The Soft-Hearted Wife of Mr. Big Shot-Chapter 163: The Girl Has Quite a Temper
"Do you want to try it, too?"
A joyful voice suddenly came from behind. Leo had somehow walked up behind Holly, his gaze fixed on Holly’s flushed face.
His eyes followed Holly’s gaze to the TV screen, where the main couple was absorbed in a kiss. Leo smiled slightly.
"I... don’t want to."
Holly was startled, instinctively moving a few steps forward, her eyes in a fluster.
She hurried to find the remote control but seemed unable to locate it anywhere.
"Looking for this?"
Leo chuckled softly, holding the remote in his hand while looking at Holly with a loving and gentle gaze.
Holly’s eyes widened as she reached out to grab the remote.
Taking advantage of his height, Leo gently raised his hand, and Holly missed it entirely.
Holly glared and stood on tiptoe to grab it. Leo easily dodged, his eyes always filled with laughter.
"Shorty."
Leo’s low voice carried a cheerful tease, amused by Holly’s frantic attempts to grab the remote.
Holly: "..."
Was he mocking her?
Holly shot a glare at Leo and jumped up to grab the remote. Leo switched hands, easily dodging thanks to his height.
Holly was a bit angry and stomped hard on Leo’s foot, catching him off guard. He winced in pain, stumbled back a few steps.
Holly took the opportunity to snatch the remote. She got it, but Leo lost his balance, and Holly lunged forward, causing them both to fall to the ground.
Leo: "..."
Holly: "..."
Leo’s head hit the ground, Holly fell on top of him, her head in his chest.
Both were a bit stunned, unable to react immediately.
"What, cuddling up? Want to try it?"
Leo curled an evil smile, gazing warmly at Holly.
The TV continued, with the couple now lying in bed.
Holly: "..."
Holly felt her brain oxygen-deprived, hesitating to react.
"Not getting up? Really want to try?"
Leo gazed warmly at Holly, a smile on his lips.
Holly snapped out of it, quickly climbing off Leo, brushing off nonexistent dust and stepping back a bit.
She turned to the TV, her previously normal face quickly turning red again. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
Holly: "..."
Can’t be serious.
After Holly got up, Leo also got up from the ground, his head throbbing from hitting the floor.
"So, Holly can’t wait anymore?"
Leo stepped forward a few steps, leaning toward Holly’s ear, his voice soft and teasing.
Holly’s face turned even redder, covering her face with her hands, avoiding Leo’s gaze.
Ahhh, so embarrassing. If there were cracks in the ground, she would really want to crawl into one. Is it really this awkward?
Seeing Holly’s face turn redder successfully, Leo laughed with pleasure.
The shy look of the little girl was extremely cute.
"I don’t want to talk to you."
After a while, Holly slowly spat out a sentence, glaring fiercely at Leo before returning to the sofa.
The passionate scene in the TV had already passed.
"So Holly likes watching this kind of thing, got it."
Leo walked over and sat next to Holly, his smile always gentle.
He suddenly found teasing Holly to be a very enjoyable thing; the little girl was easily made blushed.
"Get lost."
Holly glared at Leo, her eyes practically capable of slicing him, fierce.
She had never realized Leo could be so annoying, finally experiencing it.
Leo remained unfazed, continuing to smile.
Holly continued watching her TV show, refusing to even glance at Leo, shifting herself away from him.
Leo also moved a bit closer to Holly.
Holly: "..."
Unbelievable!
The TV show finished, and Holly felt sleepy. She yawned, slowly walking upstairs, not sparing a glance at Leo.
Leo, however, naturally followed Holly upstairs.
"What are you doing?"
Holly entered the room, with Leo following behind. Holly turned and glared at Leo.
Why was he coming in when she was going to sleep?
"Going to sleep."
Leo seemed matter-of-fact, looking entirely calm.
Holly: "..."
Holly glared at Leo, slamming the door shut with a bang, seemingly expressing her dissatisfaction.
Leo was shut outside the door, chuckling.
Looks like the little girl was angry.
After a while, the door opened again, Holly stood coldly at the door, holding a pillow.
"What, inviting me in?"
Leo laughed, looking at Holly, the tone full of amusement.
Holly’s tone wasn’t good: "No way."
She threw the pillow at Leo forcefully, then slammed the door shut again.
Rejected for the second time, Leo wasn’t angry, but rather happy.
The little girl knew how to throw a tantrum now; it’s good.
"What do you want for breakfast tomorrow?"
Leo stood at the door for quite a while, slightly smiling, gently knocking on the door, his voice soft.
The little girl needed soothing when angry.
Inside, it was silent; Holly buried herself in the blanket, her face annoyed.
Really, how could Leo be like this?
Leo’s voice sounded outside the door, Holly acted as if she hadn’t heard, not wanting to engage with Leo.
"Since you’re not speaking, I guess I’ll have to decide for you."
Leo’s voice carried happiness.
Holly was utterly ignoring.
"How about we have porridge for breakfast tomorrow?"
Leo deliberately suggested it; the little girl didn’t like light things.
"Not good."
Holly’s muffled voice came from inside, grumbling in disagreement with Leo’s suggestion.
Drinking porridge in winter makes her pee more, and she’s lazy, not wanting frequent trips to the bathroom, besides porridge is mostly bland.
"What should we eat then?"
Talking through the door about breakfast plans, Leo had a lot to say while Holly responded indifferently.
Leo wasn’t angry, aware he had upset the little girl.
"Can’t you decide yourself, why ask me?"
The door opened once more, Holly’s puffed face appeared in Leo’s sight.
"Angry?"
Leo toned down his smile, knowing the little girl’s anger was fake, but he still had to coax her.
"No."
Holly turned her face away, refusing to look at Leo, still puffed up.
Leo wished to pat Holly’s head, but the door was swiftly shut again by Holly, leaving his hand hanging mid-air.
He touched his nose, smiling, contemplating how big the little girl’s temper was.
