Everyone started leaving the yard one after another once the punishment was finalized. Alanis took his wife back into their Villa, Garth and Elisa walked into her own Villa.

Elisa was still so furious things hadn’t gone her way. Harlow should not be alive, she should be dead for killing her son.

"It’s alright Elisa, George will see to it that they get the punishment they deserve." Garth tried to calm the woman down. She still didn’t know how Alanis managed to save his wife from their hands today, but she would deal with them both.

"Claudia begged that I give her child justice. That baby did nothing to Harlow, why the hell did she hurt my child?" Elisa cried out. It was just so frustrating that Harlow was standing right in front of her yet she couldn’t do anything to her.

She had underestimated Alanis Hamilton so much to think of him as just a mere boy. He has acquired fat more than she knows.

"Claudia and my grandchild will both get their justice, I will never let Harlow live in peace, as long as I am alive," Garth promised.

"I need to see Claudia and tell her about Harlow’s punishment. I hope she’s happy about it." Elisa picked up her bag and wiped her tears as she started walking out of Garth’s Villa. Garth escorted her out of the Villa with Jane tailing behind them.

"I didn’t like the punishment given to that rude woman lady Garth, she should have been beaten to death," Jane said next to her madam as she watched Elisa drive away.

"The politics of this family is far beyond what you think," Garth responded. Grandma Hamilton is the real reason for everything. She’s the head of the family and has the final say. They have tried to put her on their side, but it seems the old woman just hates Garth and everything she does.

"If it is grandma, we could just kill her off. Maybe give her the poison we got for Elisa."

"Hush," Garth said immediately to her personal maid looking around if anyone heard them. "Your big mouth would put us into trouble one day," Garth said.

"Even if we do kill her as you have suggested, she might pass down her crown to Alanis or Harlow," Garth said. She had thought it through, no one knew that old fool’s successor.

If she gives the head to Harlow, then they’re doomed for life, so it’s best they stay this way. They’ll just have to deal with both Harlow and Alanis their way.

"That would be a disaster," Jane said as they both stepped in. They both know what Harlow can and cannot do, no one wants to incur her wrath.

"You didn’t have to take the punishment for me," Harlow said to the man seated before her as she arranged his hair. Alanis had demanded she did his hair right now, when they had important matters to handle, in his words, he was teaching her to be a good wife.

Ava who had heard everything was not happy about this. Her Miss Harlow was wrong for killing Claudia’s child, but even her Miss Claudia deserved whatever she had gotten, she knew Claudia must have tempted Harlow again.

She placed the glass of juice on the table before bowing her head and walking away.

It’s been so long since she’s spoken with Harlow, she wanted to ask about everything happening.

"What was I supposed to do then?" Alanis met her gaze. Even while he was sitting this little woman was on his height level.

"I caused this, you let me handle it." She said her soft fingers moving through his hair.

He placed his hands on her cheeks and then pinched it tenderly. "Silly girl." Alanis clicked his tongue.

"I should be a dead man then." He said. "It’s only when I’m dead that anyone can hurt you and even if I am, I would still fight however I can from the land of the dead." Harlow stood frozen on the floor as she just stared at him and only when he did poke her nose did she blink her way out of his spell.

Harlow cracked her throat.

"Why are you doing this?" She asked staring at him.

"Because I love you." Her heart skipped a beat at his words but she brushed it off. She should be used to him saying he loves her, but what does every time he says it feels better than the last? She wanted to hear his I love you, for the rest of her life.

’Get over it you stupid woman, he killed your children.’ She reminded herself over and over again.

"You don’t, it’s only a fling." She said and Alanis chuckled.

"I do love you sweet sweetheart, and I’ll say it a thousand times more." He said. Harlow was silent for a moment, and then as if coming back to her senses, "We’re done for the day." She was about to walk away when Alanis grabbed her worst and pulled her close.

She lost balance and fell towards him, but by the time she realized herself, she was laying on something hard. A cold wind blew the strands of hair that covered her face away as those pair of black eyes met his.

"What are you doing?" She asked forcing herself up but Alanis held her still, in the blink of an eye he switched positions and had gotten on her.

"What does it look like I’m doing my villain? Your lips are extremely inviting and I want to have a taste of that. Harlow frowned at his words.

She has been the obedient wife giving him all he wants but this time, she won’t.

"Get off me Alanis." She warned but the man beneath her only smiled.

"I will, but not without a kiss." He smiled. Before Harlow could say anything else, he covered her mouth with his.

Harlow’s eyes had gotten so wide that it felt like her eyeball would pop out at any moment. She had sworn to never let this man be intimate with her but here she is.

She felt his tongue swipe against her lips as it poked her.

Harlow struggled against him refusing him access to her mouth. She must keep to her promise, and when she finally did free her lips, she slapped him hard.

"You have broken the rules." She said to the man whose eyes were filled with lust. He didn’t say a word to her, he only clenched his teeth and kissed her again.

This time more passionate than the last as he dived deep into her mouth, his tongue moving through every part of her warm mouth, turning her hot and breathless at the same time.

Harlow didn’t have the strength to fight him anymore, she had no idea when a strange sound left her lips. The sound she has been trying to hide.

Her fingers moved through Alanis’s hair grabbing it tightly as she struggled for air and then at the same time, the door to their room opened with Ava stepping in.
