood.

"This is not your call anymore Alanis. If you know what this woman here has done, you will not protect her." Elisa said.

Alanis stared at the woman, his lazy eyes lingering on her. This stupid woman, she really has no idea who he was in the future. For a man with so much power in the future and now he has returned to the past, did they think he wouldn’t acquire such power in a shorter time?

"Alanis hush. Elisa is not one to react like this, Harlow must have done something really terrible this time, you would get yourself in serious trouble if you keep supporting her." Garth was the one to speak this time glaring at the girl. She couldn’t wait for Elisa to put this girl in her place finally.

"Last night after the Gala, Harlow had taken Claudia to a corner to apologize but this dimwit here beat my drunk daughter so badly and in that process, Claudia had a miscarriage," Elisa said.

"Claudia was pregnant with a child, yet this wicked witch showed no mercy." Harlow’s eyes were wide for a second and then back to normal. She had no idea Claudia was pregnant, if she did, she would never have hurt her in any way.

"Harlow killed not only the first grandchild of the Blackwood family, but the first grandchild of the Hamilton family too."

"You wicked girl, how dare you hurt a Hamilton?" Garth barked her fury palpable.

"You will pay according to the rules of the Hamilton family, that is of course after Elisa is done with you. What are you doing standing there, take her away!" Garth yelled at the military men.

Harlow wished they all had this energy for her Alex. She wished they all loved him as the first grandchild of both the Hamilton and Blackwood families.

Everyone hated her child back then, including her family. Frank never visited her any day, and Alanis was never home to see his son until his one-year birthday. Garth and her children hated her son and called him every bad name known on earth.

And Elisa, she didn’t even acknowledge Harlow’s existence not to think of Alex.

Claudia was the one who killed her child in the past, and now, she had accidentally killed her child too.

"Y... You!" George yelled. "You killed my child!" He better day vibrated with anger.

"Harlow is this true," Charlotte asked. She knew her granddaughter-in-law from the past was back for revenge, but these people, they don’t know about the past. They only know the present, doing things like this for revenge will only make her the villain.

"Why the ruckus, it’s only a miscarriage, it’s not like the baby is formed yet." Harlow’s cold voice made Elisa’s blood boil. Charlotte didn’t say anything anymore.

"Besides, I had no idea Claudia was pregnant, I was only protecting myself from her." She said not caring if they believed her or not.

"You claim you were protecting yourself but Claudia is the one with injuries all over her body," Elisa screamed. She has never been this furious before.

"You can pretend all you want Harlow, that would not change my mind about you." Elisa fought the man to let her go and when he did, she kissed his cheeks with her palm hard.

"I hired you to deal with her not protect her!" She turned to the other soldiers, "Don’t make me repeat myself twice, take her away!" The men stood there as she glanced at each other and then at the man before them.

Alanis didn’t need to utter a word for them to know what to do.

"W... We’re so sorry ma’am, but we don’t want our hands chopped off." One of them said gingerly. Alanis’s threats are not to be taken lightly, what he says he would do is what he would do.
