Chapter 68: Chapter 68; You want to go home?

"Sigh!" She facepalmed herself! This could be the case, trying to avoid her as the kids were also present! It wouldn’t be a good image if they fought in front of the kids.

Huo Tinghao and Huo Feihao walked out of the bathroom with clean mouths and faces.

They couldn’t see their father they had left in the wardroom present, and only the guards were positioned at the door.

"Father is gone already?" They queried as they walked over to the hospital bed and let their elbows lean on the hospital bed while their palms supported their faces facing her.

Their little faces and eyes looked adorable and she could see that adoration flowing out of their little eyes.

"Yeah! He went back to the mansion to check up on the other girls and bring them over to check up on your brother!" She stretched her hand and, in a feathery manner, caressed their hair, earning a warm smile from them.

They looked so cute apart from slightly being malnourished, but their skin had begun rejuvenating with proper care.

"Do you blame me for losing the two of you? How was life in the streets?" Tang Fei had to honor her mistakes even though it was the original Tang Fei who had messed up and left a lot of damage for her to mend.

"Mother! We are doing fine, right?" Huo Tinghao didn’t want to let his mother know how life in the streets was tough and terrible. He didn’t want to see her heartbroken and felt heartache!

She hasn’t recovered and he needed to be considerate of his mother’s feelings! His sister also agreed with him on that!

"Okay, your breakfast is over there on the coffee table. You can serve and eat, or bring it over, and I will assist you!" She pointed over to the coffee table. She knew the kids were being considerate of her emotions and they didn’t want anything to happen to her.

"Okay, Momma..." They rushed over to the coffee table; they each picked up warm packed soy milk and steamed buns before going back to the hospital bed and standing just close by; they took a bite and a sip of Soy milk before gazing at her.

Their little actions were so adorable! She could only sigh! How could a person not like such sweet kids?

"Huo Tinghao, your father told me that you want to join the military academy!" She eyed them while moving her head into a comfortable position, but they didn’t seem fussed.

"Me too momma... I’m also going over to join the military academy!" Feihao hurriedly chipped in seeing her mother could be excluding her.

She also wanted to join along with her two brothers! She couldn’t be left behind! She had to tag along and experience it by herself.

"Mother, I think it’s the right place to study so we want to join, not for any other reasons!" Huo Tinghao politely responded but didn’t give any significant explanation for that because he thought his mother might not allow them to if he said all honesty reasons!

"You can’t change your mind at all?" They seemed to be decided and nothing she could say could change their mind!

"Come on Momma! Let’s just join the Military Academy as it’s a good place to learn more things than the normal school! We can learn a lot there compared to the normal academy school!" Huo Zhihao woke up and his coarse voice could be heard before Huo Tinghao could respond!

Tang Fei hurriedly turned around to face Huo Zhihao who had woken up and tried to sit up. Huo Tinghao placed his food on the bedside drawer before walking over to his hospital bed and assisted him to sit up while placing some pillows at his back to support him so that he could lean backward comfortably.

"Zhihao! You are awake! How are you feeling? Your dad told me you had a high fever last evening!" Tang Fei was happy to see him wide awake and looking much better! Nothing overjoyed her more than seeing him recover and get well.

"I’m okay momma... Nothing to worry about! When are we getting discharged out of this place?" He didn’t want to smell the same disinfectant all over and over again, he wanted to go home somewhere he could have some fresh air.

"You want to go home?" Tang Fei also felt like going home, but they wouldn’t be discharged now; she could see her wounds hadn’t healed yet and probably would stay in the hospital for a few more days.

"I will talk to your father and let him get you discharged as you are recovering already." Staying around the hospital wardroom wasn’t a good place for children to stick around where all kinds of germs existed and it was easy to get infected with all kinds of airborne diseases.

"But I can’t go home and leave you all alone here." He did want to go home but not all by himself while leaving their mother in the hospital. He would accompany her anywhere she was.

"Honey... It’s not like I will stay here forever! It would take probably two or three more days!" Tang Fei endearingly called him trying to sweet talk him over going back home.

Huo Zhihao profusely blushed! "Momma, don’t call me honey!" He felt like that name suited couples most like her and his father.

"What else do you want me to call you?" She eyed him meaningfully seeing him blush so vibrantly.

"Brother, it shows that momma adores you the most! Do you want to eat something?" Huo Feihao, on the other side, didn’t think it was a big deal to call him that. It was just an endearing word.

"Yes of course! I’m hungry... Tinghao, you can go and continue having your breakfast before it becomes cold..." After getting in a comfortable position, he nudged him away as he had noticed he had placed his breakfast down.
