The Monarch-Chapter 714: Hypnos Celestia
The law of chaos began to float near Kayden; the boy was fully capable of circling it without being affected. It was a unique law, its form was undefined and at the same time defined, and in addition he could feel the law of creation and the karmic law being fully present at that moment.
Kayden was incapable of grasping this law at that moment; this became obvious to him after a few seconds. There was only a small difference of a few seconds, but the difference in knowledge was completely insane. What happened was very similar to someone who begins to learn about cars for the first time.
Anyone is capable of opening a car and understanding what each part does, not only that but also capable of disassembling it and assembling it again, but not in a perfect way; a lot of experience would be missing to be able to disassemble and assemble something properly.
That was what was happening with Kayden at that moment; he was capable of seeing the law of chaos and seeing it in the world, but he was incapable of manipulating it or adding it to his path. Kayden became capable of seeing, but incapable of understanding, yet this small detail was insane.
His progress was the same as that of a person who spent trillions of years studying the law of chaos; at that moment he was at the same level of understanding as that god with his garden, and that was insane. His progress was trillions of years faster than that of any god in that world.
"This universe..." Kayden spent a few minutes trying to understand what he was seeing and... "it does not exist." That was his conclusion, and his old friend answered him quickly. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
"Exactly." Hypnos was completely dazzled by Kayden’s talent; it was far more insane than he had truly expected. "We are in absolute nothingness and at the same time we are at every point in the universe; a single step is enough and you will be anywhere in existence."
Kayden did not respond for a few hundred years while studying the environment. He was able to see what the cat had said; a single movement was enough for him to leave that place, but a single movement was also enough for him to find himself completely lost within that universe.
"The timelines... are lost here, I can access any point in spacetime." Kayden shivered at this realization. He saw hundreds of timelines, he saw hundreds of Kaydens having the same reflection, and this caused a wave in his mind.
Was he not unique? Was he not supposed to be the only mage capable of doing this? Kayden saw hundreds of Kaydens, saw hundreds of versions of himself with small differences, but in the end all of them were Kayden.
His path was replicated again and again, trillions of variations, and all the Kaydens looked at each other at the same time. All of them recognized themselves; each of them was able to see the other Kaydens. It was a unique moment, it was complete madness to see himself repeated trillions of times.
The number of Kaydens across the timelines was practically infinite, but the number that managed to reach that point and see themselves in the other timelines was insane. Kayden knew that it was not all of them at the same time; some were older or younger, but all of them at some point in their lives reached this peak of power and this space of the universe of chaos.
Kayden began to question his own existence. He knew that in all of existence there was not a single mage like him, there was not a single being capable of rivaling him, he was completely unique, but... and in other timelines? And against beings that were him and had gone through the same life experiences as he had?
Previously he had already seen the presence of other Kaydens, but he had not really seen it so deeply; some details were missing for him to be able to truly see this perspective in which he now was.
"Yes, but you are incapable of entering those timelines," Hypnos began to speak after Kayden returned to awareness of his surroundings.
"Why? I feel that I only need to stretch a little and I will be ready," Kayden commented while extending his hand and thinking.
"The tunnel of time, you will be incapable of passing through it." Kayden began to grow thoughtful about this; it was a new world that was opening to him, it was something completely different from everything he had ever thought before.
"Are there people who were capable of passing through it?" Kayden asked curiously.
"Yes and no." Hypnos began to release information that no being should have access to; this immediately summoned some beings around them. "All of you have already chosen your heir."
"Is this an official appointment?" a voice that Kayden would recognize at any moment of his life echoed through space; it was the heavens.
"Yes, I, Hypnos Celestia, the celestial of souls, recognize Kayden Heart of existence number 9 trillion, 800 billion, 100 million, 42 thousand, and 317 as my current heir to my legacy."
For Kayden nothing changed; for the gods in general nothing changed either, but for a small number of mages something completely new appeared. A new heir of the celestials appeared. Kayden finally had one of his oldest doubts answered, one of the first questions he asked himself back in his old world: what was truly the level of strength of Hypnos and Thoth?
"So you really were celestials," Kayden murmured, "also known as owners of the heavens." Kayden baited to reap the ripe and...
"Yes, but that is none of your concern." Hypnos did not care in the slightest about Kayden speaking normally with him. "As I was saying earlier, there are many mages who crossed the timelines, but 99% of them crossed because of some random events."
Kayden was trying to absorb the events and at the same time follow Hypnos’s sentences, but they were interrupted by a mage who had already appeared many times in Kayden’s life.
"Why did you choose this Kayden? There are hundreds stronger than him in the other timelines; some even mastered the law of chaos and are one step away from becoming celestials." Thoth appeared and released some questions that revealed frightening secrets.
"I have already had the conversation in which Kayden realizes that there are other Kaydens trillions of times; in practically all timelines it is me who sees this." Kayden was silent, absorbing as much information as possible. "In 99.9999% of the times they are the same words and the same actions; a few have small unique differences, but this Kayden had a unique plan, something that none of the others had, and you know what is funny? He is by far one of the least capable and also one of the most common among them."
"What is his plan?" Thoth’s curiosity was completely stirred.
"Secret." Hypnos smiled.
