Chapter 64: Skill Slot Limit

Henry led the way, as the group immediately entered the palace that had appeared in front of them. This palace was way bigger, not only in terms of the space that it had occupied, but also in terms of height.

All the surrounding buildings had been cleared out, it was as if they never existed. Still, neither Henry nor the other cared about them.

The moment that they stepped into the palace, they were immediately awed by how the interior of the building was. It was as if this building had been built for the rich noble people of ancient times.

After walking through the hallway, they finally came to a large hall. In this hall, there was a big rectangular table, surrounded by several chairs. And, there was a single majestic chair outstanding all the others that were at the head of the table.

Other than that, flanking it, there were two chairs that were of the same size. It was obvious that they were of the same rank.

The group immediately went ahead and sat around the table, with Henry obviously taking the position at the head of the table. As for Olivia, she obviously sat on his right, while Adam sat on his left.

Sarah had no complaints as she sat on the ’normal’ chairs around the majestic table. She knew her limits all too well. Not only Adam was close to Henry, but even Olivia had already earned the position. After all, she was capable of fighting side by side with Henry.

Singled out, Olivia didn’t care much about the rank. To her, she was okay as long as she was not completely ignored. That was just her personality.

At this moment, Henry finally saw the information that had appeared in front of him. He was not the only one as everyone else present finally saw the information. However, it was of course different from what Henry was seeing.

[A territory has already been built. Although, to be able to be recognized in the apocalypse as a human stronghold, you will need to recruit at least 100 humans.]

[Only after 100 humans have been recruited into the territory, then and only then will the Lord of the territory have the authority to give it a name]

After seeing the information, Henry didn’t care much about it. He was sure that the appearance of the building was definitely going to attract a lot of attention from the people present in the surrounding areas.

So, it definitely wasn’t going to be a difficult task for him to be able to recruit 100 people. Though there was no chance that he was going to recruit mediocrity. Even if it was going to take a long time for him to be able to give the territory a name, that didn’t matter to him alot.

"I guess we need to get 100 people to be able to successfully ensure that the territory has been recognized." At this moment, Olivia finally spoke.

[Territory panel.

Territory name: ???

Territory Lord: Henry Hudson.

Location: Crystal city

Territory level: Level 1

Facilities available: kitchen, dining area, sleeping quarters, conference room, defense systems, alarm systems. ]

Looking at the territory panel that had appeared in front of him, it was simple, and it gave him enough information about the territory.

Just by focusing on the feature of the territory panel, he would be able to see detailed information about it. And currently, the living quarters could be able to accommodate up to 200 people.

Each person was given a self-contained house, that only possessed a single bedroom. It was obvious that this was not a place for big families to stay in.

And even though it was true that the building possessed several rooms, Henry wasn’t going to allow just anyone to be able to enter it. Only those that possessed incredible abilities, or had contributed to the territory were the ones that were going to be allowed to roam these grounds.

The conference room was where they currently were in, the kitchen and the dining area were located on the same side. As for the alarm system, that was something that was located in the conference room, but it was capable of alerting everyone present inside this building.

"You guys can take this chance to rest. Ever since the apocalypse descended, we have not had a chance to relax well." Henry said.

It was true. It was not just him, or not just a matter of being tense during the time that they were in the sea, but, Henry had never managed to get a good rest for the past decade. After all, he had to sleep late, and wake up early.

Henry then went ahead and began assigning rooms to everyone. As usual, he definitely took the biggest room as that was the one for the territory Lord. As for the second in command, it was taken by Olivia.

Adam didn’t complain when he took the third largest room present in the building. But still, in his heart, he had already begun planning for the method that he was supposed to use to ensure that his strength increase.

Even though it was true that he was currently weaker than Olivia, that didn’t mean that it had to stay that way. After all, he possessed SS grade berserker profession.

During the time that everyone was resting, Henry once again began looking at the skills that he possessed. Additionally, he began focusing on the gains that he had gotten after reaching the bronze rank.

Not only had The energy present in his body increased, but also, he felt that he was now capable of controlling the energy present in his body more efficiently than before.

One had to remember that, the control that was possessed by Henry was already high considering that he had practiced in the system space. However, that control had been enhanced once again.

Additionally, he felt that the energy present in his body was just enough for him to be capable of summoning yet another creature. But still, he wasn’t in a hurry to do that because this was the time that he was supposed to relax.

He was sure that the moment that trouble began knocking at their door, it would definitely take a very long time to be able to stabilize the conditions.

It was also at this moment when suddenly, Henry thought of something. Since they had broken through to the bronze rank, they had received an ability to see the stats of an object or a person as long as they focused on them.

Without hesitation, he immediately focused on his hand, and not long after, another screen appeared in front of him.

[Name: Henry Hudson.

Age: 21 years old.

Profession: Summoner and Warlock professions.

Power level: Level 1 Bronze rank.

Skills:

Classless; Power Surge, Injury immunity

Mage path; Fireball, Fire arrows.

Sword path; Sword rain, Mountain Splinter.

Tools mastered: pistol (one star), staff (one star), sword (one star), axe (one star), car driving (one star) ship navigation (one star).

Equipment: Three star armor, Raging Fire Flood Sword. ]

Henry was actually surprised that he was capable of seeing his own stats just by focusing his gaze on himself. He couldn’t help but get curious about the stats that were going to be shown on the others, but there was no way that he could confirm their stats and the limits of the information that he could receive now.

With that finally out of the way, Henry finally began focusing on learning the skills that he had purchased.

One by one, skills began appearing in his mind as he learnt them one after the other.

Fire dragon, Fire bolt, Flame strike. But, after he had only learnt three skills, abruptly, Henry could no longer learn any other skills. It was as if there was no any other space that could accommodate the other skills.

Currently, the total number of skills that Henry had learned was seven. Mountain splinter, injury immunity, fire bolt, fire dragon, Fireball, fire arrows, power surge.

At that exact moment, another prompt appeared in front of him.

[The number of skills that a single profession can take is 5 at the Bronze rank. To be able to learn more skills for the warlock profession, you will have to reach the silver rank.]

Henry was left speechless. After all, all this while, he had simply thought that he could perhaps learn all the skills that he had purchased from the system. But it turned out that he was thinking much.

But at this moment, he couldn’t help but feel aggravated. After all, he was not warned earlier. Otherwise, he would have definitely tried learning sword skills, to ensure that there was a balance between close combat and long-range distance combat skills.

Still, there was nothing that he could do about it. Previously, he had attempted to purchase skills that were related to the summoner profession, surprisingly, he found out that there was none that he could purchase.

’System, is there perhaps a reason that something like this could happen?’ Since Henry was not able to interact with the other system that had appeared, he could only interact with the soul system.

Currently, Henry was wondering why it was that the maximum limit of the skills that he was supposed to possess were only five, although he currently owned seven of them.

[The reason behind this is simple. You have two professions, and, in the summoner profession, you don’t possess any skill. For that reason, as long as the skill does not belong to the warlock profession, you have five other spots for learning skills.]

Henry was finally relieved after he got the response. Even though he could not learn any skill that was related to the warlock profession, at least, he could learn another skill that didn’t belong to any profession specifically.

But at this moment, Henry had decided not to learn any skill. After all, it was going to be an advantage for him to be able to have free skill slots. Otherwise, who knows if he was going to get a skill in the future, and would have no slot for learning it?

[Danger alert! Zombies are intruding the territory! Danger alert! Zombies are intruding the territory! Danger alert! Zombies are intruding the territory!]

At this moment, a warning siren immediately rang in the entire building, immediately alerting the group that was just about to begin resting.
